How women determine who is wearing pheromones?

I’ve read many examples here about a person being in a room with other people while wearing pheros and people noticed it was him. How is that possible? I understand it might be similar with perfumes, but if I enter the room and smell a perfume, I will not be able to tell who is wearing it, unless I get very close to that person(hug etc). Well, sometimes people overdose on that too .
People mentioned here, some mones have range about 6-10 feet. And there were examples of group of friends, one of them wearing pheros and girls were attracted by that person and not by the others standing right next to that guy. How is that possible to be accurately drawn to that person out of many ( in a club ie.) from distance, unless the previously walked by him?

I was thinking about something, I was in a barbershop, recently and this lady came over to talk to the barber, and she standing close to the chair I was in, could have taken over and cut my hair if she wanted to, she was that close and anyway they conserve for a good while, I’am like please the dude is cutting my hair, I’am thinking, "GO AWAY ". I’am thinking this isn’t normal for a lady to stand there as long as she did; the barber may have assume something entirley different. Yes I had on a good product.

I’am just wondering, certain insects, dogs, pigs, and fish have the ability to pick up scent trail from long distances. By the way, a decent quesition.
