I have been using 4 sprays of instant shine to my neck. 2.5MCG each, so 10mcg when I use it. Could it be that I am using too little (or maybe too much) also could it be that it is defective? My instant shine smells pretty bad…
Please tell me that you’re asking after a weeks worth of testing, and not one outting.

Keep testing with 4 sprays for a week, and after that, up it, or down it to 5 or 3 sprays. Then come back and tell us if you’ve found that 4 sprays was too much or too little. Tis all about testing, GD.

The thing that makes artificial pheromones successful is when they complement both your individual body chemistry and persona. And, because no two persons are a like, the effectiveness of individual products are subject to wide variance. In other words, not everything works for everybody.
I can honestly say I have about a 25% success rate with the many products I’ve tried. However, sometimes a dud product may reveal itself as useful after long testing of dosage, situations and mixes. Some work right off the bat. And some popular products that seem to work for everybody don’t do a thing for me. Shine has been subtle at best for me. And, yes, it stinks sorta like old socks…

I did notice you said you sprayed all 4 sprays to your neck. Try 2 to neck 1 to hair and 1 split to wrists. Did you start at 4 or did you work up to 4 with no results?
What does it smell like to you? Do you just not like the neroli? Do you notice the smell in the bottle or once it hits your skin? I dont get the old socks smell from mine like gegogi does. Mine smells good. I get lots of compliments on it. Could be the smell changes once it hits the skin due to your natural chemisty.
Lastly its sometimes hard to see the results of shine because to me it is subtle especially when used around people who are already upbeat. Use it in different enviroments. I first noticed a pattern with people who were normally grumpy by nature like my boss. But as M&M said it really does take some time to get a good hit from some products. There are those that you will get lucky with and get a hit the first night and other products that will take a littl work.

Yeah I’ve tried it for about two weeks. I didnt want to change it to 5, because I thought it will be kind of too much, but I’ll try that next

Are you using the regular strength or the x2 strength? I use x2 but rarely, if ever, go above 2 sprays.

I have been using Instant Shine now and then for nearly a year and at first was spraying on my neck but i usually get good reactions from others when i use one spray on the back of each hand, of which i have a little sniff at now and then, he he my own lil hit. 
Are you using TAA, the experimone molecule, by any chance since you mention 2.5 mcg.
Instant Shine has 12.5 mcg of TAA and a total of 15 mcg of pheromones per spray. So 4 sprays is 60 mcg. You might be using too much. Start with 1 spray. Try applying a spray immediately before going in a public indoor location, like coffee shop and try to be a little more vigilant about people’s reactions.

“Old socks smell”… might be because I have an unscented IS, so I’m getting the natural essence of feet! My first (scented) bottle smelled like sour or fermenting fruit. Both scents fade quickly and cover easily.
yup, IS has 12.5 mcg of TAA and 2.5 mcg of other steering pheromones per spray.
Anyways, forget math, I just want to point out that lower number of sprays might work for you. Also reactions are easier to see in a crowded relaxed setting where people are more prone to noticing each other, like a coffee shop, bars, clubs etc.

Well I just payed acute attention to the smell of instant shine today. It smells horrible while still in the bottle and within the first 5-10 minutes when on your skin. After that it turns into a light very pleasant smell. But I still get nil on effects, on my self and on others.
Used a spray of Instant Shine to the back of each hand again today whilst attending a political seminar for young ALP members.
I spent lots of time walking around and stopping besides seated individuals just blabbing any small talk and ensuring the subjects got a good close up whiff of the stuff from the back of my hands.
I haven’t used it for some time and i was delighted to see just how refreshingly magnetic it can be, amounst aquaintences as well as strangers, i cant ever remembering it working so good, but at lest for me its so much more effective on the back of my hands than when i used most of it up on my neck previously.
Can you believe it that i can still smell the fragrance of it now even after over 10 hours, and i have washed my hands with water and towelled dry 15 minutes ago and for some strange reason it has released the fragrance again, this stuff sure is meant to be noticed.
Actually i had decided some months back not to bother with Instant Shine Then after reading one of Gegogi’s posts i decided to give it a blast on the back of my hands, and it has turned my decision around because i would not hesitate in ordering it in the future.
The next timme I get Instant Shine, its gonna be X2, if only to save having to use lots of sprays all the time, and the smell is quite funky (not in a bad way)… I think Shine smells delicious personally…
In the whole time i have been wearing Instant Shine over most of the last year i have not even noticed its fragrance as was my perception that it didn’t have much.
But since i have only recently used it again several times and have started to apply it to the back of ma hands, i now can perceive the fragrance and understand that it could be perceived as fresh and enticing, i really dont mind the smell, And it also really seems to impart an impression of crisp freshness, something you would expect a young rich professional or a young successful academic cool guy type of vibe fragrance wise, Id say its the fragrance a distinguished moderate person would exhibit.
I really have no idea what the fragrance is actually called in reality, but it seems to me to be aptly suited to the product, And i would guess that this fragrance would go down well when used to entice Asian girls.

yeai bought IS a while ago, and made thread about it, but decide to post here…I tried it until the bottle ranout, i tried everything, 1,2,3,4,5 sprays everywhere like everyone states, different spots, im confident, and it smells good, but i dont notice anything from anyone, then when i ran out of Instant shine, i just used normal cologne (cool water) and it the same as if i werent using pheremones. Guess it does nothing for me 
ill probable try ammo next time.
