Good morning all – well, it’s morning in Southern California, at any rate. I found this forum linked from Basenotes.net, my favorite perfume info site. I am interested, and I registered to join, because although I’ve been working with aromatherapy and essential oils for years, and like to mix my own fragrances, I have no experience working with pheromones at all; but I am curious about them, and good practical info by people who’ve actually used them is a little hard to find. So I hoped that I could learn more about them here from people who have experience with them. I’m off to read some posts. Thanks!

I think you’ll really like playing with pheromonal enhancements to your perfume mixes. Some of our pheromones have distinct characteristics all of their own, which usually enhance perfumes or alter notes, some bring out warmer notes…
You’ll definitely have fun trying everything out and smelling how your scents change.
Pheromones are human musks, after all.

Well, to be perfectly blunt, what actually drew me to CLICK here was the coupon offer, honestly! I wanted to check out whether it was merely a marketing ploy for more overpriced crap (there is a LOT of that out there on the Internets in the pheromone department, unfortunately), or whether this site appeared to be some place where I could actually learn something about pheromones and perhaps buy some of good quality to play with. After looking around for a little while, I decided that my hopes were true, and I’d lucked into a good place to learn …
I have actually been interested in pheromones for quite a while. Working with aromatherapy has taught me a lot about the power of scent molecules to affect human mood and thought (as well as the body). You read the phrase “sandalwood oil contains components similar to androstenone” enough times, you start to wonder, well, what if I could experiment with androstenone itself?
Can’t WAIT. I’m just about to make my first order.
Costa Mesa. Not as exciting as big, bad LA, but hey … I like where I’m living. I can ride my bike to Newport Beach! I moved here from Louisiana about a year or so ago for a new job, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the change of scene. (Sorry Dolly … but after several years in stinky old BR, it was high time for me to go … no offense huh? ) Now I want a better job … so I wonder what would happen if I wore MX 134 to an interview, eh?
