I’m curious, you’ve said you feel that alpha is a part of you, and that you know how to act the part. The words being thrown around so much in this thread I just gotta ask allen, what in your opinion constitutes and Alpha Male?
Well I don’t know. Someone who is assertive, upfront, a leader amongst other men, womanizer, knows how to carry themselves, knows how to get point across, doesn’t take disrespect from anyone, fit, etc. I could go on but I’m stuck at the moment. ![]()
Oh gosh. I’m NOT angry. ![]()
I swear. I’m the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. It’s just I’m fed up with the way I’m being treated because of the fact that I am nice. I hate to say it but nice guys really do finish last. The only time I turn into a dr.jeckyll or however you want to call it, is when someone outright and publicly demeans and disrespects me. Or even then, I would just fight with words. But if they said they are going to kick my ass or something else of that nature, that’s when I go into defense mode and I have to fight. Other than that, most times people get away with doing whatever they want to me. I’m only increasing testosterone to give me more muscle and work out my body and give me more of a masculine edge. If you met me in real life, you would think I’m the softest guy on the planet. I’m really not as bad as the description I gave yall. I’m a small guy. I’m only 5’7 and 150-something pounds compared to other guys that are 6’ something football and basketball players that are buffed up. I can’t do THAT much damage. But the fact is, I don’t get any respect. And I have tried more than enough to gain it. So I think I can give myself a little bit of credit by testing out these pheromones for a bit. I’ve been through enough trauma.
Well you actually are fairly close. The womanizing aspect isn’t what I consider a fundamental Alpha quality. Not to say an Alpha male can’t be a womanizer, but many are quite monogamous. A few things about your perception of the Alpha are a little off and might lead to frustration down the line as the quest eludes you.
First, you said something along the lines of “I COULD be an alpha male, it’s just too much work” (paraphrasing of course so if that’s less than accurate I apologize), An Alpha Male can’t be afraid of hard work. A large part of being an Alpha Male is having a vision, an ambition or goal so deeply consuming to you that it becomes a major focus in your life, that you work for every day. And when you talk about it you do so with such passion that other people can’t help but get sucked into and find your goals becoming their goals as well. You have to have an ambition and the drive to pursue it vigorously.
Secondly, Alpha Status is partially an innate quality, it’s also a title that’s held and that title is awarded. True leadership is bestowed by those to be led. Sometimes in a formal way that we call democracy. (yes the president of the united states is an Alpha Male) Most other times it’s in a less formal manner, where to an outside observer it would simply appear that the Alpha TOOK their position and was unchallenged. It’s more a matter of the Beta’s, and others simply made the subconscious decision that this person being Alpha is a good idea. Look at it this way, you list “Leader among men” as an Alpha quality. Very true, but where are you going to lead them? (vision, ambition, goals etc), Can you get there? (strategy, tactics and planning), Can you inspire others to follow? (passion communicated both verbally and visually when others see your dedication to your goal). Is it in their best interest to give you Alpha status? (what will following your “lead” do for them?) People by the millions award one of the most powerful positions of leadership and authority to one man based an a variety of reasons but ultimately one, the belief that giving power, authority and influence to this man will somehow make my life better.
Saying that you want the respect given to an Alpha Male, and that you could be an Alpha Male if you really wanted to, but it’s just too much work doesn’t actually communicate a personality that others will find inspirational.
An Alpha is also very much in control of themselves. In nature they’ve found that among higher social mammals like wolves and great apes, that when there’s a change in power. The new Alpha Male experiences a rise in the neurotransmitter serotonin, while the outgoing former Alpha experiences a decline. Serotonin as an NT has a very counter intuitive effect to what most would assume from an Alpha Male. It’s has a very calming and relaxing effect. Contrary to the assertive and aggressive qualities of the hormone test. This helps smooth out a personality making the Alpha a leader instead of a bully and more likely to be followed, it also helps with what’s associated with taking a leadership responsibility…stress. Serotonin helps an Alpha Male deal with the stress, anxiety and anger that come with the position. Now, you can’t…or at least shouldn’t try to manipulate your NT levels artificially but knowing this we learn that perhaps learning anger and stress management skills would help a man to develop the character that makes for a good natural leader.
As far as raising your T levels, at 17 your test, as well as other anabolic hormones are at the highest levels that will ever be at…should last till you’re around 21-22 then it’s all downhill from there. Manipulating them at this age is counter productive. Professional athletes would kill to be able to figure out how to stack Steroids, growth hormone, insulin and IGF-1 in the precise ratio’s your body is naturally producing this very moment. Muscle and strength you gain now is pretty much permanent unlike the shorter term gains bodybuilders experience with roid use. It’s called the puberty stack and nobody has been able to figure it out yet. It’s a mythic holy grail among body builders and power lifters. Better option is simply eat and train smart to make optimal use of the current hormonal state you are currently experiencing…because your body will never be as ideally primed for size and strength gains as it is now.
Now what will A314 do? Well it’s effects are subtle. And even moreso when dealing with people that already have a preconceived notion about you. Simply wearing the A314 will make people look at you with a “something different about you” sort of look, but they’ll likely dismiss it as their imagination in a fairly short time. Likewise if you try to change and suddenly start “acting alpha” around people that have been disrespecting you as an omega will be met with resistance. Mocking or teasing you for “being fake, trying to pretend to be something your not”. Basically shit testing you. However when used in conjunction with each other, the “something different” sense people will get from the A314 will confirm and be confirmed by, your actual actions toward becoming a strong confident leader and Alpha Male.
Pay close attention to Radman here. He has given you very very good advice. He has gained many peoples respect without us even meeting him simply with his attitude and words.
I would just add one thing.
You stated…
You dont gain respect you earn it. You earn it by
Giving respect
Respecting yourself
Controlling your emotions
Honoring your word
Being the best you, you can be (this doesn’t mean better then everyone else just striving for your personal best)
Accept responsibility for your actions
Being sure your actions are responsible
Now for the hard one
Standing by all those convictions and values even when your faced with some disrespectful a-hole.
It doesn’t start with them it starts with you.

Hey allenk893 …
At 17 life WILL shit test you … big style. That transition point to adulthood/manhood means that not only do you have to change, but others around you have to change the way they look at you. It’s a slow process. A314 might help, but the bottom line is that if you are destined to be an alpha, you’ll have to develop alpha ways of dealing with the transition. a lot of young men hope to become alpha males, but the truth is that not all do. You seem to be living consciously, and that’s good, and helps give you a better chance, but the main qualities I’d say you need as this stage is to know yourself, and to be able to demonstrate that to others, no matter what they throw your way. alpha is more of an inner game that anything you show on the outside, so the way you THINK and FEEL has to be congruent with being an alpha male.
Hit the weights and the gym.
Channel that rage into a proper diet and massive lifting. People think that lifting gets the chics, but its actually a bit more complex. Guys start respecting you and THEN girls pick up on this and start wanting a piece of the action.
Dude even if you don’t get girls, weightlifting will help you live healthy longer and you will be surprised in how well you do in the workplace “after” highschool. Walk into a job interview ripped with under 8% body fat and youll be surprised how your new boss will forget about your competition.
Best of luck man!
PS: remember that the group of people you are surrounded with now come and go - there is ALWAYS another beautiful girl waiting to be swept off her feet that doesnt know about your current surroundings.
I travel a lot for my job. The world is HUGE. So many friends to meet and so many amazing women. NEVER get bent out of shape over what is happening “now” - always be happy and look towards the future.
Norvix has some great words of advice.
Maintaining a disciplined workout regimen is a big part and can go a long way in achieving “Alpha” status.
It is important for garnering the respect of your male peers which in turn leads to increased female attraction. Also, and this can’t be said enough, you will feel better about yourself. Knowing that you are strong and capable can do wonders for a guys psyche.
You have to respect yourself before you can expect others to.
People are always sizing each other up on a subconsious level to determine what each other’s status is. You obviously are being perceived as a low status male and there can be a number of reasons for this. I can understand why this can make you feel angry. People would treat you with more respect if you were perceived as higher status.
Obviously do the non-pheromone things to improve yourself - lift weights, do well in school, dress well, etc…
A314 would be the best pheromone product to boost your perceived status in my opinion. I’d definitely buy a bottle and see what it does for you.
The thing about true alpha males that a lot of people miss is that they’re status is communicated via their character and personality moreso than their physical prowess.
Look at forbes list of the richest men in the world, ceo’s and billionaire captains of industry, or look at your typical politicians. Sure some people might consider Bill Clinton or John Edwards to be attractive…by politician standards but they’re not even close to being George Clooney or Brad Pitt. The A314 leadership vibe isn’t dependent on physical size or strength, if it was the leaders of countries and companies would all look like body builders or male strippers. As attractive as many women found Bill Clinton let’s be honest, few women if any would be willing to pay to see him dancing on stage with the Chippendales. The point is that working out, getting in shape etc is always a good idea but if becoming a true Alpha is your goal focusing too much on just the physical is missing the point.
What you really want to do if you want to be an alpha male or leader is to have a vision. A goal that you are passionate about and everything about your life and lifestyle is congruent with striving toward that goal. You have to learn to communicate your goal with passion that infects others and inspires them to make your goals theirs. Have a plan, a road map to reaching the goals. And find a way to make following your lead beneficial to those who you would be leading.
Now this can be something grand and profound like becoming a politician or working for some noble cause, but it can also be as simple and light as having as much fun and excitement as possible. People will know that you are the initiator of fun and following you is the best way to guarantee having a great time. Being big and strong and built might intimidate men or attract women but it won’t inspire genuine respect. That’s based on who you are, not how you look.
Get a PhD at Harvard, find some company and become a CEO like that dude made the facebook, become a military general or politican. Easier said then done, but hey, you would become an ultimate alpha male, without having to prove yourself to anyone ![]()
