Instant Sexiness – how long the phero smell last???

So I had 1 spray of Instant Sexiness on inside elbow yesterday covered with Chanel Chance –*seemed to go well together. This morning when I woke up, it totally smelled like Phero. I have to say I really do not like this smell on myself. It smells more masculine to me. :frowning:

This morning I put MX135 over the same area and covered with Prada. Smelled good all day, then at the end of the day, I noticed the Instant Sexiness Phero smell again. It still smells after a day and a half?! Is this normal??? MX 135 doesn’t seem to do this. Although the Chocolatini smell is pretty strong for my taste.

BTW I’m not sure what MX135 did for me today. Gotta try again!

I’ve found that many pheromones and mixes seem unusual at first, but I soon get used to them.

I never notice the Neroli smell after that many hours. It dies down really quickly. My guess is that you have a truly excellent nose and you are smelling the actal pheros or one of the pheros common to both mixes. The fact you smelled it again in MX135- which is a really different kind of mix - but it is a mix, and so is IS, makes me think that. Maybe you are picking out something they have in common, or the slight muskiness of human pheros, besides the neroli. By not using too much you are probably able to isolate it even better. You are going to have a lot of fun with pheros, with that ability. Do you seem to be good at intuitively “reading” people? Maybe it’s your nose!
I am so glad you brought this up because it reminds me of something I have wanted to discuss but always forget. I never smelled anything but the Neroli with pheros at first, or whatever fragrance was with it, in the mixes, and never smelled much with the unscented versions of things. But as I have used pheros, my nose has gotten much better. I guess you don’t notice what you don’t recognize - at first.
And another really odd thing I have noticed is that when I am drying my hair and heating my scalp up, I sometimes get a strong whiff of what I swear smells exactly like androstenol, from a scalp and hair that is freshly washed, that sort of champagne bubbles in the nose effect. I think it comes from the oil glands in the scalp. Has anybody else smelled pheros on themselves when not using them (besides cops, lol)?
I think sometimes we forget that we really do have our own pheros, which we probably just ignored as background scent “noise”. It is also some proof (to me) that there really is something to this. You start to become aware of what was always there, when it is.
It also reminds me of what Tacitus has often said - that pheros are a chance for real growth in perception and social skills, to hone an ability that lasts long after the pheros have been washed away. Because pheros aren’t just coming from a bottle - they are out there being manufactured by all of us every day, and you have probably always responded to them on some level (especially somebody with a good nose like I think you have). But once you’ve been exposed to them in a concentrated form, you start being able to pick them out. That seems like an advantage.

I agree with Vkat. I think your are smelling the pheromones. The scent of neroli dosnt last long at all on me and has never returned after it wears off which is usually a couple of hours but the smell of mones will stay after my perfume or the neroli is gone.

I have never smelt nols while doing my hair but I have smelt them when I am working out and I sweat. I didnt know what the smell was either until I started using pheromones. I just thought it was BO from sweating LOL Oh course I would hit the showers and get rid of it.

A few of my friends at work use mones and I can smell them when they have them on. I think your right though about recognizing the smell. I know that if I never wore them myself and I smelt my friend with them on I would never think in a million years I was smelling mones. I would just smell the neroli or chocolatini.

I AM smelling the pheromones. I like the neroli scent, but it gets icky for me after the neroli smell goes away. Then it does smell like BO. I could still smell a trace of it this morning – after 2 full days! Oh my.

MX135 and Openness so far haven’t given me such strong reminisce. I can still smell it a bit, but it’s not so unpleasant at all.

Shine’s phero smell was also uncomfortable for me. The 2 products I was really interested in were Shine and Sexiness, so I’m a bit confused about this result. I’m not getting obvious hits on the product yet either. I recognized the self-effects, but the smell made me self-conscious and it cancelled it out unfortunately.

I do have a pretty sensitive nose. I especially detest chemical smell, like vinyl, and glue. I hate marine wax and surf wax also, I get sea sick just from that smell. New house is a torture chamber for me from all the synthetic building materials and glues. My mom is the same way and hated most any kind of perfumes or anything scented, so I grew up in the house with no smell with exception of mint or citrus (which my mom liked). My body is pretty odorless to start with (never really get BO, I wear deodorant stick mostly for the antiperspirant purpose) except some people has told me that my breath is very sweet which I kinda notice myself as well (can be the vitamins and suppliments I take daily).

Back in the day, I had a few friends who grew up in hippy households, and they wore patchouli… I HATED THAT SMELL. I thought it was the most distasteful smell in the world. It doesn’t bother me as much now, but I still think it smells like BO. ack.

Sometimes when I’m not in optimum health and I wear too much perfume, I literally get sick from it. MX135’s chocolatini scent is way too strong for me, but I noticed it wears off after about 5-6 hrs. It doesn’t bother me too much.

Another funny thing… I have a friend who wears Ralph Lauren Romance, and it smells a little like BO on me. But I think I’m the only one who thinks that, because obviously her boyfriend nor anyone else has mentioned it. When she’s not wearing Romance, she smells fine, never noticed any BO on her. AND, here’s the interesting part – I know a couple other people who wear the same perfume, but it smells nice and powderly soft on them. So my conclusion is that her natural pheromones and Romance somehow creates a funny chemical reaction and causes that BO like smell that I can detect??? She’s a very fun & attractive girl who commands lots of attention from men anyway, however I wonder if that perfume is doing something extra for her with men??? (Just looked up on Romance and it does have patchouli and musk in it, indeed…)

I used to wear Poison by Dior (original purple bottle) a lot, and people always asked me what I was wearing. When I told them that it was Poison, noone believed me. They all said it smells so much nicer on me. I guess that was also the blend of my own pheros and the perfume.

In any case, I don’t like Sexiness :frowning: I guess I’ll have to try one more time and see what happens… I also have to try Shine again.

I also have purchased MX134 and Honesty, which I was going to try next week at work. Hmmm.

Do you have any scented lotions ? Try applying some of that first and then spray the mones on top and then cover with your perfume.

Then what I do is carry my lotion in my purse and later on in the day put some more on.

Instant sexiness has cops in it and so does Mx135 so that could be the guilty mone. But Instant shine dosnt have it. Off the top of my head I believe its TAA and nols.

Try it in your hair on a day when you dont plan to go out and see if you still get a BO smell later. It could be reacting with your skin chemistry and making the smell stronger to you.

Keep experimenting and you will find a system that works for you. I am used to the smell so it dosnt usually phase me much but once in a while I will wonder if someone can smell it. Maybe after a while when you realise no one can tell it wont bother you to much.

Funny story about smell.

Yesterday I was testing MX177 at a picnic. I put it on in the car after I parked and got I big head rush. I alway get head rushes in the car when I apply mone in there. I think its because its enclosed. So anyway I go to the picnic which was huge about 200 people.( I have a really big family) and about an hour into it I start smelling sh!t. First thought that comes to my mind… Oh god is it the mones ? So I keep smelling it and its driving me nuts and even though I am experianced with mones I am getting self consious. But I stayed pretty calm about it and asked a bunch of people if they smelled it and they said they did so we are all checking our shoes and finding nothing and I am thinking its got to be the mones. Come to find out later my uncle had fertilized the garden the day before and when it got hot the smell started to waft up so I was all self consious for nothing. I had quite a few people smell me to and they all said I smelled great. Once I found out I was so relieved I couldnt stop giggling.

Tickle Me Elmo (it’s so weird to call someone that, LOL), I can’t detect the cops in ISexi but I can detect them in MX134–not everyone can, but if ISexi smells weird to you, I just wanted to give you a heads up that at least in my experience, MX134 is stronger.

People do have the ability to learn to smell pheromones. A good percentage of people can’t smell -none, but many of them can learn to.

Yes. I can smell them on myself when there has been no artificial application.

When I first started wearing the Androtics pheromones my wife and I both had recurrent dreams of being covered in feces or urine. see Dreams with Fecal or Urine Themes

Those dreams went away for both of us after a few exposures. I think if you give yourself a few exposures your brain may reinterpret the stimulus and the unpleasant associations may go away. They did for me.

I think this is a natural reaction. Part of us understands where we have encountered these stimuli before. Fortunately, the unpleasant effect on most others does not seem to be as strong as we might imagane.

A scented lotion or oil will bind the pheromones also wouldn’t it? I think I’ve read that it will make them last longer by slowing diffusion. Nice side benefit for layering.

I’ve noticed that instant shine pheromone scent really sticks around also, I plan to try perfuming first with it to see if that helps.

Well, I guess it has a long lasting smell. I sprayed Instant Sexiness ‘A’ on my friend’s chest around 11.00am and I can still smell it on her later that night.:slight_smile:

I tried Armani Code over Honesty today. Just a drop on my wrist though… with a lot of Code. It smells actually nice. I still notice the phero smell, but it’s not unpleasant. But then I don’t really notice any effect on myself nor on people. I guess it was not enough? But anything more than this for me is just too much…:frowning:

Pink Sugar is WAY too sweet for me. There’s no way I can wear that… by itself or with phero.

Well, nothing in Sexiness even begins to blend well with or can be hidden by my perfume. I wear L by Lolita Lempika and it’s more or less my ‘signature’. But with the Sexiness underneath? Iiieeeeuuuuu. Nasty.

I hate to say it but it appears that these products are just too horrible smelling - and as for results, I see nothing out of the norm. While I do not expect miracles, I would prefer than my honey not say “iiieeeuu…what is that smell?” when he approaches me.

I can’t imagine that I’d spend further $$ on these products.
