Intro and questions from a lesbian newbie from LA!

Hello! I’m a 21 year old female from LA. I’ve been interested in pheromones for quite a while, after reading some scientific papers on how members of the GLBT community react differently to pheromones than their straight counterparts. This is a personal experiment to satisfy my curiosity about pheromones, and also, of course, to hopefully get some exciting positive effects!

I identify as lesbian, and am androgynous, a good in-between of feminine and masculine. I’m generally outgoing and fun, but tend to be shy in the relationship and sexual aspect, i.e. I never make the first move. This is a huge problem with girls I’m actually interested in as a possible romantic partner, because I tend to resign myself to treating them as a friend. Fling-wise, sometimes, even if the other person literally scratches her nails down my arms with sex screaming in her eyes, I sit there smiling like the virginal big brother. Another problem is that being lesbian, you never know if the girl is straight or if she’s actually interested.

I’ve looked through the products (which I am very excited to try once I get my welcome gift cert!!) and I’m tending towards the male products. I’m thinking of Instant Shine to get me past that confidence barrier, and TUTH for getting girls interested and obvious about it.

What do you think? All tips and advice greatly appreciated! Great to meet y’all and thanks~

Welcome to PheroTalk!

IShine is a unisex product that creates a feelgood vibe around you - makes you look more approachable. It always gives me a nice (social) confidence boost. Probably the best allround product this company sells, can be paired with anything.

I wouldn’t recommend TUTH for your situation though. It contains a strong masculine pheromone called androsteNone. You will only attract straight females with this, which is not what you want… Also you’ll probably confuse the hell out of them and make them feel uncomfortable. Even for men this is not a product you can wear out in the open without buffers. Androstenone is liquid penis - has a sexually aggressive vibe.

Go with the female attraction blends like Instant Sexiness version A or B if you want to attract lesbians. Lesbians are usually NOT attracted to a male pheromone signature.

There are also some interesting female mixes that are getting good reviews. I’m sure a female member can chime in.

There was a recent study on pheromones in a lab setting found here. This study did not go into all the pheromones out there now but you are looking for products naturally occurring on women such as estratetraenol which by my guess is in Instant Sexiness A or B.

Thanks a lot for your advice guys - seems like I will try out ISA after all. Definitely IS too. I may try a male product too (TUTH or Ammo maybe) because I’m interested in lesbian reactions to pheromones - the research is not so definite as compared to the research on gay men, who react similar to heterosexual women. It’ll be an interesting experiment!

I’d like to purchase my first order asap - how long does it usually take to get the gift cert?

For experimental views:

Androsterone on female skin is roughly 20 pmols. Men range from about 20-1000. You can combine male essence with a mix of Sexiness A and B. Women have tested wearing straight AMMO, A314 and TUTH. Generally, they seemed to strong for female use. You might get some perfumer’s alcohol, empty TOGO’s and dilute AMMO. Women occasionally wore a 1/2 spray of TUTH. These were hetero. The AMMO and Sexiness are backed by guarantee. A starter dose might be 1 spray of ammo diluted with 3 parts alcohol.

Data on erone is from the book The Scented Ape. Combining Instant Sexiness A or B with 1/4 to 1/2 spray of diluted AMMO might fit the context below. Data on bisexuality and pheromones is lacking. I can offer no promises, only some experimental ideas based on books and previous user reports. You are correct however, gay men respond as straight women to men wearing male mones.

Gay or not gay your going to use the same pheromones as hetros would wear for there gender. Gay women are attracted to womens pheromones spiked with just a tiny bit of male essence. Gay men are attracted to male pheromones with just a small amount of softening female pheromones. I do think part of your problem is you are using alot pheromones for the wrong gender. Its sends confusing messages. If she is gay she will be attracted to female pheromones. If she is BI she will be attracted to both. If she senses a heavy male signature coming from you perhaps she thinks you are involved with a man. Simular to the effect cops on a man has the player effect.

Thanks a lot for your insight monesmadedoit. I just purchased to-go bottles of IS/A, IShine, IH and Ammo - i just couldn’t wait for the g.c, I was way too excited! I’ll try out your suggestion of diluting the Ammo and using it with IS/A i’ll let you guys know how it goes.

On a side note, I was wondering if some commercial perfume have mones added in them? I notice that whenever I wear some of my Fierce by A&F girls just seem to show more interest. Anyone has any insight into this?

Those are good items. If you haven’t any perfumer’s alcohol, try 151-proof plain drinking alcohol or everclear to dilute into an empty atomizer or TOGO bottle. Don’t open the AMMO. Spray maybe 1 mL into a bottle and to that add 3 mL alcohol. You have then 1/4 strength AMMO. Girls always want to experiment with the male products, which is OK. This is the general guidance I’d give. I’d say AMMO because that would give you erone and enone in amounts reasonable for a select number of females on the highest upper ranges of molecules on their skin. These women’s values overlap those of men on the lowest end. The question of women with high amounts of testosterone (and male pheros) has been studied. No firm conclusions, but some of these women may exhibit more “Tom Boy” behavior, without regard to sexual orientation or physique. They’re very much still normal females.

Thinking it over again, I might have suggested Summer Ammo. The FF21 in AMMO is pretty strong masculine. Although they might be able to do a neroli custom lab fragrance. IG, TUTH and Summer AMMO are probably the most amenable to dilution. Dilute IG (1/4) I would think the most conservative, as it lacks -enone. Some women get crazy libido wearing -eNone. Some just hate it. Please report your findings. There are of course GLBT members and customers. Not being myself (and since Androtics chooses to focus its efforts on the straight community, user feedback is the only way you can help others and yourself. There are also certain guys like myself who use small amounts of TAL, TAH and copulins. Although Instant Sexiness, even diluted, seems counterproductive for me to wear. The steering is to complex for me to develop valid mix ideas. If you post feedback, I can try to give you some research and experience-based experimental items to test. It can be challenging and rewarding, with successes and failures. Straight erone, -eNone, P78, P74, TAL and TAH would be good to test.
