Hmm, back in the day I oft used massive androstenol doses for kicks (couple gel packs of SOE or many zaps of chemset alpha -nol). Felt slightly hyper at first but don’t recall any headaches or memory loss. USually didn’t feel much of anything. Was entertaining observing the motormouth, airhead comments and DIHL moments.
The nearest thing to your–“I also found that I had hyper-awareness in the same time, which flooded my head with every sound”–experience actually was with Molecule F. It made me extremely intolerant of pitch fluctuations and other musical minutia. I’m a music professor and conductor so that wasn’t really a good thing (distracting/irritating).
