I recently finished a messy divorce that was frankly very tough and left me with a lot of work to do, wood to chop etc. The last few years of the marriage were awful and led to depression, loss of confidence and packing on about 50 lbs.
Since the finalization, I’ve hit the gym pretty hard (3 times a week a personal trainer, 1 time a week with a pilates trainer and 6 1 hour+ cardio sessions), changed my eating habits and have dropped about 44 lbs and I’m starting to approach what I looked like in college/grad school.
I have also started rebuilding my game and started dating again. While dates are not hard to come by now, my conversion rate isn’t what it was in my younger days.
Just looking for a little bit of an edge to make things just a touch easier as I ease back into things and complete the rebuild. Most of my situations are 1 to 1 encounters at a bar or restaurant – not much of club scene type.
