what is the best way to get a sinlge drop out of the bottle, i either get no drops of 2 come at once… #
any tips please .
Ah A314… you wait all day for drop then 2 come out at once. 
It still catches me out even.
i try not to encourage the drops in any way. It’s a bit of a catch 22!
Sometimes I turn the bottle as soon as drop comes out but I wonder if that allows air in and another drop to escape.
I think that making sure the bottle is completely upside down and vertical when applying may slow down the next drop? So once it has release a drop turn it upright as quickly as possible but without sudden shakes…

Another option is to go to a pharmacy and get a good quality medicinal dropper - one that gives a consistent drop size and use that instead. Even the little thin-pointed dropper that comes with Alter Ego is pretty good if you can get hold of an empty bottle of that but you are going to need to do your sweet spot all over again to suit the new drop size.

Of course the viscosity of oil decreases with temperature increases. The days when I’ve inadvertently had 2 drops come out may have been hot days.
So storing in cool (not cold) place is a must to ensure even delivery 
Well, a stable/consistant temp at least.
You should be able to turn the dropper without much difficulty but if it is stiff in the bottle, you may need to lift the dropper slightly from the top of the bottle with a knife blade, then push it gently back into place.
The hole was already in the right place.. will try in the morning..
OK - Try to ensure that you always drop with the label down and you may need to clean out the rebate round the dropper with a bit of tissue to remove any stray fluid.
Also, if its a new bottle, bring it slowly up towards vertical till you see where the drop starts to form, then hold it there till it drops - As the bottle goes down, this angle does become steeper.

I applied mine today with the air vent topmost - the drop formed quickly and I managed to apply 2 separate drops with ease.
I never have problems with A314 or any other oil like A7, I can easily get a drop out of the bottle. Very rarely I get the double drop too, once in maybe 50 attempts. If that occurs and I think I risk an OD, I apply the excess amount on my chest or wherever it will be covered with clothing to hinder the diffusion.
NPA and WAGG, those are the true bitches of the bunch. Thin liquids that have little hope of working with the default dropper that comes with the bottle.
I don’t know WAGG but NPA is in an Alcohol base, so dropping or anny chance of drop accuracy is hopeless.
As soon as I open any bottle of NPA, the very first thing I do is pop the dropper out and throw it away - I use a proper measuring pippette after that.
WAGG is just the same, alcohol based stuff. It’s not such a big deal to get 3 or 4 drops worth at once though, since it’s not a none product like NPA. One can go heavy on WAGG and then just add more none to fight the risk of a wuzzy vibe.

For the cost of a314, as a customer I would very much welcome an improvement here.
and, in view of the potency of a314, it matters a lot whether 1, 2, or 3 drops!
Further, for me even individual drops come of different size, regularly.
I would switch entirely to spray except for the “slap in the face effect” I have sometimes noticed, and the effectiveness of the oil.
Its no pain in the arse - Just a few seconds to adjust the dropper and adopting the dropping position/procedure is a lot easier than it sounds.
an eye dropper bottle would be a great idea. you can get them on ebay
I think the A314 bottle is just about the best one I got. I prefer it to any pipette thingy.
