Is ammo more than the sum of its parts? (What are carriers?)

Alright time for a question. Trying to delve a bit deeper into just how these babies work here.

Spurred by this here thread on the specific ingredients of a product. (A very useful thread if you haven’t seen it)

We can see HEAVY AMMO is 5mcg Androstenone, 5mcg Androsterone and 5mcg Alphanol.

IG contains 15mcg of Androsterone.
IH contains 10mcg of Alphanol
TUTH contains 2.5mcg of Androstenone.

Does this mean that 1/3 of a spray of IG, 1/2 a spray of IH and 2 sprays of TUTH equal HEAVY AMMO?
I know the answer is no due to carriers/steering mones, but I’d still like to ask the question and see what explanations I get.
What about a similar mix of pure experimones?

The reason I started thinking about what differences there might be was after reading some useful posts about carriers/steerers. (What’s the correct term for them?)

Now I can see that IG has some mystery pheromones, which I assume are some kind of carrier, and I know TUTH has them. Unless I’m mistaken IH doesn’t have one. These three combined would get a different interpretation than Ammo due to these carriers/steerers.

But if Ammo has no carriers/steerers in it, does this mean the same result could be achieved by mixing Androsterone, Androstenone and Alphanol from the Experimone range? What am I missing? Is the missing piece of the puzzle in my mind that Ammo DOES have carriers/steerers in it?

Will be most grateful for any knowledge on carriers/steerers, I have used the search function

For one thing it means the person who wrote that thread was misinformed and didn’t even get the right ingredients in some products. Nobody, except Harris and Jasmin, knows the actual ingredients in a mix. I can almost guarantee that TAF is in every product in small quantities. Last report on A314 Harris said there were about 17 mones now in A314.

Your basing research off a skewed module

If you really want to get close to what it is, as in terms of what’s published in the forum, I would go with getting a chemset at 5mcg/spray or 2.5mcg/spray of -none, erone, and anol and layering them on and see if you get the same effects.

I think that there is more to AMMO than just the three, but I don’t know. I remember a year or so ago AMMO was OOS for a while, and if my memory serves me correctly it was more than the major 3 molecules that were missing.

Hmm, alright. Thanks Steve, and sorry for the redundant questions.

Sometimes the search function sucks. At least you learned something new today.

I agree with Steve a lot of that info is incorrect or outdated in that thread. I know its hard to keep up with the changes sometimes especially when your new.

However your questions >>>>

No they are not carriers they are just other pheromones that steer the primary pheromone. The carrier is the alcohol and the scent pack.

No because of all the steering mones.

Anone anol and arone are the primary pheromones in AMMO if you mixed them seperately you would have a more rough, less smooth version of it. As Steve mentioned its just the primary pheromones they let us know about but they dont reveal the steering mones.

Your mistaken LOL IH has three human pheromones. One is not revealed it may also contain steering mones.

Keep in mind that scent pack has a lot to do with it as well. They test that for diffusion sillage and its ability to bind well with the mones. So you can have a great pheromone formula and use it with one scent and its awesome then use the same formula with another scent and get no hits at all. These are all things they test.

Tisha

Tish just gave you some great info as per usual.
The alc and fragrance are the carriers that take the molecules from your skin to the persons nose.
A steering molecule is something added to the main molecule (usually in a relatively small quantity by comparison.) that helps to direct the main molecules message.
Think of some seasoning, it might have a nice flavor and aroma but nothing you’d want a full mouth full of, much less a whole meal.
But just a pinch added to a steak or some other dish and it changes the flavor of the meal just enough.
TuTH for example is primarily None. A molecule that can be interpreted as either sexual or almost aggressive. But it has steering molecules in it…what ones I have no idea but most likely molecules of a very sexual nature, but probably only affective alone in huge quantities (just theory), however when added to None which is already a very powerful molecule, the sexual nature of the steering mones, makes the None less ambiguous. None by itself can be sexual, but it can also be interpreted as aggressive depending on the person exposed and the context of the situation. The steering mones act as a sort of insurance policy that helps guarantee that the message is sexual as opposed to aggressive.

So we come to your question about Ammo. If you look at the rest of the AD line it’s pretty easy to figure out what the major mones do.
Looking at IG and A314 and knowing they are mostly Rone based we know that Rone signals status and social dominance. (that a mans Rone production increases with age supports this).
Looking at the main None based products Instant Jerk and TuTH we can figure out that None communicates health, physical prowess and sexuality. Again knowing what we do about men and the age at which they reach their physical and sexual peak this is supported.
Alpha Nol is present in both IO and IH, and those are pretty obvious.

So what does plain old Ammo do. Well while the quanities are not as high per spray as the above mentioned products, it gives you a very basic well rounded boost.
A little none to say “I’m a healthy and fit guy.” and
Some Rone to say “who happens to have some status.”
Now Rone can be seen as too serious, stuffy or old (CAN…not WILL), same as None can be interpreted different ways. So a little Anol helps make the mix more likable and social and helps it to say “who you can have a good time talking to”.

It’s like instant renaissance man in a bottle. It doesn’t have the steering molecules of the other products because it doesn’t need to. If you add too many steering mones for each of the main molecules, it’s like trying to carry on too many conversations at once. The rone adds respect, the None helps keep the Rone from seeming too “old man”, the Nol keeps the None from being too aggressive and the Rone keeps the Nol from being too silly. It adds equal measures of three very attractive qualities in a vague enough way to be flexible. When used together it just says “sexy guy”.

With few exceptions it’s pretty darn work safe as a standalone and compatible with other products if you want to boost some aspects. Like say adding it to A314. You take A314’s dominant, high status male vibe and with a spray or two of ammo you give it a little extra None sexiness and Nol friendliness and the extra Rone helps keep the all important Rone/None ratio from being altered TOO drastically.

Going to chime in here from an official capacity.

Some of these threads where people state they know exactly whats in the products are as good for information as Miss Cleo’s psychic hot-line.

Steve’s right, *only Harris, Jasmin, and myself *know the formulas. The only exceptions being the following:

  • Formulators that actually mix the products for bottling and even then they don’t know the chemical names of the putatives, so truthfully even they don’t know everything.

  • MXs or other products where Harris, Jasmin, or myself have posted the contents. This has a second exception which is where Steve has mentioned the contents of something one of us have indicated to him and he says so. Steve has an intimate knowledge of the product line and also has proprietary information. He’s even passed on information given to him in an e-mail by Harris. So there are probably times when he’s mentioned whats in something because he was told by one of us and it was cleared for release.

Be wary of anybody who states they know a formula or identity of a putative even if they say “Jasmin sent me a personal e-mail saying this is the formula!” - Because unless you actually saw Jasmin post it, it may as well be from that psychic hot-line I mentioned.

Now that being said - it doesn’t really matter WHAT the formula is, what matters is the result (and that we formulated it to specifications). Thats why we named it REALLY easy things like: Instant Gentleman. Instant Honesty. Instant Openness. Instant Shine.

It doesn’t matter what pheromones are in them. And where its important (for example: what contains anderostenone) we’ve told you that much.

I hope this clears everything up.

Thanks a lot you guys, you’re really awesome <3

I should also add that as far as the identities of the putatives, for my own testing purposes (so I can also blind test) while having access to the putatives I have kept myself from reading the identities of ~80% of the putative line.

Really, if you want to be an affective tester - it helps to NOT know whats in things. And it really helps to not let your results/opinion/etc. be spoiled by people who are throwing out guesses.
