Have any of you tried androstadienone, and if so, what kinds of effects did you see?
I’ve used LS A1 for 5 or 6 years and found it a consistent performer. I haven’t noticed any self-effects but it usually has a calming and reassuring effect on women or, if she’s down, tends to elevate mood. I found it especially effective during female hormonal upheavals.
LS A1 is extremely concentrated and needs to be diluted for best results. However, in emergencies I’ve used one or two tiny drops smeared across my forearm and was amazed at the powerful mood enhancement it imparted to my GF. It’s also far less stinky than the old AD IFM, although it has a slight BO like odor.
Oky, cool. Because I recently purchased it from LS, the half-strength one. Though some of my reading said that androstadienone works much better when worn or accompanied by a man.
I have been waring it (solo) for a few days, and can’t tell if its doing anything. I’m pretty mellow anyway, though things sometimes are on my mind. I haven’t felt bothered by much, and don’t know if I would have been had I not been wearing it.
There is also a female member of my household who can be quite the drama queen (the main reason I thought I’d try it out). Thus far, in the past few days, there have been no outbursts, but again, perhaps there might not have been any anyway even if I had not been wearing it. So, the absence of PMS-ish moody female behavior may or may not indicate a “hit”.
Save female hormonal upheavals or extreme emotional humbles, A1’s effects are usually pretty subtle. I think of it mainly as a remedy for PMS or as a mild supplement to buffer more edgy mones like androstenone. In other words, for woman in a normal emotional state, you won’t notice much when wearing it. Find someone laid low with PMS, run to the mone locker and smear on A1, fetch them a coffee, hang for 10 minutes and it’s amazing to watch them gradually perk up and recover.
Hmm, I have no clue if A1 is more effective when worn by a man. A1 is known to be the most abundant mone on male skin. Perhaps there is a cascading or amplifying effect when worn by a man. I suspect I naturally have a lot of A1 as women have told me for years I have a calming, relaxing effect on them. I never thought of that as a great thing, but it seems to make them want to hangout and confess bizarre secrets.
So perhaps what I’ll do is try not using it, but keep it on hand. Then, next time there’s an emotional outburst, either put some on or sneakily spray some in the air, then see what happens.
I diluted it a bit with perfumer’s alcohol and put it in a to-go bottle, I figured spray is better than little drops (diffusion and all that).
