Hi everyone, I’ve been lurking the forums for a while, just decided to sign up. My name’s Mitch and I just moved to PA about a week ago. I’m a 21 yr old male. I’m primarily interested in pheros for “social lubrication” and maybe some extra confidence. I’m sure I’ll end up buying some more sexual ones down the line but at the moment I’m looking more at things like “instant openness/shine/honesty”
My first purchase will probably be A314 since that gets such rave reviews around here, and it seems like it would be a good base to work my other pheros around. I like the idea of something that will help with some alpha/respect mentality at work etc. I’ve read a decent amount about the “named” formulas, but are there any of the expiremental ones that would make a good choice for someone in my situation? Look forward to hearing from the experts here.
Instant Openness, Instant Shine, Instant Honesty, and A314 are all great products. One thing to keep in mind thought that A314 is not a social product and in many instances can actually hinder socialization because it can be intimidating and even standoffish. The effects can also be very subtle and difficult to detect for new users. For that reason you may want to consider trying Instant Gentleman first. It has some of the same effects but is much more approachable and social.
In terms of the experimental molecules, it is recommended that you try the entire instant line and get a grasp of them before you start testing putatives, MXs, etc. They are after all experimental and they do not have a defined effect like the consumer or “named” products. You will have a much easier time seeing how they work and what they do for you if you build up a background with products like Instant Shine and Instant Openness first.
Appreciate the response. I was looking at A314 for the sort of “in charge, respectable” vibe, because I think it would help my confidence. I would mostly be using it at work and for other similar situations. I would then be adding something else on top for social situations to help with social interactions. I’d like to know especially which pheros will affect ME when I wear them, not just the people around me. I’m thinking mostly of the “instant” line, but I’ve heard especially that IS will help lift my mood and make me feel more outgoing. I’m new to this so please feel free to correct me if any of these assumptions are wrong. Many thanks.
If you are going to get A314 for work I would really recommend also getting Instant Honesty to go with it. A314 can come across so strong that your coworkers who are not very confident will give you a lot of what I call “respect distance” - a lot of room. This can also apply to clients and both ways cut down on communication that you need to suceed.
Applying the Instant Honesty helps drop that barrier. They “in cahrge” vibe comes through but people still feel connected to you. I use IH at 4x strength but you might want to start lower at first just to test thresholds.
The other thing you need to remember is that if you are going to give off the “in charge” vibe with A314 you have to act in charge It is called congruence. Renny started a great thread on that subect. Look it up. What that means in a nutshell is that you have to behave like the signal you pheros are giving off for the “phero boost” to really work - esp. with A314. In other words if you act passively wearing the A314 your behavior will override the phero signature and people will come back quickly to treating you like you are passive. However if you act like you are in charge giving off that vibe, well then. It should work. Just remember - competance trumps all in the end.
The other thing to remeber is that some coworkers esp. male may not like the new you. Just be ready for that one guy who may act like a jerk and try to put you in the place he thinks you should inhabit. Do NOT back down from him. If nothing else, say nothing, give him a disdainful look and a small snort as if he is something you just accidentally stepped in.
