So how long can these bottled potions of attraction last on the shelf, especially once they’ve been opened and used a few times?

I would first say that when purchasing to aim for things you will use in a 3 year period. Unscented pheromones have been tested by a pro lab at 3 years with 0% degradation.
Several companies usually suggest 5 years so long as you store them away from heat and direct light limiting the potential chemical reactions at room temperature. Alcohol can react more then oil…

With that said I recently picked up a collection of pheromones from my ex-wife that has product as old as 2008 in temp controlled storage and work fine overall on the pheromone side. The rubber dropper tops can evaporate or melt or degrade. Some scents can degrade with things like citrus or herbal scents maybe a few years, while others like resins apparently last hundreds of years…

I’ve still got pheros from back in 2009 that are still good - dark, room temp storage is what you need. Personally I store my pheros in airtight boxes to limit any propensity for evaporation.

Only ever had a couple of items go-off with age and neither were AD products. One was an oil, maybe 80% used and the remains in the bottle went off, the other, a lighter oil/alcohol carrier about 75% full went cloudy after about eighteen months and by two years had developed that sour/sweaty smell that identifies failing pheros.

Of the AD products I’ve had, one or two sprays have gone a straw-brown colour after a couple of years but still smelled good and remained fully usable (aged MX297 anyone! :slight_smile: ) plus I have an impressive collection of long-gone A314 Revs that are still as good as the day I got them. :smiley:

Mobo do you have A314 Royale and want to sell? I yould buy at least a bottle of that.For me was not gold, beyond gold.Please tell how i can still buy that.

Sorry, all my Royale went back for exchange to Rev32.

Contacting AD directly to see if they might have any stashed would be the only suggestion I could make.
