Yes, overcoming your shyness will probably be pretty important in the next few years. Don’t worry if it takes a while, we all have to develop certain aspects of our personality in some ways and that can be at any age.

Too much none can make you seem overly horny/agressive and a large proportion of girls your age are very liable to be put off by it - their tolerance rises as they age.
