I just received my latest order and I could smell the butt cheesiness as soon as I opened the envelope 
The grapefruit did smell very very delicious, though. Does anyone have advice on how to cover the cop-y smell without destroying the deliciousness of grapefruit? Or did I just make a terrible error and will have to suffer the smell til I finish the bottle?
Why dont you wait until the drydown, then cover with grapefruit smelling perfume right over the spritzes.
Sorry, I’m no help but, omg! I ordered for instant shine with cops in grapefruit scent too!!! Jinx! 
is it 5X cops? (it shouldn’t be sooo bad to cover then, since it’s got less cops than 20X which would be a bit more difficult)
I’ve always found that any of LP’s parfum oils cover eow.

I’ve spotted a grapefruit-y perfume, so I’m going to try Julia’s suggestion. After dry down, it’s not quite as bad but the grapefruit has almost dissapeared.
Julia’s suggestion is good. You’ve gotta let cops dry down really well in order to cover successfully. I let mine dry down at least twenty minutes. If the grapefruit perfume doesn’t do it for ya…you can try something else fruity that would compliment the grapefruit. Selva is right about the LP potions. I use them all the time and they cover cops extremely well…and they have sugared grapefruit which I believe is now available by special order. Of course, other perfume oils you like will work as well. Perfume oils are great because they diffuse slowly so the scent hangs in there and that’s what you’re looking for when you want to cover cops. A fragrance that’s too light or diffuses too quickly just can’t handle the job.

I happen to be a big fan of grapefruit fragrances,
some of my favorite ones are Babydoll by Yves St. Laurent or Vanilla-Grapefruit by Lavindin? (its at Sephora-all natural vanilla based perfume-I love this!).
When I wear Babydoll, guys always compliment me (even w/out pheros) on how wonderful I smell.

I’m thinking of perhaps splashing out for Marc Jacob’s Grapefruit splash or Jo Malone’s Grapefruit. I do so love that acid/sweet scent.
If you want to really cover cops, you need something heavy. Cause cops are heavy. Light fun florally girly scents aren’t up to the job, IMO. LP is good because their scents are very full bodied and a bit on the heavy side–at least the ones I’ve sampled are. Bella is right, their sugared grapefruit might do the trick. Or maybe something tooty frooty.

I have it in 20X the cops grapefruit and I love it. The cops I am used to so they dont bother me and no one smells them. Grapefruit is much like neroli it go’s will any cover. If you dont want to distort the grapefruit scent get a grapefruit cover.
If you check the evil enablers thread down in the parfum section by me and inkling we list a bunch of vendors we use to get our custom scents from. Good stuff and inexpensive.

No, keep away from the evil enablers Because of this site, I wandered on over to LP. And it has become my other addiction besides Androtics. So there is where the rest of my $$ is going to. Oh and I love Cuddle Bunny, but when a woman asked me what was that delicious scent I was wearing I just said CB, because I’m a grown woman and felt a little embarassed to say I was wearing Cuddle Bunny.
