Hello all, my real name is Titannius Anglewood, am a High Elf of Cornwood, and I roll a D20 (20 Sided Dice, for you normal people) in an attempt to cast my cone of freezing.
But in all seriousness, I’m a fairly big dork that deviates a lot from the social norm. Nineteen and male, I come from a fairly liberal Asian family straight from Korea with some fairly Korean values; my being situated in the overly competitive and Asian dominated northern New Jersey has helped to instill some fairly Asian values in me. However, I was not raised to fulfill the position of stereotypically hardcore and overachieving Asian that whittles away his life in school and sports. However, I really like games such as Magic and Call of Duty and while that fact may have stunted my social growth as it has stereotypically done to so many of my closest friends, it has not rendered me into a hopeless position of social oblivion – It has just sucked about 121 Hours and 37 Minutes worth of my time since early January alone.
In an attempt to defend my personal honor and overall dorkiness, I must state the fact that I absolutely love shopping … for clothes: something none of my friends (Which is about 99.9% male) could ever understand. Sale at Kenneth Cole? I’m all over there. Oh, just got to have that dress shirt from Banana. Jesus, I may not be able to wear anything in Anthropologie, but that simply does NOT stop me from dressing up my sister. I should probably state as a disclaimer that I’m 100% hetero.
With regards to my personality, it was best described to me by a ladyfriend who was trying to figure me out: I’m sociable, but not outgoing. Raised along with a very, very close group of friends, we had developed a clique early on in elementary school that we did not deviate from until graduating high school. And why would we? We were completely comfortable with our 6 friends: cooties and then the unreasonable fear of STDs (a fear used most likely as a comforting reason as why we didn’t have girlfriends) resulted in a relative exclusion of female activities beyond “just friends”. We were sociable, yes; we just didn’t actively search out to join other people.
So, here I am in college and I decide, what the hell, I kind of want a girlfriend. Without a distraction of any sort, I had easily maintained honors and massive amounts of free money in scholarships and such. But no matter how much times my numerous games killed and how good I felt dressing nicely anywhere I went, I got fed up with how lonely I am. Hell - I have a bunch of acquaintances but maybe about four or five who I can even come close to calling a friend. There were even a few girls who expressed interest in me but I had none towards them. Like clothes shopping, I walk out only with something I really, really want and if I can’t get something. And of course, every girl I’ve expressed interest in is taken.
Of course, being the good little Asian boy I was and knowing about pheromones by randomly googling them one day, I came upon this forum and Androtics and spent countless hours reading. If there’s one thing I got from games, it’s to read up to constantly on the latest “tech” (technology aka the newest “stuff”, usually in the form of information). So after spending countless hours reading journals and various threads, I had long since made my first purchase as the Christmas presents to myself: IG, IShine, and IH.
However, with an insufficient motive to leave my house during winter break, they had gone largely untouched and unnoticed for the most part. But now that I am back in school, I have gained a tremendous amount of motivation not only to try them, but to chronicle their effects which will be done in my future journal. But for now, I will attempt to use mones in order to fulfill one goal: Get a girlfriend that I can be happy with by gaining not only more confidence in myself, but a more biological attraction with my future targets.
Thanks for reading! Long story short, I’m a diabolically mad nerd out with some new tools to bend the wills of the lesser species we call “Woman” (A joke, for those who can’t understand my humor).
