1 week of testing Instant Shine regular strength regular bottle.

Scent. Strong Perfume-sih like but no scent that I could distinguish other than maybe a little citrus? Not bad but I’m more used to pure essential oils. I chose to cover it with O from BPAL which is sweet and almost baby powerish on me. I think something a little fruitier would work better next time I wear it. And I doubt I’d even need more than a dab or two.

Day 1 (Friday). 4 sprays - one to each side of neck, 1 split on wrist, 1 on front upper chest. (I’m 40, so I started with three then thought maybe 4 would be better since I’ve read on here that late 30 + tends to need more sprays.) Maybe it gave me a little buzz :wink:

Noticed effects to others.

Seemed to only effect 30 somethings and up.

Some women were smiling at me, extra courteous, and even one was very chatty/friendly (she was probably in her late 50s or early 60s). One sales clerk didn’t seem to be in a particularly good mood until I got to the register and then she seemed relaxed and friendly.

Two men smiled at me as they walked by. This almost never happens to me. Direct eye contact and noticeable smiles. I think they both said hi too, but I don’t remember because I might have been a little buzzed myself lol

All of this is a somewhat unusual because I’m usually in my own world and once in a while people in the market will be courteous or smile, but ONLY when I’m in one of my bouncy youthful moods. Today, I was working off a not very good night’s sleep, pretty tired, and semi-blah. So the self-effects might have been more of what contributed to other effects than anything else.

Time response self effects probably came out within the first 30 minutes. Didn’t notice anything right away other than the perfume-ish scent gave me a little head buzz.

Self Effects
Relaxed, peaceful, pretty sure I had a small smile most of the time.

Duration of effect

3hours - during the time I was running errands in various stores.

I have a date tonight and I think I’m going to try IS/a on him. I had a date with him last night and didn’t use anything, so I’m curious to see if I notice any difference.

Assuming you didn’t have it customized, Shine comes w/ a neroli scent which I believe is made from the bitter (or sweet) orange tree so this explains the citrus smell.:slight_smile:

Looks like you got some nice Shine hits as well as self-effects. Shine tends to give off a youthful vibe too, which is nice :wink: As for the buzz, the effects of that should lessen somewhat the more you use it.

Neroli is an EO and actually an ingredient in a lot of purfumes. Should blend well with almost any thing.

Good to notice the congruency with your own behavior/attitude. I’m starting to learn to manipulate my own behavior to match the self effects of pheros and i even get a few hits with nothing on.

I’m all new to this pheros thing. OK, so today I tried Instant Shine…
2 sprays, 1 to hair and 1 to chest. I didn’t notice any difference at all.
I thought 2 sprays would be okay for someone who’s starting.

The place was crowded, it was actually a city square with people doing community services. I’d assume people (even my friends on the bus) were actually all happy/chatty for doing this. But I didn’t notice any changes (seems like IO yesterday had a better effect), except for this one girl (about 25) and one guy (btween 30-40) that could not stop talking, all the time, but it might just have been their nature.

In fact, I even thought people were evicting me. They were happy, but usually my colleagues come talk to me and today they didn’t.

Wow is 2 sprays really all that much to be a ghost effect? Are pheros all that powerful so people evict me? :slight_smile:

Day 2 (Saturday). 4 sprays - one to each side of neck, 1 back of neck, 1 on front of neck.

Noticed effects to others.

A cashier in the market started a conversation with me when she saw my gym tag on my key chain. She was curious about it, so I gave her a bunch of info. She was really happy and very thankful and upbeat.

I think I was more helpful to her because it boosted my mood.

Range effects noticed at 3 feet.

Time response self effects took around an hour for me to even notice anything.

Self Effects
I was in a bad mood and Shine didn’t seem to do much for me for a while, but I was able to take a relaxing nap after my errands and that’s unusual for me. Also was in a better mood when I woke up.

Duration of effect

5 hours - even after my nap I woke up in a better mood and cooked up a storm.

Wow, I must say I had a very similar experience! I never take naps and today I did after using IS… Curious. IS didn’t seem to affect me at all, but I also felt better when I woke up.

Until you get used to it, a high dose of Shine can actually have a crash effect after a few hours. I think your brain just gets a little tired after getting all hyped-up! I don’t get the crash anymore unless I REALLY megadose and keep it strong all day long…then I just sleep like a baby all night!

That’s good to know, I started testing with 2 sprays of Shine this morning and spent most of the morning with a daft smile on my face. It’s now half past four and I feel like I could sleep on my desk :open_mouth: Or is it just because it’s Monday?

Haha! LOL! Probably both!!! I feel like I need a nap here, and I’ve only just started my day!!!:open_mouth: Of course, I haven’t had my daily dose of Shine yet either. Sometimes, I think being able to sleep with your eyes open would be a good skill to have! :smiley:

Just refreshed with a couple more sprays ready for college tonight and raring to go. Now, I might just “accidentally” have an ammo hit as well or would that be mean to the ladies?

Noticed effects to others.

People seemed friendlier around me, more likely to make eye contact and smile. This isn’t the case at my gym or at least not that I’ve noticed. And the people who I have been a little friendly with seemed to notice me a little more and go out of their way to smile and say hi. Pretty cool actually. Now, I’m not sure if part of this effect was because I felt more relaxed from shine’s self effect.

Range effects noticed at 6-7 feet.

Time response For self effects, not sure. Maybe shortly after applied? For others, they seemed to respond once they were within a 6-7 foot radius.

Self Effects
The most notable self effect today was that I felt less guarded and more relaxed. I noticed I was more likely to make eye contact with some people and just seem more approachable or relaxed in general. Like I didn’t care if I happened to look at someone and they looked like they were about to make eye contact or look my way. That’s a major difference for me because I’ve gotten very good at walling myself off and not making eye contact.

Duration of effect

I was at the gym for 2-3 hours. By the end of my workout I still noticed some effects but it seemed like it might have tapered off.

I’m really curious how dripping with sweat effects diffusion and duration. I did 45 minutes of cardio first and I always pick equipment under fans as it’s cooler. I wonder the pheros and cops wore down quicker because of that?

Oh and another interesting thing was that it seemed like when I was on the cardio equipment where the fans were, one guy was sort of glued to the area talking and working out. When I switched machines to across the gym, he strangely enough ended up in that 6-7 foot radius and talked so some other person the whole time I was on that machine. He’s normally very talkative, but not usually within my vicinity so noticeably.

As for the cops: I didn’t really notice anything different. It was kind of as if I just had shine on from what I could tell, but I’m 40 so it might take more than a few drops to notice.

Day 4 (Tuesday). 5 sprays - 1 to each side of neck, 1 back of neck, 1 on front of neck, 1 under chin

This stuff is the bomb! People are chatty with me and even when I’ve got eighty things on my mind, it manages to help keep me light enough that I can get out of my head and talk to people. There is a woman I see at my gym regularly and have said hi to before. She’s always been snide or kind of aloof. Today I saw her in the locker room (about 5-6 feet away) and said hi and she said hi back with a big smile. Kind of gave me a different impression of her. Also had a sales clerk ask me what I was wearing because it smelled so nice and light. I told her it was essential oils with neroli and one named Alice. She loved it.

Then I came home and took another nap. This stuff makes me want to nap. I wonder when those effects wear off?

I would wager that this guy was responding to the cops more than the Shine!:wink:

So, seems like 5 sprays is your sweet spot??? At four sprays, your range was not as wide and the effects not as great as what you seem to be getting from 5 sprays.

As for needing a nap from wearing Shine, maybe try spraying a bit more away from your nose like a couple into your hair, 1 to back of neck, and 1 to each side of neck…see if that lessens the self-effects at all.

I have tried Instant Shine and I don’t get any effects at all -other than strong self effects!!- with a couple sprays only. I might have to use more too!

I started with 3 or 4 sprays I think. I figured that since I’m 40 I would need more to compensate for age and how we have more pheromones when we’re teenagers and early 20s and at 35 (I think that was the age I read) they really start to taper off - which makes sense from a reproductive standpoint and Darwinian purposes.

I don’t think two sprays would do squat for me. So maybe that’s the problem your having. Try increasing to 4 and see if you notice a difference. Turns out 5 is perfect for me, but now I have to not spray too near my face because it makes me want to nap. :stuck_out_tongue:

It turns out, Instant Shine wakes me up and makes me feel giggly!
I am in my late 20’s but I am so new to pheros that I feel like I need to keep experimenting a lot!

It does that for me at first too. Then later comes the happy nap. :wink:

Late 20s… I’d say add a third spray (just from my own experience). At 5 sprays I noticed even more of a difference in people around me. They didn’t need to be right next to me to be effected.

Have you noticed any difference in people around you with two sprays? At 4, which was where I started, people were friendly and more likely to just start random conversations or seemed to be in a better mood. 5 sprays seemed to have cast a bit of a wider net for me though.

With two sprays of Instant Shine I only noticed self effects, pretty amazing I got to say, I started singing and had this big smile stuck on my face lol!
But nothing on people around me.
I got the Instant Sexiness, Instant Shine and mx235 so I tend to use a little bit of each together instant of more of just one. I guess I should try more of just Instant Shine.
Do you think that mixing several pheros at the same time can cancel the efficiency of one particular phero?
