Some races have almost no body hair outside of their heads. My Thai GF only had 3 or 4 poobs and no pit or leg hair whatsoever (no shaving or removal–all natural).
I’m more curious about the quantity of natural pheromones of an average man vs a spray/droplet. For example, could 1 spray be 1 day of natural production?
Is Human Ovulation Concealed? Evidence From Conception Beliefs in a Hunter-Gatherer Society

My anecdotal opinion is that yes, ovulation is a signal that most of the women I’ve met try to hide (either consciously or unconsciously).
Women dress more revealingly when ovulating[1] and their skin tone and scent changes. I have a sensitive eye/nose for these things and used to be able to detect at what part of her cycle a girl was. It was a infamous party-trick of mine: I won’t go into too much detail here but it involves sniffing the nape of the neck as well as closely watching skin-tone and posture over time.
In most cases I got it right (over 70% I’d say). If you know what to look for, it’s obvious: some girls more than others. But it does take practice.

Wow that’s really interesting.
What are you supposed to look for? What kind of smell, skin-tone and posture give it away?
And do you ask the girl if you can smell her neck or do you just get close enough so you can?
You WILL be able to work it out for yourself if you pay attention. The important thing is to establish a baseline, if you spend enough time with girls you’ll work out when a period starts (moodiness, bailing out of physical activities, complaining of cramps/ache, taking bag to the rest-room when it usually doesn’t happen, dressing for comfort rather than visual effect, etc) and so on… it’s not rocket science. Once you’ve established this anchor point then approximately 12-16 days from then you’ll notice some changes in behavior and appearance, this is where you need to pay attention. Those changes should be clear once you’re looking out for them: the changes might include skin-tone changes (specifically the color of cheeks, throat) and the hormone changes can also change the appearance of skin texture, making it look smoother. Posture will be more ‘open’, generally standing up straighter with chest out.
The smell is simple. Ovulating girls smell like a woman to me, it’s hard to describe any other way. Not sexual, but definitely feminine. Getting to smell their neck has to be part of a game. Before I became aware of my party-trick of guessing ovulation (and became slightly infamous because of it) I used to practice by pretending to guess age by sniffing the nape of the neck. It was just a game, but the differences in scent were noticeable. The trick was to guess the age wrongly every time (otherwise you wouldn’t be able to have another go a week or two later). Eventually you’ll notice “hold on, this smells more… interesting than last time”. ![]()
Finally, and this is almost too obvious to state, ovulating girls act differently around boys. Spend enough time being a slightly-detached observer in a social group and the behavioral changes become clear as day.
Life’s a game. Pay attention and it becomes fun. Good luck.
You must live in an area where oral contraception isn’t too popular. Everybody on the friggen pill…
Yeah, that kind of screws things up. There’s no ovulation ergo there’s nothing significant to detect.
I can still detect some changes (and there certainly are cyclical mood changes even on the pill) but they’re much more subtle and to be honest, I probably miss most of the cues. The presence of a different but continuing hormonal cycle even when on the pill means that something might be noticeable.Ovulatory cycle effects on tip earnings by lap dancers:

Exactly how long does ovulation last?
Well I googled it and I was still unclear on that so I just asked here. From the articles it sounded like ovulation only lasts 24-48 hours after about 14 days in the cycle. (Assuming a 28 day cycle.) One article even said the ovulation cycle was as short as 12-24 hours.
But then I asked a girl and she said ovulation lasts 4-6 days after the 14th day in the cycle.
So I guess a better question is, how large is the time window where one can detect ovulation from physical observations? Is it only noticeable in a 12-48 hour window? Or for up to 4-6 days?
That one. Sometimes longer.
It’s not a science, it’s an art. If you’re looking for hard numbers for something so organic, human and ephemeral, you’ll never spot something as subtle as ovulation.
Start looking, stop counting.
BTW: It depends on the type of pill the girl is taking. With progestin-only pills they might still ovulate about 50% of the time (but the thickening of the lining and other effects of the pill will prevent fertilization).
I’ve said it in another post but it’s worth repeating: girls on the pill will still exhibit hormonal (and hence moodiness/fertility-feeling) cycles.
Oom.
