…but this is mostly just for me, because I’m terrible at remembering everything. ![]()
Also, for anyone that does happen to read this, I’ll start off by saying that some of you won’t find this dia..er..journal to be helpful. It doesn’t revolve around whether women find me more attractive with mx9817 on or jump straight into bed with mx9128 on. I’ll include anything on that if it’s relevant, but my focus will be on self-effects, and comments on effectiveness in regards to its desired effect on self as well as others. I’m not really sure how to articulate it more fully at the moment. This is clearly a work in progress, I’ll just update it or fix it later when I figure it out.
So anyways, the approach I’ll be taking will be that of a person completely unexposed to pheromones previously. I do have some experience using pheromones and have experienced the majority of finalized products, but it’s always nice to have a blank slate. I will, however, include a brief first impression from my earlier experiences with pheromones for eh, I dunno, I guess just to throw out as much info out there as possible. I’ll do either single mixes or single products at first, then later adding more complicated mixes.
Basic info for those that want to know because of -none levels or whatever:
Ethnicity: Korean
Age: 20
Height: 6’0"
Weight: 170
Current Physical Fitness: Lost almost all muscle definition. Marginal additional body fat.
Blood Type: O (Thanks Malleus)
(If any other info is helpful in regards to working with -none, please let me know)
Also, it’ll be funny if those aforementioned mixes ever do actually become reality. 9000’s? Dayum.
Week 1 (MX100) Safari Mix
“It’s turning out to be a light, fun, adventurous blend for him. It sparks a huge willingness to explore, to go out, have fun.”
When I originally came across this mix, I had intended it to be a mix that would be something like my rainy day mix. I’m bored and everyone’s studying or in class, and I just spray this on, go out where ever and kick it.
My first experiences with mx100 were very scattered. I was kinda looking around everywhere. Not exactly hyper aware or anything, just found myself curiously glancing at a lot of things. Not like you’re high on shrooms kinda curious though. It’s much more acute than that. Anyways, after that initial experience, I wondered if I could harness that curious energy and direct it into one object of focus. Say homework, or in my case now, regular work. For now, I’ll be seeing if I can use mx100 to focus my efforts.
(As an aside to those that don’t know, TAF is supposed to the ultimate in focusing..too bad I don’t clean for a job. I’ll try it sometime though.)
Day 1** - Feb 25 2008**
Location: Neck - 1 Spray
The first thing I notice is a small surge of energy, not unlike any caffeinated beverage. I usually kinda mope around before getting out of the car to work, but today I just grabbed my stuff and got out. That could be because of the fact that the weather was actually nice today, or perhaps because I’m a little behind schedule.
One thing that was nice, and either an effect of digging into work, or the pheromones, was that I was stuck in thoughts of the one-that-got-away-but-keeps-dating-your-friends-girl but they just vanished like a puff of smoke. In fact, any reminiscing of the past weekends’ partying disappeared. So in terms of being able to direct my focus I’d say that it’s not a bad start. It is difficult to tell at this point because it’s only Monday. I’m always gung ho at the beginning of the week.
In terms of interaction with others, I don’t really talk to others that much. My work involves walking around the city taking pictures of “landmark” buildings from a list given to me. But occasionally I do have to ask security guards or building managers for permission to enter their property to take pictures. Today I actually didn’t have to speak to many people.
One woman security guard (she wasn’t even remotely attractive for those of you wondering), was very curt and to the point, tho not unpleasant. She kept asserting her opinion somewhat redundantly, even when talking to her superior - as in “I didn’t think it would happen, but I thought I should ask anyways.” Maybe it’s just her style.
I also noticed something a little strange. People seemed to want to walk right into me on the sidewalk. I had to step off into the street or grass several times today. It’s really something I wouldn’t have noticed before because people usually just automatically adjust themselves to move out of way. Not these people. They just couldn’t be bothered to walk single file for a second or two. They just had to walk in pairs or rows of three.
(Okay I know I said blank slate, but I just have to add this. So mx100 does have some -none in it. The area I was in happened to be composed of various corporate buildings and the employees were on lunch break. Could some of them have felt the -none vibe and felt that they needed to assert their dominance by making me move out of their way? I’m just some random guy walking around with a camera in midday to them. Eh? I dunno. If you care to respond, please do.)
One other thing that stuck out was that I yelled at a coordinator waving me to go around a parked truck blocking my lane “Don’t you think I’d be going around if I could?” He responded by saying “I was just telling you that it would be clear in a moment.” I just went “Oh. Thanks!” and drove off. I don’t think there were any hard feelings either way. I’ll actually attribute that to the terrible LA traffic and the idiots that block 2 lanes trying to make it to the left turn. Worse, the idiots that forget that the intersection needs to be clear for it to work.
(I know the -none’s there and by the end of the day, whatever buffers, if any, are likely gone, but I think it would have been more vicious if it was -none induced and I probably wouldn’t have been able to respond in a light manner when I found out he was trying to help me. Probably wouldn’t have figured that out in the first place.)
Damn. That’s a lot for one day I think. See you all tomorrow.
