That was my issue with Erox. I just wanted to know what I was using, not the formula, just how much A1. Since I am testing most of the time and not using the commercial line, I wanted to know mcg’s per spray or something to know how much I would have been using. They wouldn’t provide that so LS was the right call for me.
A1 from LS is not cheap, but I tested 2 drops on a fairly disagreeable girl. Complainer, loves to bitch and I thought she was the perfect test candidate. It did calm her down during a car ride and noticeably too.
2 drop dose of LS chemset A1 seems to be the optimal dose. I’ve been using it once a month for years with nothing but amazing results. Beyond the monthly PMS I found it did little to warrant wearing it. But around a woman with messed up hormones, A1 is an extension of the hand 'o God.
The test subject I had is 50/50 person. Happy or completely miserable. The A1 showed me that her miserableness could be chemically controlled and that I should run fast and far when I encounter women like her.
Imagine having to wear a pheromone just to be able to be around someone?
The best answer to the question was given by MHarris:
So the answer is 19 * 800nmol.
What’s that mean? I assume nmol is a nano-mole or a billionth of a mole, which would be 0.80 micro-mole. Any body’s stoichiometry up to date? Can we equate an mcg to a micro-mole? If we do, we get 15.2mcg of androstadienone per spray of IFM.
This is consistent with Tisha’s 10-15mcg estimate.
At 15mcg per spray in a 30 ml bottle of 200 sprays you get:
15mcg * 200 = 3000mcg per bottle. That’s 3mg per 30ml or 1mg per 10ml.
The LS antrostadienone is 1mg/1ml or ten times as concentrated.
If my assumptions are correct so far, add three ml LS androstadienone and 27 ml alcohol to an empty IFM bottle and you are close.
Of course, that doesn’t account for the approx 15mcg/spray of steering pheromones. If you can figure out what they are then substitute some of them for some of the 27 ml perfumer’s alcohol. Anybody want to guess what the steering pheros are? It seems to me the best candidates are TAA, Alphanol, Betanol and AndrosteRone. I mention these only because they are the basis for other consumer products which have been around for awhile. If AndrosteRone is one of them, it could account for why there were separate male and female versions. Personally, I use enough pheros already that I think my A1 will get steered plenty fine without adding more steering pheros to the same bottle.
The LS androstadienone I have mentioned is alcohol based. Somebody said it was oil based. It costs $79 for 10 ml. If it is ten times as concentrated as the A1 in IFM that is equivalent to 100 ml IFM. My last order of IFM cost $48. So you get more than three times as much for less than twice the price. But no steering pheromones.
We know that the 30 ml blue bottle that IFM came in had a spray volume of 0.15 ml. I don’t know what the volume of a drop of LS A1 is. Does anyone have that info? According to nbully79’s mix claculator a “5 ml bottle dropper gives 0.018 ml/drop … of alcohol”. If we use that measure, the dropper bottle drop is approximately one tenth the size of an IFM spray. Since the LS A1 is ten times as concentrated, we would assume the LS drop and the IFM spray are roughly equivalent.
According to Gegogi, however, it takes two sprays of IFM to equal one drop of LS A1:
Can anyone clear up that inconsistency?
That sounds really good and I want to believe it, but considering the responses others have gotten to their inquiries it strikes me that supporting these people is a lot like supporting the Illuminati when they’re building death camps. What good are their innovations if they are only going to use them against us, refusing to tell us what, if any, pheromones are in their products? Patenting or licensing a technology only to suppress it is WRONG, no matter how legal it might be! I wish everybody had the same ethics and customer service as Androtics.
Anyway, can anyone clear up my fuzziness on nmol per mcg? Any comments on the seeming inconsistency of more sprays of IFM needed than drops of A1? Any errors in my math or reasoning so far? Any thought on the likely steering pheromones in IFM?
The LS A1 is alcohol based, no question. While Erox might be a good company, I am in the dark as to why they won’t tell me what I am buying/how much A1 I am spraying, were I to use their product. Like I am going to cackle while rolling my creepy waxed-laden mustache and make a competing product if they tell me.
Thanks for the explanation and the math. I understand the steering mones, but I had been hoping to use it as part of a mix.
I didn’t go through the entire thread, so if you guys already know how much A1 is in IFM then excuse this post.
According to Michael IFM has 10 mcg of A1 per spray.
Here is the post:
Michael: *IFM is a highly corrected version of a known, but unmentionable, pheromone. It’s funny, because we can use it, but are forbidden from mentioning it (or mixing it with certain other components). I bet you’d be able to guess it from the description. **Out of the 15mcg total pheromone content, 10mcg consists of that pheromone.
A1 has quite a depressive effect on some male users so the male version of IFM contains, from what Michael has mentioned earlier, certain steering components to reduce this effect. Most have found however that when A1 induced depression takes hold nothing much helps to counter it.
However the components that can work to counter A1 depression even slightly are Est, TAA, TAC and Anol.
There are barely any OD risks with these molecules, so even though you don’t have the exact ratios of these components in IFM, you can get pretty close simply by adding equal mcgs of all of these along with A1 to replicate IFM.
However, I personally think that Est works best for enhancing male mood most consistently, so I would ditch other components as they are already part of other products we use here anyways.
So here’s what you might use in a 30 ml bottle:
2 ml of A1 (1 mg/ml)
1 ml of Est (1 mg/ml)
Fill the rest of the bottle with perfumer’s alcohol or cologne of your choice (27 ml)
The best info that Erox ever told me was that I should use 2-3 sprays and I’ll be fine. That’s the same dosage I used for IFM…now of course, the problem is how can I trust they’re the same dosage?
The molecular weight of A1 is 270.408 g/mol, which means
1 mole of A1 = 270.408 gram of A1 = 270408000 mcg of A1
1 nmol = 1 nano mole = 1/1000000000 mole = 0.270408 mcg of A1
Therefore, 800 nmol = 216 mcg of A1
So if Pherin uses 800 nmol of A1 as their typical dosage (in their research or publications) it far exceeds IFM’s dosage per spray which is 10 mcg/spray.
(So I think MHarris is mistaken when he says that IFM has a higher dosage than that per spray. Maybe he needs to explain this.)
Note that this doesn’t mean that if you buy products from Natural Attraction you are getting 216 mcg of A1 per spray. This is just the dose they use for their research. The actual output per spray of their products is still unknown and may be far less than this.
