You also have to remember that Tigerlilly has been using the stuff for quite a while and has a good understanding of what her sweet spot is. As a new user, you’ll really need to figure out how much is “enough.” Too much of a good thing doesn’t do you any good either.

But the bigger problem is the smell. As I said, it stinks of BO and I don’t want to go around smelling like that.

Listen, if you spray it to the back of your head, the smell will FADE and YOU wont smell it anymore.
Neroli doesn’t linger very long.
IF you are a super sniffer and can smell the pheros in it (IF your nose is sharp enough to pick out the supposed levels of alphanol in there…) then the solution is to spray it away from your nose.
OTHER PEOPLE do NOT smell the BO.
If it’s the SCENT (Neroli) that you hate… it will fade. It is designed to meld with other perfumes. Did you TRY to cover it??
Also, yes, some pheros work very quickly, while others take a while to effect a person. Realize there is an underlying psychology ALSO at work. Your pheros that you are wearing become part of your “signature.” For people that JUST meet you, for the first time, wearing those pheros, then they assume that that is YOU at all times - no one assumes you are wearing fake pheros. 
So in THAT case, yes, it can be construed as being an “instant” reaction. Its the reaction that people have on you, because they have NO OTHER reaction to have.

Stromwarrior and I got our orders around the same time. I LOVE the scent of the IS/a however my best friend also says it stinks.What gives? I thought you could not smell Phermones.I hope the store will perhaps let us try different scents for a smaller fee then the current 15.00. I say this because my friend loved the reaction she got from her husband but refuses to wear something she says has a stinky underscent. Geez,I hope I don’t stink as I LOVE the smell but here are 2 people that or both complaining about the stench.
Some people can smell them. Not all.
I have to wonder if its psychosomatic. Do you smell the pheros because you know there’s something strange in there? Did you tell your friend there were pheros in the spray?
You can pay for a custom scent addition - may I recommend grapefruit? The best thing to do is ask the store for an exchange, if you are dead set on it being a no-go for you.

Has ANYONE tried covering the scent? It’s an EASY scent to cover. I wear cops, the most foul smelling stuff on the planet, and I can cover it with ease.

Some of the pheromones smell, period. Some people can smell them, some can’t. uncovered IFM smells like cat pee to me, no-one else has ever commented.
My ex hated the smell of MX274 to the point that applying it made her gag, it was easily covered. I can tell you that, even though I knew she was wearing it, I couldn’t detect anything amiss about IS/A apart from my own reaction to the pheromones You are conscious of the smell and are hyper aware, other people will not notice. however, if you require a practical demonstration, come down to Cornwall and I’ll show you

I don’t try covering the scent as I LIKE it. I can sniff this stuff right out of the bottle and I get this strang high feeling. You know giddy? I am a new user however so maybe thats what is supposed to happen. Also can I put on EOW and put ISA/a over it?

And my comment on covering it was directed to your friend and SW, who do not like the scent.
Is this directed towards me? I’m not quite sure why you are having a go at me. I’ve specified 2 problems, the lack of effect and the extreme smell of BO, and I haven’t, especially with the BO problem, been given any constructive advice. Telling me to spray it somewhere where I can’t smell it isn’t going to help for 2 reasons:
- I’ve tried it again today, spraying on the back of my shirt and I can still smell it strongly, I’m going to have to wash this shirt now because it stinks of BO.
- Even if I couldn’t smell it, why would I want to risk having other people think I smell like BO? If I can smell it this strongly, there is no reason why anyone else wouldn’t. My own mother asked if I’d been to the gym (I hadn’t) and told me to have a shower, she could smell it too.
I’ve tried waiting for it to dry and spraying pink sugar over the top… now it just smells like I’ve got BO and I’m trying unsuccessfully to cover it up with perfume.
As for me expecting some kind of hit with it, and people here implying that I shouldn’t necessarily expect anything at once, well it’s been days now, spending up to a couple of hours at a time in the company of men, and nothing unusual has happened. I’ve also been searching through old threads and there are plenty of tales of people trying out a new product for the first time and getting hits, so there’s alot of conflicting advice on here.
I’ve tried 5 other pheromone products from different companies and got great hits with 3 of them. I thought andriotics would be even better than that. Although, from alot of the descriptions of the “hits” people think that they have been getting with andriotics products, it makes me wonder if they are imagining it and exaggerating what is happening in their minds, thinking someone is giving them extra attention because they are wearing this stuff.
It seems people are welcome to air their views about andriotics products on here, as long as the view is a complimentary one.
As for a “neroli” scent, the product I have been sent does not contain any scent other than that of BO. I also don’t have any of the “self-effects” from it that people claim to be getting.
It seems to be just the IS/A that stinks, I got samples of a few of the others and sprayes them just to see whether they smell bad or not. Although none of them smell nice and all have a slight underlying BO smell, it’s just the IS/A that really stinks to high heaven.
I am going to repeat my advice that you submit a ticket on this. If you don’t smell neroli in your bottle, and you do in the others you’ve received from the Instant line, possibly something is wrong with your bottle.

Yes, I have done. They said I can return it, but it’s one of the “to-go” bottles, it’s not really worth the return postage to america. Tbh all of the andriotics tester bottles I’ve got (IS/B, IH, IO, MX135, Instant shine) all have a smell of BO about them, but in the IS/A it is so strong it smells like I’ve been in the gym for 5 hours and am drenched in sweat.
btw I do have the neroli scent in the others but not the IS/A
Anyway some of them were free samples, I can’t remember which, I don’t think a refund is the way to go. I just want to know why mine smell so bad when other people don’t think theirs do.
If you got IS/A unscented (did you order it that way? I’d be surprised if they permitted a new user to do so; there are many reasons for this …) then that is why it smells bad. It will require a perfume cover if you got it unscented. Nothing in the regular consumer line is unscented, unscented products are for advanced users only.
Pheromones have a smell; they can remind people of sweat, urine, sweaty feet even; pheromones are naturally present in these bodily excretions and supply some of their characteristic odors, which is why you recognize it as a BO smell. So yes, that IS normal for pheromones to smell like that. You’re apparently been happier with products from other places that are more highly perfumed; maybe you should stick with that.
Some of them are relatively pleasant but most people are not going to be comfortable wearing them without some kind of cover, and they generally work much better with a scent package not only for cover, but for enhanced diffusion.
If you got your IS/A as a freebie, it’s sad that you’re not enjoying it but really … Have you tried applying a perfume over it? Because that is the answer to your problem with it smelling like BO. You can even open up your to-go bottle and spray some perfume directly into the bottle, or add some perfume oil into it. But just applying perfume over the IS/A application points (best after it dries down a few minutes) would be very simple to do.
Yes, I did say earlier that I tried applying the IS/A, waiting for it to dry and putting pink sugar over it, but that just made it smell like I’ve got BO and am trying unsuccessfully to cover it up with perfume.

Sweetheart it sounds like you just have a hyperkeen sniffer and are smelling the pheros my girlfriend has the same problem when I wear them she can smell them but I can’t.
She says they smell like man rofl.
However, I’m able to cover them up with a combo of victorias secret delicate petals and the pink sugar to her satisfaction. Try layering a floral and following with a hint of sweet smell.
I have yet to get any complaints about the “smell” from the general populace except with mx135.
As for Is/a and Is/b on the original topic of this thread.
I think I like is/a better for myself but my boyfriend is fond of is/b.
Is/b is overkill for me it makes me feel weepy and meh I also get bullied alot when wearing it -.-
Is/a has a hint of “bitch” mode tossed into it thats nice to a degree but could easily become overwhelming.Still testing these.
However, so far not overwhelmed with the results. I like mx135 better actually whatevers in that is kiccck azz.
