Anyway, I was using a liquid androsterone to lower cholesterol and boost my thyroid function and naturally lower my estrogen levels.
I noticed it has a quite nice smell, but only 6 months later realised people use it for pheromones after further reading.
Now, did I notice anything ? Yes, one or two women looked at me more than usual.

That’s some very interesting information. My guess is some of the AndrosteRone was destroyed in the gut then some absorbed. From what’s absorbed, some would have been used (and possibly converted to other things), and some would have been sweated out of your pores. From what was sweated out, my guess would be this is what affected women.

So I was literally taking about 3mg of topical androsterone and never knew it was a pheromone - lol !

It converts to DHT in the body and lowers estrogen, but also helps people with thyroid problems.
The pharma drug clofibrate replaced androsterone to lower cholesterol, and used 5.5mg per tablet.
And yes, it does smell like a cologne and quite manly and it definitely has a musk about it that some women would like.
Some people have said androsterone can cause depression - could this be one of the reasons ? Maybe the people using it should be aware that it is a potent cholesterol drug too. There’s a lot of info on google scholar about it .

By the way, aren’t you worried about DHT?
Many people don’t believe DHT causes hair loss and prostate problems, because DHT decreases with age.
So no, I am not worried about DHT.
Some people take capsules with 200mg of androsterone in them.
Finally, if I was to review this product, I would say it does one thing - create curiosity.
It doesn’t smell sexual, or too strong, it’s more like a weak cologne. However, when you do smell it, you do think, “it’s quite nice, that’s an interesting smell”.
It’s not a sexual smell.
Interesting stuff. Since Androsterone is the ‘mature’ ‘masculine’ pheromone, did you notice any hits that were ‘respect’ hits? Like were people being more respectful to you or letting you go ahead or lead the way? Or were people seemingly intimidated by you?
It’s difficult to say.
Some people do seem a little intimidated by me, I have no idea if the androsterone causes this.
People do seem calm in my presence, bu it’s difficult to analyse these things.
I also take 100mg of pregnenolone powder everyday, it’s a tasteless powder, and creates a lot of hormones within the body. This may be influencing things.
Regarding DHT, I did notice a sharp pain in my prostate/bowel area when I strongly sniffed it in once, similar to the way smellings salts can have an instant effect.
But this only happened once in a 6 month period.
Final thoughts on the intimidation thing.
I used to take capsules of DHEA - and I definitely noticed I got more looks just taking that than any other substance I have taken .
Interesting. Others say that about dhea. For me it was eating heads of celery.
