Hello,
I’ll start with the vitals: Caucasian, male, 50, fit, in a long-term monogamous relationship, two kids, both girls ( women, actually, one being 30, and the other 20). Working at my fourth career, a P.E. instructor at a community college up here in Idaho, where I specialize in teaching Tai Chi Chuan to the younger students, and Tai Chi Yang Shen ( nourishing life) for senior citizens.
And just to make sure that there are no misunderstandings about my apelido (pseudonym), I am a tantric practitioner, but not in the commonly excepted Western sense. In our culture, tantra is generally associated with sexual practices; however, in India and Tibet, tantric practices are any that focus on the cultivation and employment of subtle energies in the mind and body to enhance consciousness. The sexual practices of tantra are typically reserved for a select few that show no hedonistic or sensualist predilections (definitely leaves me out
). Since I do practice arts such as Tai Chi Chuan and Nei Gong that focus on subtle energy, I am, ergo, a tantric practitioner. As for sex, I’ve found the Daoist practices and philosophy to be more sustainable ( no need to see a chiropractor afterwards, and very sensible advice regarding the differences between what women and men need from sex in order to stay happy & healthy). Finally, the 88 in my apelido has nothing to do with any racist nonsense, but is a personal signifier.
So I have quite an interest in self-cultivation, or as Maslow put it, self-actualization, and have experimented with a number of different practices, substances, sounds, etc. The closest to ‘mones that I’ve come in the past was essential oils, which I found to have some effects ( my partner is still fond of using lavender oil when she wants a ‘special’ time, rather than just some sex, and it does seem to produce a different mood). Primarily I’m interested in enhancing social interactions with the ‘mones, perhaps using Shine before teaching classes for example. So, a couple of questions:
-
What would be good for enhancing interaction with men? ( I generally do well with women, not so well with men, hangover from my childhood I suppose, as Dad was a bit of a prick).
-
Although I am in a monogamous relationship, and intend to stay there, I love to flirt with women ( no students, in the tradition I follow, it is forbidden for people like me to have any kind of carnal relationship with students). Harmless flirting ( the kind that does not lead to motel rooms, private detectives, and expensive lawyers) really makes my day, and I know from observation and discussion that a lot of women really get off on it also. So what would folks suggest to enhance flirting without going over the line?
Thanx in advance for any advice.
