How to Test & What to Report:

If you could, please test both of these alone at first, before trying them in mixes.

3 sprays to your hot spots (back of neck, wrists, inner elbow area, front of neck/chest are all good) is a good place to start with complex mixes. Work up or down from there.

We’re as interested in hearing how these pheromones and suspected pheromones work on others, as we are about how they affect you.

Remember, not all pheromone effects are directly sexual in nature. Pheromone effects can be as varied as human expression is itself.

Note differences from the “norm” (what you normally happens in your life) when you use the new molecules and mixes. Not all differences can be attributed to the pheromones, of course, but some may be responsible. The key is seeing differences or categories of differences that repeat, that show some sort of pattern or relationship.

For the benefit of the community and our own ease of searching, we’d prefer that the bulk of feedback received be posted directly to the forum. Anything you’re not comfortable saying here, we’ll still gladly listen to by private message or phone.

Oops. Thanks for letting me know! Looks like it was set to only 1 use by accident, so it autoexpired when someone else ordered. I reset it and tested it, and it works fine again.

No offence but could our packers be more sensitive and aware of the customers’ checkout/order notes, just like what us guys should be when using A314?:confused:
Example taking note of what particular scent we would prefer for a particular product, etc in the order notes at least.
They seem to be quite ignorant of it from afew of my experiences.:frowning:

Jasmin, can you tell us about the idea behind adding extra pheromones to A314? I remember you mentioned a while back that newer A314 versions will be lighter, with higher approachibility, more fun. Is it an attempt in that direction or is it more dark/serious?

Okay, I’m not an expert on all the A314 experiments, but I grilled the guys. I’ll do my best to organize all this in English that us mere mortals can understand.

It’s a TON of stuff, so make sure you have a snack ready. :slight_smile: Here goes…

It’s A314 “Special Edition” that would be a little more all-in-one, a little more social.

A314 Special Edition = Classic + Instant Openness + Instant Shine

These two mixes aren’t that. If they end up testing well, they may be used as a base for the Special Edition. What they actually are are proposed updates to Classic A314 or A314 Classic “flavors”. Whatever we do, we don’t want to change Classic radically.

You might think it’s odd to update Classic at all, but it’s a “known secret” that even Coke has gently updated Classic Coke over the years. They change it in a way that’s just subtle enough so you can’t consciously detect any major changes, yet the bulk of their customers enjoy Coke Classic more in taste tests. People like it more, even though they can’t explain why. One of the mixes is like this – general subtle improvements and updates based on what we know now.

A lot of people get caught up on the formula (features), but we care about the end effect (benefits). You can get a similar or better end effect with slightly different chemistry. We always learn more about pheromone chemistry and it’s nice to make products better over time.

Coca Cola also come out with “flavors” of Coke Classic, like Coke Classic With Cherry. You can tell consciously tell that something was added, that, hey, “there’s something else in this”. One of the A314 mixes here was designed like this. It has an added flavor that’s substantial enough to change the end effect in ways some will like, but others won’t.

Here’s some details on the mixes. Please don’t read the following if it’ll over influence your testing. Some people let their imaginations run wild, and are better at creating “self-fulfilling prophecies” than others. I’ll put spoiler start and end markers so you can skip it if you’re one of these people.

One of the mixes above is intended to increase the range of people A314 effects. It should not decrease the positives of A314 that people are accostomed to at all. We’ve updated A314 like this before, and it’s worked well. The more people who respond positively to a mix, the better. Unless this ends up being less for work or other venues where people like A314, this might end up being a good upgrade to Classic itself.

The other mix above may increase the “follow me” type presence of A314. It’ll probably be a little more serious than A314 has been so far. We want to see how people like that. This would probably best be an “A314” flavor. Something more appropriate for work, since it’ll probably be a little less romantic than A314 has been in the past.

I won’t say which mix is what. The more blindly you test these, the more useful your feedback will be for the creation of new products or flavors.

Keep in mind that neither description may fit perfectly (or at all). Often what’s planned for a mix creates unpredictable results. That’s why these are just test mixes. We may need to create a number of test mixes before we actually change anything at all, or come out with a new flavor. We’re on the conservative side when it comes to new releases and changes to our current products.

Even the overhaul of Turn Up The Heat from v1.0 to v1.1, which had new 9 phermones added, has received nothing but praise since it keeps all the positives. The core benefit doesn’t change. It just piles on more benefits, and we’ve yet to receive anything but praise about it.

It’s because it’s all detail work that’s being done. The core doesn’t change. It’s like an artist adding more details to a statue or a painting. From far away, it doesn’t change, but up close it’s far more aaaamazing. Detail work most compelx and time consuming task of creating a product, but it’s also the most rewarding. It’s one of the key things that set us apart from other companies.

If you are upgrading and making very subtle changes, what if people liking it is part of them liking it better just for the fact that it is new. It is only natural that using too much of one thing you can experience burn-out, even if on a subtle scale and then just welcome any change no matter how small. I do this all the time with food and music.

Also if you are making these changes to A314, will you still keep the original for those who like those kind of effects? I’m all for the seriousness of A314 for a work environment, but I like some of the other effects. Oh well, even if you do change everything, I always have my Ace Raw Power.

That’s a very good point. Subtle changes make things almost new again for many people. We’ll have to account for that.

Yes, we can usually keep “archive versions” products. It’s easier to do so for spray-ons than oil products, but we could do it for popular oil products, too.

We’re going to try putting out the forum members special on Monday now (instead of Wednesday), to help consolidate our “crazy days” a little. We’ll have to experiment a little and see what happens.

Question: Are the to go bottles the same as Akuto is/was? So from plastic and not glas? I am always afraid that I break a glas bottle and that I OD everyone in the building :wink:

I don’t know if anyone answered this for you, but the To Go bottles are plastic, refillable atomizers, 5 ml size. No breakage worries and very convenient and lightweight.

Hey, what’s the recommended dosage for this stuff?

P.S. I applied 2 sprays of MX172 to my neck area, and felt a lot more “serious” in about 5 seconds. More feedback to come when I test this some more!

Here are my test results from MX172 and MX173:

MX172 feels like the more serious mix to me. It really feels like A314, just stronger. I feel strong, confident, GOOD! I love this mix! When I want a spray version of A314, I would prefer this over the older A314 spray. GREAT!!!

MX173 does not feel like A314 to me. I feel a bit goofy. Not strong. People seem more open though, as if I was using IO. It’s not what I would expect from A314. If I want that, I can always add some androstenol to A314.

Now I just hope that I am right and MX172 is indeed the “follow me” mix and MX173 is the “increased range” mix. If not, I really need to work on my perception skills :smiley:

Unfortunately, I don’t have the testing environment at the moment to really tell if the opening up aspect is better than with A314 + IO or CTTM2.

EDIT: After two hours more of wearig MX173 at work, I have desperately tried to wash it off. Today would be a really good day, I had a meeting with a very happy and satisfied cutomer etc., but I feel so weak and unhappy for no reason at all. Never ever again! I will go back to MX172 immediately!

Jasmin, I am going to a Christmas party tonight with my fiance. Here is a perfect opportunity to experiment with one of the new test mixes. Which one do you think I should wear? I am a willing subject here… I think I have all of the test mixes, just let me know which one you want me to try out. Then I wilt let you know what happens. I think I will definitely be trying hair magnet again today, although my newly dyed stawberry blonde hair might attract some attention in and of itself.
