Hey, I was in my Physics lab about a week ago, and I don’t know if the reaction I got from my male lab partner is a positive one or not, or weather it is even from the pheromones. I wore about 1/2 package of Perception from love-scents and 3 sprays of Instant Openness. Without pheromones, he would talk to me some, patiently answer some questions I have if I don’t understand the procedure, and tease me a little bit about my dyslexia (nothing I haven’t been able to handle), but mostly talk to my female lab partner (they went to the same high school). He is usually the one to take charge of the lab, but he missed the week before’s lab and probably didn’t know what was going on. He then told me that I was the one in charge (the other girl and I both knew what to do) and started teasing me a little differently. The lab involved carefully placing convex lenses in a spring-loaded holder, so there was some danger in sending glass lenses across the room, and I did have to pick on him for the professor obviously thinking that he was a huge troublemaker, and I didn’t know if that would have any affect on his actions toward me. Later, we had to tape two lenses of different focal lengths together, and when we were finished with the tape, he waded the tape up and would throw it at me off and on throughout the duration of the lab. Later on, I asked him why he kept picking on me and not the other girl, who he obviously knew better, and he said that it was because I wasn’t afraid to pick back while she was too sweet. I think he may have also been staring at me during the lab lecture, but I’m not positive. I only glanced at him out of the corner of my eye (yeah, I know, I should have made sure). So, my question is. . . it is a good thing when a guy teases a girl like that. . . right?
Sorry if my story doesn’t make much sense. I just got back from California and I am a little jet lagged.
Yes, in this case I would bet my life that it is a good thing he is teasing you. It’s not odd for males to act like this, especially younger ones. Of course I have to admit that this behaviour isn’t abnormal for people who are also a little older. Anyway, I flirt with girls all the time, and I also tease them playfully. If you do it right it will work really well; be a little cocky, be a little funny. I don’t through anything at them though Just go with it, this guy’s most likely attracted to you. Good Luck!
Whoo hooo! I might have to get more perception then! Maybe next time I will try instant sexiness, because I like how that one affects me, and I can eventually save money through Androtics.
Well, IDK
I kept teasing and playing around with this one girl in my chem lab class, and so did a buddy of mine.
We sorta ganged up on her but certainly not in a bad way.
We don’t like her.. just as a friend and a way for both parties to enjoy the BORING chem lab.
It can certainly be interpreted in numerous ways.
Just notice how often he’s looking at you behind your back (girls are good at this? haha)
Yeah, that was also a thought of mine. That was how a lot of guys in high school treated me, but I wasn’t dumb. I knew to ignore them and not look into it. However, those guys would say something really dumb or tease me and piss me off and then ask me out right after that. I knew they just wanted to give me hell so I just ignored them. However, this guy I’m talking about didn’t try to make me feel dumb and then ask me out right afterward, so I really didn’t know. I’ll be sure to wear it around him again and see if I can catch him staring at me.
Yes, staring during lecture would be sure sign. If you catch him doing it again, throw him a smile and it will be game over.
As for teasing during lab, I’ve known a few “geeks” in physics class and otherwise who are most comfortable flirting in this manner. Its most usually a sign of interest in my experience. Doubly so if he’s generally below average on the socially ept scale.
I think that its alright as long as he wasn’t hurting you or putting you in danger. He might be starting to fell more comfortable with you and thats his way of expressing it.
I wonder how long it’s gonna take him to ask for your phone number?
Yeah, I think he may be getting more interested. I never thought much of this before, but he walks by my chemistry classroom on some days and he would always look at me with kind of a little smile. It’s not really an outright smile, but sort of one with his eyes. . . do you know what I mean? I just thought of it today when he did it again.
But overall I don’t know what to think of it. I think he has more girls for friends than guys, and I’m pretty certain he’s not gay. I’m not even sure if I want to go out with him. He doesn’t really seem my type, but I still think teasing him a little will be fun, I’ll just be sure not to take it too far to hurt his feelings. I’m just not going to make any moves.
i donno i do this with lots of girls that i dont like.. its just fun u no. i am in high school though so mayb im not “mature” enough lol. however, i also tease as flirting too… if he stares at u then its the latter i think
Yeah, actually I don’t really care if he’s interested or not. I just want to know if he’s acting differently because of the pheromones. I’m not really interested in him, but I have a philosophy that if you give people a chance, they will surprise you. That’s why I date around a lot, but I have only really had one boyfriend. If he asks me out, I probably will go out with him just to see if he will surprise me with a side of him I haven’t really seen yet.
Hey, I would rather have one of the nice guys who “finish last”. This guy I’m talking about is really popular with girls (probably sleeps around a lot) and likes to go out and party (from what I understand so far) and get drunk. I really don’t like that in a guy (no offense to anyone. I just couldn’t handle that lifestyle. Not really for me). That’s why I’m kinda iffy with him. My sister’s fiancee said he is a good guy, but I’m not certain. My ex is a nice guy. In fact, he got dumped cuz he wouldn’t sleep with one of his girlfriends. All I’m saying is that so far I think he is just one of the usually party-type who I don’t usually get along with. If he asks me out, I will give him a chance and see if I am wrong. If I am wrong, I’m sure we will probably be dating for awhile.
Man, I really need to stop posting when I’m dead tired. I did kind of explain my philosophy bad.
You’re missing her point here, kiddo. Why is her desire to be surprised by someone making you think it’s “not about love”? I tend to only fall for men who surprise me. Love is very much about surprise. The people I love the most, romantic partners and otherwise, surprise me every day.
