Hello! My name is Andrew. I am a 22 year old male from south of Pittsburgh. I’m pretty fresh (4 months) out of a 4 year relationship; the end of that has been pretty hard on me, and I’m in the process of finally starting to try to meet new girls and whatnot.
In general, I’ve never had to go through the whole meeting new people/dating stuff. The relationships I’ve had in the past were with girls that sort of fell into my lap and they’ve lasted a long time. (3 years before the 4 year one, and before that I was just a tot!) As a result, trying to strike up conversations, date, and whatever else with women I don’t know is incredibly new to me. I hoping to learn a little bit about pheromones and how to best use them to give me a little leg up on the competition!
I’m a really outgoing, personable, and confident person and I like to think I’m pretty good looking, so the fact that I’ve been having a hard time getting with women is puzzling to me. Maybe I’m a little overzealous? Not really sure. I’ve never really been the one-night stand sort of guy, but I mostly meet women in bars because, well, there are only so many in class and at work. At this point, I feel like I want a relationship, though I’m not opposed to a few trysts to get my feet wet again! I expect my strong personality makes a difference when deciding which fragrances will work for me.
I’ll admit I’m a little skeptical. It’s always been my view that the reason pheromones work is because of a placebo effect that translates through increased confidence, and we all know that women (and men) love confidence. I’m willing to give them a shot, though. What does everyone think about this placebo effect? What fragrances should I try? How about combinations?
Welcome to the forum, Andrew! It sounds like you don’t have a problem being open and social. You just need to work on refining how you act around women to get them interested in you. A good product for attraction is Ammo, and it can be worn in most social situations (I’d say be careful wearing it to work or something, but other than that, you should be fine.) You might also try Instant Openness or Instant Honesty, which could get the ball rolling in a meaningful and interesting conversation, which a lot of people love. As for the placebo effect, I’m sure at least a tiny part of the experience comes just from the increased confidence along with the fact that you’re actively looking for hits, but there is a large number of different molecules, each of which has its own characteristics and effects. I feel there is too much consistency between observed results, both between different individuals testing specific molecules or mixes, and across the spectrum of molecules. Some of these consistent results are negative, such as ghosting, which is where you apply too much of certain molecules in the wrong context, and people basically avoid you and act as if you don’t exist. Another negative effect that sometimes occurs is increased aggression in both yourself and other males when wearing lots of androstenone, or a depressed feeling when wearing too much androstadienone in guys. These don’t get talked about as much as the hyped sexual attraction that you see in most advertisements, and yet people new to the products still come in and report feeling sad or getting in fights. If it were only a placebo effect at work, and if that placebo effect had a tendency to make you more confident about yourself, you wouldn’t expect such consistent effects that deviate from that scenario. There are some molecules in the P series that can demasculinize the most alpha male around. So, I honestly think there is more than a placebo effect at work here. Sorry to hear about your latest relationship not working out. But from the sounds of it, if your past is any idnication of the future, something new and great is probably right along the corner.
I know this does not fit in with your real question, but I might really look at your last two relationships and see any patterns and what might have gone wrong. Those women obviously thought you were a serious “keeper” based on how long they stuck around. Good news is that I am sure more women will also.
