I’m a male undergraduate attending a small college in Massachusetts. So pheromones will usually be used to increase mood (stress from school and cold weather half the year…) and increase quality of social interactions, both sexual and non sexual. I actually found this forum through PUA forums and I’ve soaked up some information since. I’m introverted, but I can hold my own in a social environment. I’m pretty good at keeping a conversation going by turning attention back to whoever I’m talking to. I was very shy even back in my early HS years, but it’s gotten much better.
Because I want to lighten up my mood and “potentiate” social interactions, it’s important to note the size of my college and race. The student population is less than 2500, so first impressions are pretty important with everyone. Also, I’m asian which is kind of confusing in a way since I’ve read a few posts on the board that both asian males and females tend to have different pheromone production and attraction. Race isn’t a factor at all in either form of relationships, but there are more caucasian girls around and I am keeping an eye on this one asian girl. The asian is more sexually conservative while the caucasians are moderately conservative due to the smaller student population.
The advice I think I’ve seen the most is to start off with the “staple” products. I admit almost all of them seem enticing, but I won’t be able to buy everything at once. Here are some of my thoughts:
IS - Seems like a core part of any mix. I’ll be in a better mood and so will the people I talk to.
IH - Good for people to trust me more. I think this will be very helpful simply because the community is so small that I see most of my friends frequently as well as the same strangers over and over.
IO - A little more skeptical about this. Seems like people have been unable to stop saying/texting certain things that shouldn’t have been said or need not to have been said.
IG - Given that social life here can seem to be dominated by football and lacrosse players, this might earn me some more respect among them. Though the general increase in respect among my peers and profs is reason enough.
IJ - Less attracted to this. I’m not really fond of jerks, whom I compare to arrogant jocks or prepsters, but it seems to do wonders for some people.
Ammo - I’m not sure about this one yet. People seem to get mixed reactions, but that’s to be expected for any product.
TUTH - College student. Need I say more? I’m just worried about ODing since I’m young, but I’m also asian so…
A314 - I think this would be perfect for job/internship interviews. Not sure about parties among college students though.
*Note that the parties here are usually held in medium sized rooms. I would say 1/4-1/2 the size of a basketball court. Dance parties are usually have the surface area of 1-1.5 basketball courts.
I also want some help cologne pairing after choosing my -nones and socials. I have…
Bulgari pour Homme - Fresher scent
Bulgari pour Homme Soir - Darker tone to the above
Givenchi Play - Dark tone again
Dior Homme - More of a romantic scent
I’ve tried Cool Water, but it eventually turns into an urine-y smell for me. I didn’t ask others for feedback. Still, I wouldn’t mind a -none or social that has that initial cool smell. Given this, I’ve read that some people are turned off by Neroli and others prefer Akuto. It’ll be warmer up here in MA soon, but not by much. I think we peaked in the 70s late summer/early fall, and it’s still sub 40s right now.
One last thing. Is it possible to request which sample I want? I’ve read around and it seems as if a lot of people get a to go sample with their orders. If it is, I can just buy one less item and request the last one.
Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
