Hello members of this forum. I am spica2001(obviously not my real name ) and I am excited to read more and learn more about pheromones.
I learned this site on another message board I belong to and all of the posters kept referring members to check this site out and read about the different pheromone mixes since this seemed to be*** the site for hearing testimonies, advice and getting educated about pheromones.
After checking out the site and getting a feel for the overall vibe of the forum, I realized this seems like a great site to learn and share knowledge and experiences with pheromones.
A little bit of background on me: I’m a female in her late 20s and I am a native New Yorker.
**New York…as in New York City…with nearly 9 million people? Are you sure you are in the correct site? Well, I know that pheromones isn’t about just attracting people because obviously in a city as **populous as mine, getting attention is not impossible. That is not the mission for learning more about pheromones and experimenting with them. I am interested in understanding how the chemicals released can influence behavior. ****

Obviously whatever hormones the body is releasing and the body odor has an impact on others. So from a research point of view, there have been studies, that although they may not want to out and out say is connected to pheromones, does note the chemical changes in the body’s chemistry with the reaction that others have to it.
So even though attracting attention in such a largely populated city isn’t an issue, I am curious to see how pheromones influence the behavior of others in certain situations.
Everyone knows New Yorkers are on the go and to outsiders we may not be the most friendly or polite (I personally disagree but that is my bias showing there). It would be interesting to experiment and see how much of a change different mixes can illicit from people.
I hope to be able to share some anecdotes and also read and learn from other people’s experiences.
Well, you have found the right place to pursue your interest. Even if you are not lookinf for extra attention - Although you will get it and due to the differences between individuals responses to pheros, you may find it very interesting/surprising. You will also find considerable discussion on the other factors that affect phero response/use.
I suggest you look in the science forum for some more measured results from different pheros and there are plenty of first hand and anecdotal results regularly aired in both the mens and womens forums.
Fro starting out, I suggest you have a look at the unisex “socials” - Instant Shine, IO and IH - These should produce marked and observable responses from the off.
IS - is a happy and good to be around mood and steers other pheros into happy/fun territory.
IO - promotes flowing conversation
IH - Encourages closeness and bonding.
Others will no doubt be along soon to say more about the famale-specific pheros/mixes.
Oh and I hope NY is good just now - I had hoped to go back this year for a few weeks but a troublesome foot has put the kybosh on all my travel plans for this year.

New york sounds fun,the more people the better.You have more chances to meet people(^_^)Pheremones can do a lot in helping with behaviour by setting the mood and vibe but you also need to act like the vibe you want to put out.Found this a fun read on the effects and limits of pheremones.
Since your not really interested in the attraction aspect,you should probably check out the socials.They are pretty good at affecting behaviour and tend to be quite noticable.Instant openness tends to make people more chatty,instant shine happier and instant honesty more deep and trusting.You should definitely check out the womens journals for first hand results by people using it and the studies and abstracts section if your interested in the science of it all.Im still pretty new so im not that familiar with how it works just that it does(>*<)These two threads may make a fun read for you.All the best and youll be able to get some to-gos once mickaelia drops by to issue you your gift certificate.Sounds like youll have a fun time reporting in your own journal about your experiences though,should be interesting(^*^)
It’s funny you mentioned the social aspect part, on the other message board a question was posed as to whether people thought to use pheromones on job interviews. This angle hadn’t been explored because the initial draw was how it would attract the opposite sex.

If you are gonna place an order before that I suggest getting the social products like honesty and shine to help you get a better understanding of what pheromones do.
I just received my order!! That was quick!! I immediately spelled how good it was…then I thought…wait…how can I smell how good it is and I haven’t opened it?..Well a bit of something…can’t tell which spilled on the bubble wrap…at first this was me…
but then I thought…hey no use in crying over spilled pheromones…so I did the only logical thing I could think…I rubbed the bubble wrap all over myself lol…
I smell so good…I want to talk to myself
I am surprised this smells so good. I don’t know what I thought it would smell like but it smells like a fragrance I would buy myself. That alone is enough for me to purchase again.
I’m spritzing Instant Shine on my payments TODAY(I think I read that here). I was hoping it would come out before I mailed it out and since I can’t spray my computer and get the same results (Imagine if I could), I was praying it would arrive before the due date. But it’s here and hopefully it will let them have a feel good feeling about me!
Oh my I REALLY LOVE this scent…can’t identify what spilled but I will call it Experiment BW8511—BUBBLE WRAP 8-5-11<—when my package arrived.

Yup they ship pretty quickly.Actually they spray the bubble wrap of all the packages they send out with a spray of pheremones so it might not have leaked.I thought the same things when i first opened mine and could smell it so strongly.It gives off a good feeling though when your opening it.My package,all the to-gos were tightly closed and none of them were wet.Found out the smell was coming from the bubble wrap and not the spray bottles(^_^)If your spray pheremones were wet and you are sure they leaked,you can actually call the shop to sort it out.They are really nice here and im sure they will help you out.
Thats a pretty awesome way of dealing with it though by rubbing them on you(><)Haha,yeah.The pheremones here have pretty good smells and can actually be used as cologne though a lot of them are personal preference on which one is better.Can customize the scent when your more experienced though it costs more(><)
Not sure about the spraying instant shine on payments but might be an interesting experiment.Lol,yup.The bubble wrap experiment is interesting either way,whichever one it was(>_<)
So its been a few days and I don’t think I can experiment properly because I forget, I am a New Yorker through and through and even when I am outside around other people I’m on the go, on the move, so I can’t effectively determine if this is working or not. My encounters are very brief…like less than a minute, and since I am on vacation, other than my family, I don’t have many prolong encounters with other people.
When I am back to work, I will be able to see if there is a difference.
Also an unfortunate situation is I have very sensitive skin, or better stated, tempermental skin. I will be exposed to seemingly the same conditions and one day nothing…the next…
I am now experiencing a rash on my neck and upper torso (decolletage) area and I am trying to determine if this is from the sprays or something else. I sprayed my wrists and they are fine, so I am going to try to pinpoint what could be going on. I don’t think it’s the sprays but I don’t think its wise to continue to use them until I get the issue cleared up.
However in a few days I will have some good news to share.
