It’s the summer so most of the socializing for me is going to be done near pools and lakes. How do the sprays hold up against water? And water with chlorine? It’d be hard to just avoid getting in the water without akwardness.
i went into a cuzi with pheros and put a little extra on to compensate if any was lost, and it seemed that it all got absorbed to the water making the cuzi the new catalist. the good is that i didnt have to stand 2" away from a chick for the affects to hit her but the bad is that its not you with the powerz anymore lol she didnt want to leave the cuzi
im thinking any oils might stand a better chance or spraying on your hair works well, 2 sprays of shin and 1 amoo in the hair got me some good results and when you scruff your hair you increase intensity of smell to your comand kinda like a scrach and sniff
Oh that’s an interesting option
The hair thng might work for the lake, but I wonder what effect the chlorine of a pool would have on the pheromones.
Keep in mind that alcohol evaporates just above room temperature (which is why when you open a bottle of vodka that’s room temp you get hit with the fumes).
So the jacuzzi will pretty much evaporate whatever you’re wearing.
As for water - well of course constant exposure to water will wash it off. Some molecules will hang around though like Androstenone.
Would there still be noticable effects?
If I had to guess I’d say no.
Couple of reasons. First yes the water will wash most of the mones off of your skin.
Second, the water in a jacuzzi tends to be quite hot which means the mones will waft up with the steam and be carried away. Think about how much fluid is in a single spray of pheromones, now think about how much liquid is evaporated from a hot tub in just 60 seconds.
In fact even if you apply the mones high up on your neck and never go lower than your chest into the water you have to consider that by being chest deep in the jacuzzi that you have a water based heat source just inches from your application points. Where do heat and steam go? straight up.
I’d bet that any mones diffusing off of your skin would be picked up by the heat and moisture emanating from the jacuzzi and carrier straight up before they can extend OUT laterally to effect anyone in the tub with you.
You’ll get little in the way of noticeable effects if you put the mones on your body where it will get wet. Case in point…I go to this amazing Japanese shiatsu place near me and they have a real nice jacuzzi to get loosened up in ahead of time. I did a test a couple of times. You can probably guess where this is going.PS. My massage person is is a lady, and she is fantastic. So anyway, when I go into the hot tub, I don’t see any real effects from the pheros, but when I go right to the massage, I’ve seen deer in headlights, I’ve had come-ons, I’ve had “what the hell are you doing to me looks… and many others that I won’t mention here. There is definitely a watering down of what you put on when you go into a jacuzzi. Personally, I think it becomes a complete waste of cashola when you put 15 bucks of stuff on and then dissolve it in chlorine/bromine and hot water.
Don’t waste your time.
Chlorine will get rid of it, and with the lake its possible but if its windy conditions, your sillage isn’t the best out there unfortunately. Even in your hair, it’s hard when you’re in a lake setting, now for a hot tub/jacuzzi, hair would be fine IMO just as long as you don’t get it wet, just be careful with Androstenone products as they MAY cause buildup, I’ve heard both sides of pro and con so just base it on a couple of tests, start low and work your way up
are you guys serious? there’s heat, chlorine and a bazillion gallons of water. if pheromones don’t survive a shower with soap, why would you think they’d survive in a pool or jacuzzi?
just buy/bring to-go bottles and reapply.
This - Save the mones for socialising away from the pool. ![]()
Just like your natural mones, water will wash it away. Even most of the anone will wash off. Oils will wash away as well.
Chlorine with totally wash them away instantly.
Steam or exteme heat will cause rapid diffusion.
When I go to the beach I dont bother with mones so much. I do have some in my suntan lotion because I always reapply that when I get out of the water which is habit and no one knows I am applying mones at the same time.
Tisha
Hmm maybe reapplying to go bottles when I get out mght work, I just need to figure out a way to make it not so obvious

People are merely making recommendations. But as I’ve advised - the temperature in a jacuzzi is not friendly to alcohol and water obviously will rinse off everything. Don’t forget the chemicals.
As for a lake, there’s still water and if its a lake in some places also chemicals. ![]()
Why?
People touch up their cologne when they are out all of the time.
I also assume wherever you are will have a bathroom. ![]()
Not all of them..
IF combined with Oil-base it may survive .. but the question will the effect be the same ?
Enone is very sticky.. I m thinking of putting baby oil then applying Enone..
Leaving the rest of experiment to you ![]()
But worrying about your cologne while at the poolor lake might be seen as a little strange.
I think there are much false statements in the room! I will not ask on what scientific background it is grounded but let me tell you something:
1.) Mones are mostly steroids! Steroids are lipophile (fat/oil loving) and hydrophob (not water solutable) molecules! So they should stay on the skin if you are in a clean water without emulgators like soap, shampoo or something else!
2.) The reason they wash of in a shower is the soap, it works like bridge between oils and water unsolutable substances (mones) and so you wash them of!
But everything is right here who says that it is a bad idea to wear mones in a whirlpool because the use of it will be about zero! Because the mones could not evaporate anymore because the boiling point of water (100°C) ist much lover than the boilingpoint from steroids! But everybody who dries clothes knows they will dry also at lower temperatures! But the lowest will evaporat first! There will also be something about aceotropic behaviour but I don’t want to go to deep!
Actually the Heat could Thin the Oil and This Allow it to Wash Off… Just Saying… Still Pointless to Wear it in the Water…
