Heeeey, all

Hey, I’m Jay and I’m from England. I’m 20 (almost 21) and currently in University. I’ve been a pretty shy guy since I can remember and find I’m fairly awkward in social situations unless I get a little bit inebriated… and then I probably only THINK I’m being witty and charming; the reality is likely far from that!

Anyway, I was talking to one of my friends about this (actually, talked to a few about it but only one is relevant here!) and he said that he uses this aftershave/cologne called Icebreaker, which uses pheromones to aide results, as it were. I looked into it and read a few reviews - some very positive, others not so much - and stumbled across a link to this place and figured I’d check it out, see what there is to see and so forth.

Having read a few things, the most interesting one was actually the one about increasing respect and social status… because I think that would then lead to more natural confidence and, in theory, problem somewhat solved. Odd as it may seem, I’m more intrigued by the prospect of being a confident, “powerful” guy, rather than finding some magic cologne, which was how this started. Though I’m not going to turn away the magic cologne… :stuck_out_tongue:

So yeah, that’s me. Can’t tell you how odd it feels to tell complete strangers that I’m socially inept, that’s somewhat counter-intuitive. I know nothing about pheromones beyond the very basic (as in, I know what they are, kind of, but not how [or if] they work). How does this work? And how can you separate them so specifically?

Hey there and welcome!
Yea the respect and social status raise is great. The best thing for that here is A314. by far my favorite product here. It is more expensive as it’s in oil form, and will generally last longer than the alcohol sprays. It raises your status and can get added respect from people. This can sometimes mean that people wont approach you as much as normal, but you can mix this with a social like IO, IH and/or IShine to helps make people comfortable around you at the same time.
I would look into this one if I were you.
Let us know how things go!

Sometimes they work by reinforcement. For example you are a shy guy and you happen to spray on some IO one day and notice some people decide to have random conversations with you. If this happens over time and frequently, then one can start to develop some social skills that are a side effect from IO (prolonging conversations, topic starts, etc).

Other times they work by your thoughts. I spray some A314 1.23B on you and you did your homework, knowing that it raises alpha-like values. Somewhere in your collection of thoughts and memories you conjure up an image of “The Man” in your brain and you apply it to your actions.

In a way, pheromones force you to go out there in the world and communicate. As guy with some shy tendencies myself, slap some IO on and say “Hi.”

Hey, welcome to PT! How is everything? Liking the weather in UK?

Although A314 is the best social elevator and respect pheromones, I recommend you IG, since you think your social skills are somewhat lacking.
Plus, girls YOUR AGE really like ig and A314 can be somewhat intimidating

For socials, I recommend you get io, ih and IShine.
IO to make others open up, ih to get others connected and close and IShine make them upbeat. It would be good with IG (or A314, if you insist)
Good luck!

Welcome to Pherotalk Jpep!

The A314 would eventually be perfect for you but because of how you described yourself in the introduction I believe for now Instant gentleman is the way to go.

IG will give you that respect you desire but at the same time you are very approachable. You give off that vibe that you are capable and dependable.

Openness is a great product for persons who have a little awkwardness in the first approach. Conversation flows even better with this product.

I also suggest Ammo because you will feel confident and act accordingly.

Do your reading/researching starting with the stickie’s in the men section. Tell us what you decided on and how it’s been working out for you.

Your gc was issued!

Hi Jay  I know you are here for pheromone advice but I must also tell you this before you start and get disappointed: It is said that pheromones are 10% and you are 90%. I say that it is at least 30% mones and 70% you :stuck_out_tongue:. That means that pheromones will help you create attraction and project a different social vibe to others. If you are shy and don’t react upon this signature you are giving, you will confuse people around you and most likely they will get attracted to your friends (or anyone hanging out around you) but not you.

This company CANNOT be lying sir . I mean they have a 200% money back guarantee so if it doesn’t work, just return your products. Not to mention the GREAT customer support that they will have and you will soon witness by yourself when you order from them

Just like I said before, you have to start working on yourself first. Pheromones are not “perfum” that smell so good that they create attraction. Pheromones are actually synthesized molecules that is been proven to enhance your social interactions. That being said, let me go in-depth on what I think you should buy and what’s their effects:
(That is my opinion and you could experiment and buy whatever you want of course  ).

  • Your “magic cologne” would be: A314-A spray. It project a very masculine and dominant vibe. You are the man and the leader. You can’t have your face down with this. No shyness too. It’s been reported that the self-effects include “confidence-boost”, “self-centered”, “upbeat” or “in charge”. It might be too serious if used by itself. Serious as is you are an officer or some high authority person.

  • IG: Substitute and a lighter version of A314. You pick one of them. IG has been used to attract younger girls which you might find useful. It is less serious than A314, gives you a confident boost still and makes you look much “cooler” and “dependable”.

Now with pheromones that should “balance out” the serious effects of the above pheromones or are just a “final touch”:

  • ISHINE : This one just makes you shine! Gives you a glow and you will be surprised at the compliments you will get just by wearing this. You might even want to try it by itself at 4-5 sprays and you will see the positive effects from it on you and others. It makes everyone feels great and you will find that everyone will just enjoy being around you. A great final touch product to any pheromone.

  • IO : Just like ISHINE but makes other VERY talkative and more open. You might want to pick that one since it will open people up to you (they are going to make first move). Although I wouldn’t suggest you depend on that to do all the work for you :stuck_out_tongue:. I’m a big fan of ISHINE over IO though. Used mostly to “balance out” or what users call her “buffer” mixes. Don’t spray as much as you would with ISHINE.

  • IH : Although I don’t think that would be the ideal product for you but if you want, you might want to give a try. IO adds the “quantity” of communication while IH adds on to the “quality”. Ever felt like you have said something out loud and in your head you are like “Why did I just say that?”. Well that’s what IH does for others.

Don’t forget to have fun  ! Start a journal to write your experiences with each product and use the “sweet spot” guide (search  )
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Wow, really welcoming responses. Thanks, guys.

Seems that the route to go is IG for sure, with maybe one of the other I-range to aide it. I’ll let you know how it pans out (though I’ll probably wait until I’m back at Uni before I start really using it).

Merry Christmas, all. I’ll probably be back around the forums when the festivities pass and I have more free time to chat.

Just checked the tracking status and it arrived at the local delivery depot on 24th! Today is a bank holiday (because Boxing Day was a Sunday) so it might not come today, but should definitely be here by tomorrow… in time for New Year’s Eve, which is awesome. I thought with the snow we’ve had in England (and the country falling apart because of it) plus Christmas, and the Monday/Tuesday bank holidays this week, and New Year, that it wouldn’t be here before 2011. Really great news.
