I have an interview at Abercrombie, of all places XD

I talked to the manager chick - she was probably 23 or so - and she seemed interested in me. In more ways than one. It’s a group interview with like three other people I believe. I basically sell myself and just be better and more attractive than they are. Soooo. I have ammo and shine. Ratio? Man, I want to purchase some more.
Actually, hell, let’s turn this into a multi-purpose thread. Ammo is good for attraction/social-life and shine is icing on anything’s cake. What one or two products would you reccommend next? I was thinking P74 - gets you that cool guy vibe, though that’s just more social - or something, dunno. Hopefully not too expensive. I’m just a poor college student. I am almost out of my little shine sampler though..

Are you gonna be one of the guys that stands by the door with shirt off?

Haha no, I’m a little above that. Probably just the regular “model” category of employee. The name doesn’t fit the job description - you basically just fix clothes and shit and stand at the register looking pretty.

I just went with 2 ammo 1 IS. Worked wonderfully. The 22 year old manager actually did a couple DHLs when talking to me. Wasn’t wearing any.. what is it, androsterone that does that? Must have been my boyish good looks :stuck_out_tongue:
It was one of those group interview things. They’re stupid, but it was fine. I was, after all, giving off sexier pheros than the other two guys there haha. The other people were kind of unintelligent. No surprise, really, given the brand and demographic. Manager asks stupid questions where the best answer they are looking for is very obvious, so my responses were winners, and we talk about ourselves for a little, and that’s it. Simple as hell. The only pheros needed are just the attraction ones because that’s how they hire in those types of companies - the most attractive employees attract customers. I’d rather work at Gamestop or Perfumania though XD

that’s great..

Let us know if they employ you!

Just got the call, I’m hired!

congratulations!

so, tonight’s dinner treat is on him!

Congratulations!!

Wow congrats
lucky ull get to test pheros everyday

And fold tattered ‘n paint spattered clothing until 1:00 in the morn. Maybe sprayin’ mones on merchandise will increase repeat customers. “Damn dem dar holy aberzombie jeans git me laid. I’ll take a half dozen mo’…”

Fortunately I can wear jeans from other places while working there. I hate their jeans.

That would be real fascist if you could only wear their jeans at work.

You have to sport company style, obviously, as at any place you work. Would it make sense to see a metalhead goth at Nordstrom’s fragrance counter? Or an employee wearing a Subway uniform at McDonald’s? I don’t really mind having to wear shirts that I’d wear anyway at work :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s only true some places, but not all. I wor at a state university and there is no written or implied dress code. I come to work all moned-up and dress like an ultra causal metromale: slim bootcut designer jeans, lizard cowboy boots, fake vintage t-shirts or western shirts, SW Indian jewelry, etc. Other profs wear surfer shorts, designer suits, ill-fitting 70s polyester or goodwill retreads.

“slim bootcut designer jeans, lizard cowboy boots, fake vintage t-shirts or western shirts, SW Indian jewelry, etc. Other profs wear surfer shorts, designer suits, ill-fitting 70s polyester or goodwill retreads.”

You wouldn’t happen to have taught Existentialism at UofOregon, would you? :stuck_out_tongue: That is EXACTLY how my professor dressed. Not one detail is off.
And yeah, big difference between our jobs that may contribute to dress code is that yours is better paying, more psychologically mature(not a line-zombie like a fast-food employee where there’s a bunch of teens doing the same thing in one building) and actually fun + rewarding. ._.

I guess living in Hawaii long enough would totally destroy novelty of wearing an Aloha shirt.
