How patient are you in bed?

Most people change as they gain experience and–ouch–age. What was urgent sexual impatience at 25 gradually morphs into enjoying your partner more holistically. As much as I enjoy sex, the best part about it is getting to know the other person and sharing secrets. It doesn’t matter that the sex isn’t great at first as that’s merely a small component of the relationship. And relationships are mostly about communication, shared lifestyle & values, affection and chemistry. And, teaching and learning about your lover’s fetishes, turnoffs and sweetspots makes the journey more exciting than the destination.

With all that said, women do tend to place much greater significance on kissing than men. Not sure why but I’m happy to please her as long as she doesn’t smoke or have doggie breath.

A brutally honest gentleman, right? Please post it here Musky. If you just send it to me no one else will see it!

You know I value your input, anytime.

Right back at ya, (((( Musky))))!

I’m considering it. It’s being written and I haven’t decided where I’ll put it. Friends only or let it loose on the forum.

I’m honoured. I’m the Prez? Poor Wolfie, I honestly thought you’d declare him President. Maybe I’ll make him the Veep. :stuck_out_tongue::smiley:

it strictly, completely depends on how hot he is.

seriously.

willingness to learn is the second variable but, for this question, hotness comes first.

My husband was a great kisser when we first married. Now he is… “Dead Lips the Pirate”
He’s happy with pecks. Me? I’m not. So, I remind him that he needs more passion in his kisses, a lot of the time he just feels insulted. :stuck_out_tongue: But a lot of the time he does better!

I wonder why his kissing went down hill… Hm…

Speaking from a married mans perspective, and one who’s admittedly been accused of the same from time-to-time, I have to say that it’s “passion”.
I love my Wife, always have, but for me, there’s a distinct difference between passionate and in-love, to the everyday love and respect.

The in-love feeling disappeared shortly after we started having kids, and it became a working relationship. We each had duties around the house throughout the day, and we forgot about each others needs. It became “I Love You because you remember to take out the garbage”. Along with it came a decline in both sex (quantity and quality) and of course, intimate kissing. She always complained that she wanted more, wanted it intimate, but the spark just wasn’t there (in me) so i couldn’t produce. It’s ridiculously hard, if not impossible, to fake a good kiss.

Fast forward to NOW: We’re recovering from a rough spot in our marriage, so we’re closer and more appreciative of each other and the time we spend. Our two girls are a little older and less of a drain, so we have a bit more energy to spend on each other. Much better kissing, more of it, more sex, better sex.
