The dictionary definition of mcg
“In the metric system, a microgram is 1/1,000,000 of a gram, or 1/1000 of a miligram, is one of the smallest units of weight/mass commonly used. Abbreviated μg in scientific literature, or sometimes mcg (e.g. in vitamin potency).”
The content for: IS, IO, IH, instant jerk, is Total pheromone per spray: 15mcg (+/- 5%) Total pheromone content per bottle: 3000 mcg (30ml bottle)
TUTH is 2.5mcg per spray so by the above maths 500mcg per 30ml bottle
Amunition is Total pheromone per spray: 7.5mcg (+/- 5%) with just 2.5mcg of androstenone making it very easy to use. Total pheromone content per bottle: 1500 mcg
Hence there is 1mg of pheromones per 10ml. Ive purchased from another company bottles of pure: none, A&B-nol and rone that contain 1mg of pheromones per ml of alcohol (They claim this is normal commercial strength).
By the above formula of 200 sprays per 30ml = 6 sprays per ml (assuming similar spray size).
1mg/6= 166mcg per spray which means their none is 10 times stronger than instant jerk and their nol is 10 times stronger than IH and IO.
Either means that:
A)My maths is wrong.
B)Another company is selling products several times too strong. I dont think so as I can smell the none but only a little and I dont get overdose reactions. Then again my sense of smell isnt particularly strong and im not very experienced with pheromones.
C)androtics is for convenience using MCG to reffer to 1/10th of a mg not the dictionary definition of 1/1000th of a mg. Seems the most likely explanation
D)The other company is lying about the pheromone content of their products. I wouldnt find that hard to beleive with most of the sleazy websites selling pheromones but this is a chemical supply company selling many other products. I am not going to say which because I dont want to give the impression I am affiliated.
When you refer to a chemset pheromone product, it is not sold for application at that strength, but so you can mix it down to your desired strength. Incidentally, they doubled the strength of IH and IO so those are probably 30ug now instead of 15ug.
Even a single small drop (if we assume 50 drops per ml, which is rather small) of -none at 1mg/ml would be 20ug which would be massive OD for just about anyone, probably even most Asians who have a higher tolerance.
Chemset pheromones are for those who know what the effects are and are more familiar with them and perhaps want to even customize things a bit more. Not advisable unless you have a lot of experience.
Lol I thought they where working well. On sat I did a great street pickup on about 150mcg of none, rone and a-nol. On tuesday I hung out with my cousin on 300mcg of a-nol and as much b-nol and we giggled all evening.
Thanks for letting me know. What would you recomend as a good dilution ratio? one part pheromones to 4 parts cologne perhaps?
I don’t know a good ratio, it depends on your diffuser, how much it outputs with each spray. If you know that, i.e. you have some TOGO sprayers you’ve emptied, you know they spray 40 times to empty 5ml so you can measure that way. I’ve never been good at ratios based on parts of this or that, sorry.
I’ve used LS chemset (Kroy?) products for a couple years. And, yes, they’re too strong for direct application. I cut the chemset androstenone 5:1 cologne to -none and it works well with a 3 or 4 zaps from a small atomizer.
I’ve recently started using chemset products from PC and my gut reaction is they’re not as strong or maybe not as pure as LS. I guess that’s why they’re so much cheaper. Seems to need less dilution to be effective.
Actually there is a little wrong with the math. Using the concetrated versions you should get 150mcg per spray. Also I believe there is only 12.5mcg of -none per spray in jerk and the rest is copulins.
Back on the subject though, a 5:1 dillution ratio sounds much better and will make your bottles last 5 times longer. Seems like 30-50mcg of none should be the highest one should go. Let us know if less works better for ya. Using too much nol shouldn’t really be too bad, just makes people loopy instead of chatty.
