How to properly apply A314 oil?

I tried turning the bottle upside down just like suggested many times in the forums, but only one or two tiny drops get in my finger too quick. I tried putting it at an angle, same thing.
How does it take people like 5 seconds to form a drop?

What am I missing exactly?

Btw, I loooove the smell of Akuto in oil. I think it’s much better than the spray one

Shake the bottle real hard, and if its cold rub the bottle between your hands to warm it up a bit. Then hold the bottle at a slight angle and just let it drop out. After a couple of bottles now, I’m kinda used to doing what I need to, to get just the right drop.

I don’t know if the ingredients settle in the bottle, but yeah it seems if I don’t shake it some liquid just pours out a bit quicker than expected. But when I do shake it, it comes out just right…and yeah I love the smell of A314.

Why do you have to shake the bottle, just so it comes out right? Or is to mix the pheromones inside?

I don’t and it comes out clean when I hold the bottle almost exactly upside down.

And do you just:

  1. Twist the cap off
  2. Turn the bottle 180 degrees.
  3. Wait for a drop to form?

if someone could demonstrate for us in a video, that would help a lot of users!

EDIT: Would using a pipette work? (using the same one every time and storing it in a ziplock. That’s after you twist the plastic dropper off)

I don’t have time to mess with the poorly performing drip spout on the A314 bottle. So I transfer a little to a roll top bottle (old SOE bottle): invert bottle, roll on application points and run out the door. The entire operation takes several seconds and dosage is easy to control.

The older “classic” A314 sold at LS used a lighter oil and dispensed very easy. Wish it was still available as it had more a more manly vibe, smelled better and the drip spout worked well. It also didn’t irritate my neck skin unlike some of the newer variants.

I find that if I put my pointer finger to the whole as I turn the bottle upside down and guide it out I get a consistent bubble of A314 every time.

This.

Sometimes its a little bit more viscous than normal, but I keep mine in a drawer which sits above my computer (which is on 75% of the time running simulations and renders) so it stays slightly above room temperature. I find this helps to loosen up the oil and allow for easier dispensing.

Today I shook the bottle (per Tisha’s rec), then lightly tapped bottle with a pen. Even after shaking the bottle, I got nice precise drops by turning the bottle at approx 160 degrees, it seems to work nice.

The texture of the oil is indeed slightly different than it was at the beginning. From now on I will lightly shake everytime so I get the right consistency.

Sorry guys. to dig up an old thread but … i still don’t get it.

My A314 just pours out. It’s not viscous at all! I’m guessing its probably the hot weather which makes it so liquid-like but anyone with a solution to circumvent this?

Sweet spot testing has been a real pain for me :frowning:

I hold it upside down ass end straight up and it will drop a drop sometimes it can take a few seconds it’s not fast so be patient, and yeah I love this stuff  I’m almost out! >.<

That’s the Way I Do it… NEVER get Impatient and Shake the Little Bottle… NEVER… :open_mouth:

But my problem with it is that it FLOWS out too fast!
Its like water!

I try to keep it in a cooler darker place…near the ac possibly

Test the warm weather theory. Put it in the fridge for a half hour or so and try it out.
