A314 Oil

Has anyone found that the oil comes out too quick?

I usually turn it upside down and it takes about 10 seconds for the first drop.. but the next ones come out really quick. I usually end up putting on an extra drop just because.

Am I doing it right?

I also have the oil and I only limit the dosage to 1 drop only on each side of my neck. I find that does the trick.

When you tip it over, move it back to normal upright and then back again as I notice that because of the viscosity of the oil, you need to make sure the air bubble travels to the bottom of the bottle and the dropper is free from the oil residue.

At least, that’s what I do with my oil…

.

1 - look inside the rebate at the top of the bottle, you will see a little air hole. This should be at the top as you tip. As soon as I open a bottle, I check and if needed, turn the dropper so it sits opposite the label. That way, I know that by holding the label down when I tip, the vent will always be at the top. If this is blocked/obstructed in any way, incl by fluid in the bottle, you will get a hell of a time with your drops.

2 - if any residue trickles down the sides of dropper into the rebate, it will block the airway, so you need to keep it clear. if you need to. a bit of tissue can clean it out, or if a lit of liquid has built-up, sitting the bottle in a warm place for a few hours, using the edge of a penny to slghtly tip it towards the vent should let it run back-in. You may also need to prize out the dropper and clear the air vent by gentle blowing.

3 - Don’t turn the bottle fully vertical, hold it slightly off the perpendicular, that way the vent does not block when you tip.

Lastly - temprature affects viscosity, so try to keep it stable - A314 really does not like the cold mornings! Even then, you will still get the odd bad drop but hey, look at it as a dose experement/alpha challenge!
