Hi Guys.
No, I didn’t drop off the face of the earth…
My father-in-law has had several health-related issues for years now (dementia, prostate cancer that is in remission, heart problems, and blindness) but last December things got much worse. I won’t go into it, but I was ready to call an ambulance 6 or 7 times.
Well, to make a long story short, he passed away, peacefully, in his sleep on Dec 29th in the early morning. Since then, I planned the funeral, cleaned the house from top to bottom, notified the extended family of the funeral, made travel arrangements for my Sister-in-law to get here, made hotel arrangements for the out of town family for the wake/funeral, and helped my mother-in-law change bank accounts & deal with social security, the insurance company, & the company that sent dad’s pension every month. All this on top of looking for a job each week. I had absolutely no time for fun.
It’s all over now, and I feel ok to actually spend time on the net for my own pleasure again.
So, starting tomorrow morning, expect me to be greeting new members again.
It’s good to have the leisure time to be back
