The current dropper bottle is very hard to get accurate number of drops for me and for a couple of other members, maybe due to the heat here.
Exactly what always happens to me too
The bottle where taa oil and dirty are used would be much more accurate and easier to apply without worrying about putting on too much or wasting some drops.
I was thinking about this too, would you let it drop into a bottle or take the transparent cap off then pour it into the new bottle? And i dont have a empty tall dropper bottle yet, but ill wait. Thx
I actually have the same thing happen with mine. It’s about 106 out lately with the heat index so yeah it gets hot. My answer was short last night because I was upside down with only one hand available.
Don’t think like that you sickos! I like to lay upside down once in a while to strecth out my back.
The 15 ml bottles are out of stock and I am not sure when they will be back, but I will ask.
I’ve actually been having the same problem. I usually end up with about 2 more drops than I intended. Not really complaining, effect-wise. But I might like to be a little more subtle in my use of it & not burn through it so quickly.
My problem is that after the first drop 3 more will shoot out fairly quickly. I have to be slick if I want only 2 drops on me. And if I do get that the rest will be on that rim area.
The dropper top from the 15 ml bottle is considerably bigger than the A314 dropper. Therefore the drop you get from the dropper most likely will result in about 3 drops anyway.
Really?! I always thought that they were smaller! They look like smaller on my skin thx for the info!
Is there any numbers available? It was mentioned on the taa oil page and main oil page that there are around 540 to 576 drops per 15ml, and for a314 bottle it is agreed to be around 340 drops 10ml. So it kind of make them similar in size of drops.
I seem to get 2 different drop sizes from the a-314 bottle depending on how the drop forms. If it comes directly from the nozzle I get a small drop. If the drop touches the plastic rim as it is forming I get a much bigger drop. If the viscosity of the solution is high (ie normal temperatures) I almost always get a small drop. However when it is hot and the viscosity is lower I often get the big drops.
One solution to the “low viscosity” problem is to keep the bottle in a cool place inside. However, then you may not have it with you on “hot” adventures.
Apparently there has been some confusion with this thread per the PM’s I’ve been getting. The 10 ml and 15 ml A314 bottles have the same dropper, but the larger 15 ml bottle might be a bigger drop.
What mockingbird and GwtW were suggesting is to take the 15 ml cobalt bottle with dropper (like Dirty) bottle and transfer the contents so that they can use the dropper.
I was saying that my drop from Dirty seems, at least to me, is bigger than my 15ml A314 bottle.
I hope this clears up any confusion that anybody might have had
