Not exactly sure what you mean by “middle of the road guys” - do you mean androgynous? My guess is you mean, regular guys, not effeminate, not ubermasculine either?
I’m not sure about the idea of effeminate (or more feminine-smelling) men appealing to bi women … my history includes some relationships with women yet I’ve always felt (emotionally sympathetic, but) sexually repulsed by effeminate men who’ve expressed interest in me. I’ve had other bi women friends who’ve felt the same. Their male lovers and husbands tend to be quite masculine in appearance and behavior, though they may be creative/artistic in temperament.
The very idea gives me the willies! But then I’m not a typical American female … much as I admire Johnny Depp, (whose persona embodies seduction for many women) and I think he’s beautiful and brilliant - that level of androgyny is not sexually appealing to me.
We can theorize about how all this might work … but then we TEST! Congruency seems to be crucial, though. If you smell like something you’re not, then you make yourself seem a freak of nature.
i can only speak for my experience and other bi women i know.
most (surely not all) bi women like women who are girly,and men who are masculine. women who are attracted to gay men would find a female-smelling man attractive, and we know from watching ricki lake in the 80’s that its pretty common.
i think i am seeing the generation of 20 something women digging the metrosexuals, i personally dont but then again im single…still…after 16 months…but who’s counting…
I have spent more than half of my life hanging out with gay men, my best friend being one of them. I have never been attracted to gay men, personally, because I know that they are not attracted to me. And this is why I don’t think the gay man image would work in a seduction scenario. It is not very arousing to be with a man who you assume does not want you or that you are not his type. Of course there are those women who are attracted to gay men, but I think those women are rare.
How do you know if you have just met a man if he is gay or not?
I don’t dress like a metrosexual. Don’t walk, talk or dress or look like a gay person. Close friends (girls) have expressed that I have a serious expression most of the time, kind of CE syndrome. I believe I am neither effeminate nor overtly masculine.
All this discussion really makes me want to just don 5-6 sprays of ISexi all over me and see what happens . Ummmm…maybe not.
That is a good question. I am usually able to spot a gay man nearly instantly. My gay friend and I just look at each other and say, “Uh huh.” I have been wrong, of course, but usually not. I can’t really define how I can sense this. I guess it is just because I have been around gay men so much.
As for the experiment with I sexiness, go for it. I can’t wait to hear about what happens. Experimentation is always fun.

Im new to this forum, however i want to express that this thread is has some great points raised about the general nature of male and female sexuallity.
It occures to me that there are a thousnd examples of androgyny being used to attract and allure within show biz, fashion and music. To name but a few, David bowie, Prince, Maddonna, Marc Bolan, bon jovi, jonny depp, decaprio, all those boy bands, etc
I dont think there is anything new in noting that a certain male androgynous vibe can at least catch people attention.
However, i do think there is a vast difference between attracting attention socially and attracting sexual desire. And its not easy to generalise about peoples sexual desires. However i do think they are both strongly related.
I think it was countesszero who said she was experimenting with Dirty and that it was working out great with her boyfriend. But surely this is a much much mor clear cut and controled experiment than going out in the street or a club and attracting randoms! If your already in a relationship then i guess you only have to cater for yourself and your partner, but if your going fishing then its a question of choosing the right baite!

i agree 110% about the difference between experimenting with someone that you are already in a relationship with and going fishing.
i think you can rock any pheromone mix you wear if you wear it like you would wear an outfit; you cant wear leather pants and go swimming, and you cant go to a wedding in a bikini.
if you wear the pheromones expressing your a force to be reckoned with, you better play the part,and everyone will notice. reason being is that even if someone claims they have a type they are interested in, they ALL fall for charisma. charisma is found on anyone comfortable in their own skin and flaunting that fact.
I don’t recall commenting on this subject… I’m still witholding judgement. Working on my own “game” still. I don’t think I’ve ever considered adding a “gay” component… or made any comments one way or the other if someone else considered it.

Interesting…that’s completely the opposite of my experiences when I was using cops a few years ago. One of the reasons I stopped using them was that all my buddies’ gfs started blatantly hitting on me…in front of them in many cases. It was more than a little awkward.

But if that was your results, I’m game for another round of experiments on copulins. What was your source and dose, and what did you wear it with? I’ll also be curious about the strength of your certainty these were heterosexual females, not bisexual, and how many times you observed this. Did you already know these women, or did you get this from complete strangers too?

I applaud all of you who want to try it and report your results. I only inserted my comments about bi women because of all the theorizing about why this should work, the logical underpinnings of which seemed faulty to me in light of my own life experience … I’m very interested to hear how it does work.
