Hello there,
Welcome to the community.
Like the 2 gentlemen said, tell us more about yourself, your purpose of trying pheromones and who are your targets.
Then we can give you some recommendations and you will also earn the gift certificate.
Cheers
Hey everybody! Thanks for all the warm welcomes! A little about me: I’m 30 (-ish), not married. I’m a graduate student living in Boston. I tend to have a pretty friendly and confident personality, and I’m looking for a couple of things in terms of using pheromones. First, my field is pretty “male-dominated,” and not to brag but I’m a very young-looking thirty year old, so I would like to experiment with scents that would give me more of a “presence” among my colleagues, both male and female. At this point in my life, looking really youthful isn’t the cake at work that it is when I’m at parties.
Also, I’m very much a straight girl, but for some reason all of my really close friends tend to be men, and I tend to gravitate to men for friendship in general. Not sure why that would be, but the result is that I tend to make good male friends who think I’m attractive, but aren’t necessarily into me for relationships. Maybe you guys could give me some tips on that. I seem to relate to men in a way that makes them see me as a female friend they’d probably sleep with but I don’t get guys pursuing me for relationships very often. Does this make sense? I’d love any analysis/advice/input you guys could give me on this! Like, what am I missing or doing wrong/weirdly?
Oh, honey, I sympathize. I grew up with only brothers, and from then on my friends have been primarily male. I have a hard time making connections with women that have lasting value.
I get it that the guys see you as potential for mating but not for a mate. That is a hard hurdle to get over. Sometimes it is necessary to step back and take a hard look at your interactions with the guys. It is too easy to become ‘one of the guys.’ They need to be reminded that you are a woman. Emphasis on woman.
You really should try Instant Sexiness. What type you get will depend on your own personality and what qualities you want to highlight. Version A is strong, confident, very womanly type of sexy. Version B is a softer, more playful, girly type of sexy.
The first time I wore this I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised when one of my guy friends reacted strongly. He payed attention in a totally different way, lots of eye contact, respectful attention, very intent. His breathing changed and his face flushed. He was very attracted to the signal the pheros were putting out. He didn’t step over any of the social boundaries between us, and remained respectful and gentlemanly, but it was obvious that there was a sexual tension there that hadn’t been before.
Instant Shine will give you a little glow, make you feel more fun and confident and make people glad to be near you.
Instant Honesty helps along those more intimate conversations that relationships are built on. Extends a feeling of trust.
Glad you’re here, hope you have fun.
Thanks so much moonwhisperer; I like how you put it: “potential for mating but not for a mate.” That’s exactly what it feels like sometimes. Maybe it’s because I grew up in a similar situation as you - no siblings but an extended family with lots and lots of male cousins. I am not sure which IS to choose: I’m leaning toward version “A” because of the “womanly” aspect as opposed to “girly.” As I get older, I’m trying to de-emphasize the girly somewhat! But then I thought that maybe the girlier stuff might “soften” me somewhat and make me seem more feminine? Or am I misunderstanding how it works?
The problem with describing products to newbies is that everyone wears them a little differently. Sometimes the effect you get from a product is going to be different from what I experience. The Instant line has been well tested and proven to give reliable results. But everyone’s chemistry is a little different and will mix differently with the pheros.
When I wear IS/a, I get a confident sexiness, it makes me want to strut. I do not have the same inhibitions and concerns that I do without the phero, because it makes me feel sexier. I don’t worry so much about what others think, don’t have as much trouble expressing what I want, and because of that I actually am sexier to guys. It is a confidence builder, that’s for sure. And I’d wear it just for the self-effects.
When I said womanly instead of girly, that might not have been completely fair. It is a description of my reactions to the pheros. It may be that you will wear it differently than I did. So take it all with a grain of salt.
One of the things we talk about here is congruence. What it means, basically, is matching your attitude and behavior to the signal that the pheros are sending out. For instance, Instant Openness invites people to talk to you. If you’re wearing IO and sitting in a corner refusing to converse, that is not congruent. So whatever you choose, it is important to pick something you can be congruent to, otherwise you will be sending out confusing signals that will make people draw back from you.
If you feel that you are more playfully, demurely sexy, then pick IS/b.
If you feel that you are more dominantly, seductress sexy, then pick IS/a
Better yet, get both in to-go sizes with your GC and test them out. See what you like.
Welcome to Pherotalk Chika!
I am struggling with the same situation myself or should I say struggled with the same situation. When we become too friendly and open with the guys especially too soon they see us as being a great friend and mate but the challenge and chase goes away.
We make it too easy for them and they feel like less of men especially if we are well accomplished. Moonwhisper gave you some great advice and with that I just want to add that you need to withhold from them a bit more emotionally, if you would hang out 3 times a week, make it once and go out with someone else.
My mom always use to say don’t put your eggs in one basket. If they feel they have you even if they don’t they will take you for granted.
Hope this helps to clear up a few things.
Your GC was already issued!
