Introductions - New Users, Say "Hello"!

Greetings all, I’m a 40-something female currently living in the Sierras of Northern California. I’m fairly well educated, well traveled and after a really great ‘start’ to life and career, am now finding myself entrenched in the proverbial rut. I’ve done amazing things, lived in amazing places amongst amazing people, yet…I am now finding it difficult to move forward in any meaningful way as I’ve misplaced my drive and my confidence.

I’m a ‘seeker’ and constantly look for research opportunities (personal research at this point, for whatever is ‘floating my boat’ at any given moment). Right now, I’m fascinated by the chemistry of the human body, and how pheromones can ‘play’ with that. I’ve watched many documentaries about pheromones with great interest. I’ve bought two mass-marketed products that I ‘felt’ (thought) added a certain something to my day…a little blue bottle with a glass dropper that turned from an awesome smelling addition to…a very strange smelling potion that deserved only to be thrown away. sigh. I also used a ‘hard parfum’ purported to contain pheromones…and that seemed to get some lovely reactions from men I was dating, but perhaps (likely) it was only the scent.

I’m looking now for a few things here. I want to learn more (and more. And more!). I want to ‘play’ and turn a few more heads. I want to regain the old confidence in management meetings and interviews, and restart the ladder climbing again. Mostly, I suppose I’ve reached a point in my feminine existence where I’m physically at my best…and want to play it up!

In short, it’s time to reinvent, re-introduce and aspire to some serious chemistry! This group looks like just the people to do it with, and these products look to be great new tools for my toolbox. I can’t wait to get to such a place whereby I can knowingly conduct my own successful science experiments with the experimones!

Hey there and welcome!
Im really glad you found the real deal and the best place to learn about and buy pheromones. This place isn’t gimicked and have great products and good prices! For attraction I’d recommend instant sexiness. For you I’d recommend /a because you seem outgoing and more alpha than some, although you could still try em both :slight_smile:

The socials like IO, IH and IS are great too. IO and IH are similar in that they make people more comfortable around you and chatty at times, and can promote bonding and trust. IS is fantastic as it gives off a fun youthful playful vibe that people just love to be around.

Its amazing to find out so many things that we don’t know about the human body, with mones being one of them. It can be a bit overwhelming the research and experiences reported on this forum. Go through the forum, check out the different discussions such as this one:Studies & Abstracts - PheroTalk Pheromone Research Forum to get a better handle of mones. Though, as Astrea mentioned above, Steve O’s Intro to mones is a great primer.

Different companies are selling mones, though, and as you may or may not know, this forum is supported by AD. So, I’d also point you to MHarris’ points on the how and why AD does mones in precise mu dosages and recommends layering mones on your skin… here:

Now, for the ‘personal’ use stuff… I’d suggest you try out IS/b. My wife tells me it gives her a confidence boost and I do feel an increase of that sexy attraction when I’m around her… what can I say, that mone Boosts MY interest!! :smiley:

I also suggest you give Instant Shine a try. In self effects, it gets me a contented feeling, which I call my smile in a bottle. This one is one of my mones that normally is in my daily combo’s now. Others in my IS cloud feel relaxed and comfortable around me. This is a great combo, IS/b and IS, to use!

I’m sorry that nobody else from the company has been able to swing by and welcome you properly and offer you personalized assistance. I’ve been doing my job and Mickaelia’s this week and I guess everybody else was just to busy to help out :frowning:.

:wink: I think 1Alpha’s got a good idea. When I was researching what I wanted to buy; IS/b was suggested for the “strong” personality for a little softening effect. I have a “strong” personality :open_mouth: and lots of guys (especially here in the Pacific Northwest) are taken aback by a fem who is straight up and blunt. Texans, Southerners and East Coasters appreciate this - I, so far, get along with all that I’ve met. I found that the IS/b works great on the local passive/aggressive bullshit and puts delicate sensitivities and egos at ease. This is great - considering I live here! 1Alpha will always wax lyrical about Instant Shine - with good cause! It does tonnes (metric ones, bigger than Imperial/American ones) to make smiles and responses both prolific and genuine. I also have a new personal fave with the IO. :smiley:

I’m so glad to hear about the ‘mellowing’ effect of the ISb…I’m originally from NJ, and although I’ve been out here almost 14 years, I am often reminded (gently, sometimes) how, um…‘direct’ I can be. Plus I’m a bit of a wiseass and some don’t quite know how to take me.

I haven’t any time right now for a meaningful interaction, but did want to say hello and let you all know how much I appreciate all of your feedback!

I’ve met a few people from NJ out here; and most of them stunned by the passive/aggressive bullshit and just looking for a straight clear answer to . . . anything! And you’re in NorCal?! :smiley::smiley: Sorry, that must’ve been hard in the beginning. I’m positive you’re gonna see a big difference once you find your sweet spot. Seriously, check out the journals for how others developed their own processes for this. Also, read the stickies, extremely helpful. I did HOURS of reading the journals; armed with knowledge I made some good progress in a week. :wink:

Since ‘deciding’ to throw myself into a live pheromone experiment the other day, I’ve felt a bit obsessive about the subject matter. In a good way:-) The problem is that I’ve had little to no time yet to really sit and read and process everything yet (guess what I’M up to tonight?!?). There’s so much information here on this site that I’m running all over the virtual place trying to see everything. It’s like Disneyland for the brain…and I want to ride every ride twice!

When I first landed in CA, I was just a few years out of West Africa where I’d been for 3 years in the Peace Corps. At that point, compared to the Ghanaian circuitous logic and total passion for pleasing that resulted in giving whatever answer anyone ‘thought’ that I wanted regardless of truth or data backing it up, everyone out here seemed pretty straightforward. Through the years, however, it’s become more and more apparent to me. I want the facts and I want them now…and I don’t need them surrounded with warm fuzzy hugs. I think I may be growing a bit MORE direct in my line of questioning and potentially impatient. Not a productive direction to be growing in if I intend to to stay out here, so hoping for some tempering! That said, I’m not really an aggressive person in general and when I’m not seeking a particular answer to a question, I can be very docile :slight_smile:

I’m sure that I’ll find the answer tonight as I meander about, but what the hell…I’ll ask it anyway here while it’s on my mind. Why isn’t IS/a available any longer (or perhaps it’s just a temporary deficit in the store)…and if you’ve used both, did you have a much better experience with the IS/b? Before I engaged the brain enough to see ‘unavailable’ written front and center and thought that I’d have to choose between the two, I was having a hard time committing!

Washingtonians are very different to Califunyuns :smiley:. I at least, get the wrap everything up in a hug much better than complete avoidance of a subject for the better part of an hour. On a production line, I got in trouble for being too blunt, for saying ‘no’. I looked at my manager, and asked if she wanted me to waste half an hour sugar coating what was going to be a ‘no’ anyway, and stop the production line. She actually had to think about her answer! :open_mouth:
When I read the description for IS/a, it actually scared me in relation to trying to improve interactions here. Up here, females are all sugar coated until they’re in a relationship - including just dating - and then they turn into screaming Harpies. I’m not kidding. I’ve walked away from “friends” because they’ve turned into bitches and I can’t stand how they treat their SO’s. I despise manufactured drama. I have better things to do than go out for a BBQ and have it end in the host couple (bf and gf) drunk, screaming at each other and saying horrible, spiteful, cruel things. And everyone else ignores it! I’d like to say it only happened once. But that would be a blatant lie. :frowning: My patience wore out with that bullshit 6 months after I got here. I spend a lot of time walking away and googling my answers or just ‘letting it go’. The accusing looks that result with the insistence of an answer really makes me impatient. IO has done a lot for this and teamed with Instant Shine does even more. But they don’t actually change anything but the mood. So, I’m in love with the self effects! Makes it so easy to walk away in a good mood. I also found that this combination here, actually encourages people to want to help. I mean really help. Seattle has a lot of talkers and I’ve yet to meet someone who ‘walks the walk’.

Empath, Alpha and Astrea have given you great suggestions so that’s been taken care of very nicely. :slight_smile: So I’ll try to answer your question as to the whereabouts of IS/A .

OK,the bad news.

Unfortunately things are backed up around here and there are “rolling blackouts” on products, especially the women’s, because of the high cost and unavailability/scarcity of some molecules. There’s been no indication of when/if any/some of these products will be restocked. Instant Sexiness/A has sadly been discontinued. They’ve also announced that many of the other women’s long time favorites that we’ve depended on and come to love, like MX135/235/335, will no longer be available either…because they are onto bigger and better things. On your travels you’ll see posts by John Sebastian, (Operations Manager for AD), addressing this in the women’s forum.

Instant Sexiness/A is TAL based and B is TAH based.The only way to see which one you prefer/would have preferred, depends on how you respond to the self effects and see if you get the response you’re looking for from your “target(s)”. I’m an alpha babe and Instant Sexiness/A is my personality naturally, so NP being congruent with it. So you’d think that would be the one for me. You’d be right, it suits me but only to a point. For me, because I’m already bent that way, it can be too much of a good thing. I can scare people, lol. So, I make sure to use it judiciously and temper it with IH and/or Instant Shine. It might not work this way for everyone, but I associate TAL to Androstenone for women. Another gal may be alpha as well but can wear more IS/A than I can because she’s effected in a more positive way. And other ladies who are less alpha may benefit from the confidence boost, sassyness, provided by IS/A.

Although I use still use IS/A, I usually prefer IS/B in most instances. It does me just fine and I like the way I feel playful, feminine and girly when wearing it. I like the way it smooths out the assertive edges and my husband always responds well to it. :slight_smile:

Pheromones are subjective as to effects and responses. Everyone is different and your results may vary. And that’s the thing you’ll come to find out the more you try them for yourself. As suggested, read as much as you can. The sticky threads at the top of each forum can be especially helpful in answering a lot of your questions right off the bat. Make sure to hit the “How to find your sweet spot” sticky while you’re at it. :wink:
