Dear friends and fellow posters,

I 've never got such a warm welcome to any forum community,
so I just feel very comfortable here as a complete newbie.
Thank you, Steve, Jasmin, Mickaelia …

As you can see from my profile,
I 'm a male biologist in the age of 58.

But I 'm very new to pheros.
I just had some doubtful self-experiences
with some doubtful products
from a doubtful shop in Germany.

Then I read a posting from a generally very well informed poster
in some other German forum community ( not about pheros )
who stated,
that the only reliable phero company in the world
is Androtics.

And that 's why I am here.

Although I am eager to buy some standard products here,
I still hesitate because I fear one thing:

customs problems

Some 8 years ago,
I ordered about ten bags (1 or 2 USDollars each) of cacti seeds
from a cactus farmer in the U.S.
But instead of getting them,
I received a letter from the Austrian customs office, and I had to go there.
They told me that I have to go to the capital of Austria
(Vienna, far away from me)
to an other customs office
in order to get an import licence
for every single one of those ridiculous seed bags.
And every single one of these licences was more than 10 Dollars!

Nota bene:
These cacti were not from any species,
which are protected as endangered species by the Washington Treaty,
but they were very common cacti species in the US.
Nore were they collected from the wild,
but grown by a professional cactus farmer in the US.
And they had nothing to do with those cacti,
which some people use for drug purposes.

So at this point I decided to stop the bargain
and I told the customs officers to send the seeds back,
regretfully :frowning:

Now, when I 'm going to order pheros from the US,
what do I have to expect from the customs authorities ?

Will they suspect drugs ?
Or explosives ?
Forbidden substances ?
Poison ?
Biological weapons ?
…

Please try to understand me:

I definitely do not want to have that same monkey theatre again !

So what is your opinion ?

How big is the chance
that the items will get through the customs to my house
without requiring my interference ?

Welcome to the forum.

I hope you are able to solve the customs puzzle. When you do, you may want to get an assortment of all the commercial products. Most are available in small to-go sizes that are great for testing effects. If you have budget limitations getting the smaller sizes allows you to test more products to find the ones that work well for achieving the effects you want.

Hey there,

I don’t know what will happen with regards to your customs situation. Australian customs can be pretty tough but I’ve had no problems. Perhaps make a small order with your rewards points and see what happens? They get sent by DHL, who seem to be good at getting things to pass through customs quickly. At least that’s what I have found.

I think you won’t have any problems.Customs regulations should be all the same trough the EU so as I didn’t have any problems so should you.Seeds are something else.Pheromones are , as far as I know not forbiden so it should be like ordering parfumes.Though the overall price whitch is paid for the products should be lower than some limit as not to pay additional import charges.That the limit is around 150 euro when receaving package from company and 50 euro when the package is from private individual.Hope you have your products without complications and wish you all the best.

I ordered the products online from Androtics on Monday,
and exactly two days later, on Wednesday, they arrived at my door -

  • fantastic !

I never thought shipping from U.S.A. can be so simple and fast :slight_smile:

Now it’s on me to try the pheros -

I am more the sort of guy that tests only a few products, but thoroughly.

So I ordered A314, IO, TUTH, and Instant Shine.

As the order was more than 200 $,
Androtics added to-go bottles of Instant Gentleman and Spaceland as a gift.

Shipping and customs were not of a problem.

Now I’m going to test them,
but this will take some time,
because for me there are just about two testing occasions per week,
and as I said, I do it thoroughly :wink:

Of course, when time has come,
I will report my results here in this marvellous forum :slight_smile:

I’m glad that I was able to help you with advice.Generally all the customs’ regulations are the same in the EU so as I expected - no problems.:slight_smile:
Wish you nice time testing the products and have us updated of your resurch especially because you are biologist and pheromones are part of the science.Well we humans are not insects and pheromones do not have 100% control of our behaviour but they are still present and have some influence.So for it will be verry interresting to read some of you reviews of the pheros.

I payed it in already with my order,
everything worked perfectly,
two days after my order the products were already at my door -

  • from U.S.A. to Austria !

That means:

Faster than from Austria to Austria, DHL is great :slight_smile:
