After knowing about pheromones for quite a while.. I think this is a good time in my life to finally give them a try. I’m pretty hesitant, but curiosity always beats caution in my case. This is gonna be a long post… sorry!..
As for me… I’m only 19, but am (unfortunately) a little bit ahead of myself in life experience. Particularly with males, so sex is not the first thing on my list of priorities at the moment. I’m a full-time college student in California, although I’m only taking a couple of classes this summer. I’ve always been very introverted and fairly shy around new people, but I’ve never had a problem finding a boyfriend. However, jumping from boyfriend to boyfriend has left me seriously lacking in the quality friend department. I have moderate social anxiety (I’ve tried the medical route–not interested in that anymore). So my problem is that I really would like to make some great new friends, but am too shy/afraid to approach new people. Frankly, I have no idea how to do it. Once conversation gets going, I’m OK, just awkward. I’ve also recently just finally broken free from a long and messy breakup after an unhealthy relationship. Nothing too crazy, but my self esteem has taken a major hit.
What I need as far as a product is something to encourage people to approach me (I’ll try to keep a smile on my face too!) and help me tone down the awkwardness and insecurity. I’ll mostly be using this in a school (college, in case you skipped ahead) setting. I want friends and maybe some casual dates. And who doesn’t like an admirer or two? lol!
From reading these forums, it seems like Instant Openness is what I’m looking for, or maybe Instant Shine (hope I got that name right!). I’m not quite sure. I’d like to start with one or maaaybe two products, and I look forward to your suggestions.

To help make you more approachable, Instant Openness and/or Instant Shine should do the trick. Instant Openness is a great ice breaker and encourages people to be more chatty around you. Instant Shine will give both your mood and the moods of those around you a nice boost, and give you a positive vibe that people want to be around.
For attracting men, there is a choice between Instant Sexiness/a and Instant Sexiness/b. With IS/a, you will give off a strong, sexy alpha-female vibe, while IS/b will have you perceieved as soft, kittenish sexy. I personally like them both, depending on my mood.

SK gave you a lot of good advice on products. The only other thing I would really tell you is to do a lot of reading the sticky section of the womens forum to get a handle on things.
I would also read the first thread in my signature block to see what you can really expect. A lot of the hits can be very subtle. And always remember that the pheros will not do the work for you. They just help you do whatever it is you are doing.

I think you’re on the right track with instant openness and instant shine. I think Is/a would serve you better than Is/b right now as it sounds like you’re vulnerable enough atm.
I would also recommend instant honesty and cttm2. Cttm2 more in the long run as its a bit strong to start with and a pre-release.
Instant honesty is good for social too and mixes really well with instant openness cttm2 is pretty much a meld of the two products but I think its good to try them individually first so you can see how they work for you personally.
I prefer instant honesty over instant openness the sort of chat it generates suits my personality more and is really good among friends and with my boyfriend.

IShine and IO are some great first steps. If I were you, I’d grab a 2 or 4X
of both. I also sense you’d dig MX135. That mix makes you feel flitty and girly and fun, and it is really magical when you’re having a bit of social anxiety. (Dude, trust me on this one. A swig of MX135 under my nose turned me into this social supergirl, in a context where moments before, I was pretty petrified.)
Oh, to answer your Q, both IO and Shine are defaultly scented with Neroli. If you like a musky citrus, you’ll like it. It’s really light, too, so you can layer your own fragrances if need be.

So… I changed my mind at the last second! I ordered the 2x Instant Openness and the MX135. I know the MX is meant for experienced users, but I’d read too many wonderful experiences with MX135 on the ladies forum! Plus it meant that I could afford the double strength.

Instant Openness is one of the ones that has the most obvious effects, people just start talking about random stuff, its actually pretty funny. And Instant Shine also has immediate effects, it could also be called “Instant Cheerfulness”, lol.
