It's a Tea party!

A lot of fun, really. I just wish I had more toys to play with.

stares dolefully at EST, willing it back in stock so that I can spend too much money

Why is cockiness considered a bad thing? We just know we’re great, and wanna tell people about it… That’s all. Absolutely innocent :stuck_out_tongue:

Seriously though, guys… I’m getting totally arrogant. “I’m sexy as hell!” “Is it because I’m too pretty?” more comments about me being great.
I mean I’m attractive enough… I’m between average and pretty. I have a nice body. My skin is mostly clear. I get the occasional compliment, though my personality doesn’t invite them. There are even a few guys crushing on me. But I’ve never been so blatantly… full of myself. I used to pride myself on being somewhat classy, demure, polite, etc. Now I’m crude, out-spoken, and confident, and I’m loving it! Sorta. Guilt comes later.

Like now. :frowning: I’ve been really honest about my opinions of people lately. Dislike is expressed too harshly. I mean, I dislike them, and I don’t care if they know it, but I don’t want them to know why. It’s usually something they can’t change about themselves. I don’t want people finding reason to hate themselves because of me.

EXCEPT THAT ONE GIRL

We love you, Tisha. Thank you
Gonna try it out this week! Seems like a clean game plan.

The thread it came from is full of great advice for newbies, too:

my stupid newbie tricks

Thanks to Renny as well!

Well there’s nothing wrong with feeling good. However, you can’t control how other people feel or interpret your behavior.
To some YouFeelGood = YouMustHaveSomethingIDon’t
therefore ISenseLack
therefore MoreReasontoFeelBad
therefore IHateThatBitchForMakingMeFeelThisWay

For instance, I’m a naturally cocky little jokester, without pheros. I’m the talk of the office (good and bad) I look the youngest, get the most freebies, company paid trips, high end food. Always in a great damn mood, make everyone laugh, am the bestest friend, always want to give, etc.

Because I “think” I’m so perfect I think its ok to tell people how they should be. Oh no! Mistake. 30 years of mistake by the way. Let’s continue the equation…

therefore IHateThatBitchForMakingMeFeelThisWay + sheTellsMeHowtoBe
= IReallyHateThatCockyBitch
= IDoNotFeeLBetterAboutMySelf + IHateHerMore
=DeepViciousCycleOfNegativity

For years I didn’t get that equation. Until I met someone who I perceived to be cuter funnier kinder then me. On top of that she never tells people they are wrong. She has the one quality I don’t… she is accepting.

It’s a quality I should attain, but haven’t been able to because I have such a big head. I must be right because I feel good. But with her she can feel good AND others can feel good about her.

Because she recognizes that HerFeelingGood=YouMustHaveSomethingIDon’t. And it’s true she has something I don’t. She can be pleasant when I’m a superstar and maintain her superstar quality. Yet when she becomes a superstar I question what I don’t have. So there you have it…what it looks like inside the mind of a cockyAssBastorrette. :stuck_out_tongue:

First of all I ain’t sayin’ you, or anybody else, is good, bad or ugly…just expressin’ ma opinion here…

No crime in knowing you’re great!..or feelin’ good about yourself. It’s how you project it that’s important.
It could be your age…lol…and I’m not sure what that is…but I’m bettin’ 40’s? Uh huh…this is the time the testy starts kickin’ in. You’re feeling your oats girl! This is the time in life when ‘that attitude’ makes it’s way to the forefront. You realize that you’ve payed your dues and you’re ready to take a big chunk outta life for ‘payback’ if you will…you deserve it…you’ve f’in’ earned it. Why hold back, especially, if you don’t want to? Am I on track here?

Pheromones can inspire confidence in a girl…but not like you describe. That’s you, Tea…that comes from you…it’s all in how you coose to channel it. And it is a choice.

Cockiness, a little, can work if you’re not truly arrogant…and whoever you’re layin’ it on or slappin’ it to gets that you’re playing and being flirty, sexy and fun to be around…and he/they like playing back. Otherwise, you’re exactly right…they think you’re obnoxiuos and full of yourself…is that really attractive to most men/people?

Most guys I know are usually up for a round of fun repartee…thoughtless/hurtful/arrogant/obnoxious remarks turn everybody off…at least where I come from. That does not imply you can’t be straight up and honest about your feelings or beliefs. If you deliever yourself in good taste and form you, pretty much, can’t lose…and you can feel good about yourself in the process…pheromones or no pheromones. Then again some guys actually like brash women…good…'cause there’s plenty of 'em!

Guilt and doubt…enemies of all men. We do it to ourselves mostly…and then there are those people who try, desperately, to create that in us.

You want people to know you dislike them but not why…because it’s something they can’t change about themselves. If you don’t tell them why…then you’re not really being honest. Not telling them is a way to exercise control…part of the ‘punishment’ for incurring your distain…they’re not even worthy of an explanation. Hum…I’m afraid I would, also, interpret that behavior as somewhat hostile…I’m funny that way…lol. We’re all human beings, and by virtue of that fact, should be treated with respect…at least a modicum…
If you don’t want people to feel bad about themselves, because of you, then don’t give them a reason. And if you don’t want to feel bad about your own self, for treating them that way, read the above again.

Hope I’ve delivered this ok..and, maybe, answered your question…

OK Sug…:stuck_out_tongue:

Every one should feel good…no crime there, either. What’s wrong is needing to make others feel bad in order to make yourself feel good. Not sayin’ anybody here does that… just sayin’…
I agree. You can only control your own behavior. And sometimes, no matter what, they ain’t gonna getcha…they just ain’t. No comprehendo…no connecto.
Your best hope is to, try to, verbally present yourself well. Think before you comment…consider others feelings when conversing. It’s hard to step out of yourself that way…takes work, thought, empathy and sensitivity… trust me…I know and still f up.
Nothing wrong with honesty…I prefer it…delievered as I said. That’s why people tell ya stuff… gets it off their mind/chest and in/on yours…lol. Nothin’ like knowing exactly where you stand with someone. Definitely clears things up and could, seriously, prevent you/them from making a fool of you/themselves in the future. People can be so selfish, unkind even cruel. Be kind…for God’s sake. Put yourself in their shoes…how would you like to be told/treated? Sometimes, no matter how you couch it, it can still hurt and ya gotta be prepared for that…whether your giving or recieving.

She doesn’t do that to you…you do it to yourself. There’s always a prettier, sexier…blah blah blah…if you get me. Sugarspicesugar…you need to accept yourself…and others. That’s the ticket to freedom on this ride. That deep cycle of negativity will remain until you get a handle on it. You have more goin’ for you than the average bear…YOU are way out in front in so many areas. Stop chasing your tail! You can do this. If you don’t want to be percieved as a “cocky bitch”…then don’t be one.
You know I love you.

Your friend has found ‘the secret’. She’s secure within herself.

We all have our standards…thing is they just don’t really apply to anyone else. People are not here to live up to our expectations or down to them. People don’t like being boxed and labeled. When we realize that we get along much better with others and it helps with the, ever eternal internal, struggle. You gotta let people freely be themselves. And you gotta find a way to accept it AND love them for it to boot. If you don’t like them and their ways? Find new friends…keep it up long enough and I see a very lonely girl. You never want to look bad, jealous or needy…all very unattractive qualities and completely self defeating. I’m not saying be untrue to yourself, that’s as bad as betraying a friend. In fact I think showing a little vulnerability in the right situation is very attractive and shows that you’re willing to trust, stick your neck out and take a chance. Kinda brave really. Just don’t be sloppy about it…people hate that. Trust me…I’m as quilty as the next guy. I guess what I’m trying to say here is…be a better friend to yourself.

That, of course, is because she’s confident enough in herself to not be competetive. And what’s more she’s confident and secure enough in herself to allow others to shine.
Personally, I love to see others, my friends in particular, do well at whatever…it makes me proud of them…and their accomplishments. I feel privileged to know and be included in the lives of these people. I’m happy for them. I feel as though it makes me shine too. I, often, enjoy them feeling well about themselves and bask in their glory. So I guess I’m weird in my own way…lol

I could, at times, reduce people to a heap…crush them…if I choose to…I do not. I’m not here to make people feel inadequate, inferior, bad in general or in particular about themselves. I don’t need to downtrod others to boost my ego or make me feel good about myself. Whatever is lacking in me can’t be gained by doing that to anyone. Once, again I’m not saying you do that. We know why people do it and it doesn’t bode well for those who do. It makes them appear to be exactly what they are…insecure…lacking confidence…no matter what they say.

Sorry sooooo long winded..but earlier I sprayed on a-Androstenol, Instant Female Magic and TAH. Chatty…way chatty…and relaxed…yeah…that’s my excuse…lol…

First of all I’d like to thank you both for your thought-out comments. Reps for your time and effort, and great advice.

I agree on your first count, though the post you’re commenting on was meant to be sarcasm… but that’s fine. Love the equations! Hehe.
Personally, I’m more jealous of people who get a lot than those who are prettier. I consider myself a tad above average, which is enough for me, but I’ve always gotten more more more as a child. My parents loved to get me things, because I was such a great student in school, never got in trouble, managed time excellently for a young’un… so I was spoiled. Sigh! Good thing I can persevere and get things without mommy and daddy  Thing is, I feel like I can do anything, and never expect to fail if I put even half an iota of effort in… Most of the time, I come out near the top. I’m that kid who never payed attention in school and got high 90s on the tests. If I want something, I freakin’ better get it, and if I don’t, I’d better be humbled by the person who does. That is, by my standards.
So… I’m a selfish narcissist. Bah. No one’s perfect. Not even your cute funny accepting friend! There’s got to be a sixth toe or something on her :stuck_out_tongue: (kidding! maybe)

No, subtract over 20 years… LOL. Do I sound like I’m in my 40s? I’ve always been told I’m very mature for my age but…

Totally. Lately I’ve taken on a more… hm… “give me everything because I deserve it” attitude. I’m not really rude, per say, I’m just jokingly demanding until they give in. Nothing but laughter for both parties.
Well, I know I’m pretty great, but I’m not WONDERFUL, FANTASTIC, STUPENDOUS… or anything. Heh. Just… secure with myself. I like to flaunt it a bit, especially since my female peers all complain about being fat and mediocre. Damn it, you’re only as beautiful as you think you are!

Ahh! That’s what I was afraid of. I guess there’s just no hope for me.
Maybe I should take up kick-boxing or something physical to better channel it. That way I can stop being a jerk.

I find that a lot of guys will enjoy at least a little bit of arrogance in a girl… it makes him feel like he’s really with someone good and stable I think. Plus he doesn’t feel like he has to walk on eggshells around her. What guy wants to get asked “does this dress make me look fat?” Most would rather that their woman parades out of the bedroom declaring “I make this dress look good!” That way they can agree and have fun at some party.
Not so arrogant that she has an attitude of “you’re lucky to be with me,” of course… but yes, in general, people will enjoy some cockiness as long as it’s lighthearted and they don’t feel attacked or belittled.

Tact will get you everywhere, that’s a hard fact. You need to be honest, but you need to be honest in such a way that you don’t come off as condescending, big-headed, etc… English is a frighteningly extensive language… just find some synonyms and remove all curse words, and you can go from being a snob to being helpful and friendly.
Well, as of now, I’m not addicted to pheromones… hehe… but I’m painfully curious still. I just wanna testttt themmm!

Ahh, I know… but… it’s not that I walk up to them and say, “hey, I have a problem with you” or anything… most of the time it’s that they annoy or infuriate me. I leave it at that. You’re absolutely right, though. People deserve to know why they’ve incited dislike or disdain. The last thing I want to do is start any sort of drama, though. Plus, it’s not as if not talking to them is hurting their feelings if we were never close… makes up more excuses

It wasn’t a serious question, but thanks very much for your wonderful insights

Rawr! No more natural deodorant for me!
Sadly, these past two days encourage cancer-causing antiperspirant as far as my behavior. I’ve gone back to normal… whatever that is

My Cheetah responds well to MX135… ever since I got into pheros, and almost every time I wear it, he’s been touchy in a strictly sexual way. Yeesh! Not that he isn’t quite the nice piece of skinny geek ass…

He’s been making weird observations, too. Very out-of-place things to say. Commenting that our back and forth sexual, flirty banter had more lines than usual, when it didn’t really… There were a few more, but hell if I remember them.

I’m still noticing smells more than usual. Perfume, cologne, nature…

Oh! And I’ve been using ginger body splash to tone down on the chocolatini. It’s working well for me  More like gingerbread cookies than thick chocolate icing. Phero friend “Blade” says the chocolate is hard to detect, but she can sniff it out if she searches.
“It’s like alcohol. Like, after you vomit the first time, whenever alcohol’s around you can smell the vomit, even if it’s not there.”
Smelling chocolatini is like vomiting apparently. LOL.

The rule I go by is: If I’ve got it, I don’t need to flaunt it. Everyone can see it anyway. Know what I mean? Like if you say, “This is the most hilarious joke ever!” before you tell a joke, you don’t get nearly as much laughter as if you told the joke without the intro.

I also figure that if I don’t like someone, it is a matter of personal taste or maybe clashing styles or values. Doesn’t mean the other person is wrong, they are just so different that I can’t understand where they are coming from.

I often wear men’s deodorant since the women’s brands all have antiperspirant in them. Right now I wear Realm Men’s deo, and before that I wore Gucci Envy Men’s deo. Doesn’t seem healthy to block pores that close to your lymph nodes on a daily basis. Plus I read something that said the aluminum salts in antiperspirant might contribute to alzheimers? Has anyone else heard that?

Just to make things clear. When the above post when I give the equation with the “I” I’m role playing into someone else’s mind not me.

I (the real me) don’t hate nobody!!! Just giving an example. Grouchy yes. Hate? No.

And sorry if I sound sarcastic. More ment for humor than to be a pain.

And reps, to you, for takin’ it on your very cute chin.

God bless the child who’s got his own…

We love you anyway… Perfection is highly over rated…the imperfect is fascinating.

Well, by the time you get to my age, I’ll be dead…lol. Sorry I’m gonna miss it…:stuck_out_tongue:

Self love is good…self intitlement?..egomania?..notsomuch. I’m OK you’re OK. Seeing the beauty of/ in others…even bettah.

If ever there was a loaded question this is the one…jus shoot 'em in the head…it would be less painful…he’ll thank you. Or…guys jus tell her, “Ya”…and shoot yourself…

“You bring that dress to life, girl!”, that’s what Wolfie says…never, " I love that dress…". You’re right…it ain’t the dress…it helps, granted…lol…but it ain’t the dress.

Yes they do, it’s only decent.

Good to know…and your welcome!

Ermmm… Just to clarify, I’m really not negative most of the time. Just been grouchy in the past few weeks testing this -none business. :stuck_out_tongue:. This job ain’t easy.

I like to open up once in a while to let the world know people with big heads have feelings too. Hehehe. Trust me, my girlfriends have told me they want to pay me for my ability to look on the bright side, esp when they are in a heap of dung. Us women, we all go down that dark road once a month. LOL. Some of us more than others.

In some respect she is. But like all humans, she too has many insecurities, but she is kind enough not to blast it in other people. My friend is a genuinely kind person and it does make her more beautiful in my eyes. I tend to not like competition either and I hate it when people do it to me. I usually stop talking to my girlfriends if they do anything remotely competitive.

Actually I use to wonder why people compete with me when I don’t compete with them. Like dude, I thought you were my friend. Why you act like my enemy? I don’t mind if people have a shinning quality…like the info-rich Ms. Tealeaves, or The Bomb Bella, and the ever popular everyone’s best friend Kitten, sorry if I missed anyone. I too like to praise people and want them to do better.

But when someone starts acting like a competitor, the natural -none guns come out. That happens like twice a year… We are, after all, animals in civilized clothing.

I feel good flaunting it a bit sometimes, though… :o I like seeing the reactions. It’s nice to get some validation once in a while. That way I know I’m not just delusional or severely self-absorbed…lol. There’s a difference between building your self-image off of the reactions of others, and reinforcing it based on those reactions. But yeah, you’re probably right. Gotta be careful I don’t overdo it. Hehe.
It’s like a piece of artwork… if people are polite, and all you get is positive feedback, you’ll never know what can actually be improved. Luckily my closest friend makes sure I know EXACTLY what’s wrong with me at all times…

This one girl is wrong. My friend was diagnosed by her psychologist as having a mental disorder, and this girl is telling everyone. My friend hadn’t even told her. It’s just something to talk about, something she can tell people so that they’ll want to talk with her. It’s not her business and she’s using it as a conversation piece. Grr!
But other than that, I agree. :o Usually I try to respect that. It’s the fake people I dislike.

Antiperspirants and Deodorant
Third paragraph, yes, it says it’s been linked to Alzheimer’s… of all things
Thanks for the tip. I didn’t know men’s deodorants typically don’t have antiperspirants… I wonder if you could make up for blocking your lymph things if you used oil pulling? Hmm…

Thanks for your wisdom, Kitten
I love your avatar, by the way. Rrrr!

Tea, have you tried natural liquid mineral crystals? They work well for me…

Yes, Wolfie too…brings out the animal in 'em… …lovey, very touchy feely…grabby even…lol…we both love MX135…except the scent…phew…no love there.

I’ve used Demeters Fresh Ginger to cover? the dreaded chocolatini…it’s at least strong enough to dampen it…but seems, pretty much, the chocolatini always bleeds through…at least on me anyways.

Funny how when you start using pheromones more awareness of scents comes to the foreground. I’ve always been sensitive to odors…but now…everything stinks…lol

Hey Tealeaves,
You know, I certainly don’t live up to my own rules all the time! And one of the reasons I don’t tell others why I don’t like them might be because I’m chicken and don’t want an icky scene. :o

I say, enjoy your feisty self! Life’s too short to hold back too often.

Regarding the antiperspirant thing, good article. I’m extra careful bout my lymph nodes etc because my mom had breast cancer that spread to her lymph and it was not good at all. She’s fine now, and I want to stay healthy too.

Oil pulling (NO OFFENSE INTENDED TO ANYONE! Especially the radiant Sheba.) just sounded a little gross to me from the description. I’ll take oil in a massage or a salad, but otherwise not my thing.

Rawwwr right back at you, sweetie!
Kitten

Yeah, that’s what I have, from TCCD International. It works for me in the sense it’s supposed to… no sticky pits, but I it’s preserving my natural pheros and I think they’re making me bitchy… lol. That’s the last thing I need. Luckily, people are very tolerant of me while wearing MX135

I actually made a mistake… the body splash I use is Warm Gingerbread  It’s very nice on it’s own, and coupled with the chocolatini, I smell like a bakery. My chocolatini-hating friend even said it covered well enough. Unfortunately, I can’t find it on the net… It was a gift, and is only labeled as “Body Luxuries,” which apparently isn’t a company. I like it a lot even on it’s own, and was gonna get more when I started running low… that’s upsetting.

Oh, tell me about it! I spent about two hours with someone whose smell… doesn’t agree with my nose… and after he left, I could smell him on me for an hour. It was crazy. I felt like a dog :stuck_out_tongue:

That too. I hate conflict because I get submissive in the presence of anger, but I really like to toe the line sometimes… Plus, it’s one thing if they’re mad at me, but when I ruin their day with something that was accidentally hurtful, I just feel like a terrible person… of course. SOOO I lose no matter what happens.

I hear yah. The thing is, I gotta find a happy medium between living my life to the fullest and living it in a way that I don’t ruin the lives of other people with my feistiness… :stuck_out_tongue:

Glad to hear she’s well. Breast cancer is in my family as well, but I was young at the time of illness, so I don’t know the specifics…
Glad to hear you’re keeping yourself healthy. That’s rare to see in my area of the world nowadays…

Honestly, I don’t blame you. It’s awful. The feel of the oil alone… eegh. I tried it for a few days while I was sick, but just can’t make myself do it anymore now that I’m well again.
A salad sounds like a good idea, though

Nurr, I’ve been busy lately, but I have been testing!
This are the little factoids I’ve gathered so far, since the beginning of my “phero journey”

Instant Honesty gets the biggest reactions from my homosexual male friends. Every time I wear it, they love me a little bit extra

MX135 + IHx4 = I aggravate others. I end up being too talkative and sun-shiny.
MX135x3 = Everyone loves me. I can be rude, or pester them all I want… they just laugh with me. I guess I found my sweet spot
MX135x3 +IHx2 (or IHx4) = Everyone loves me, and I’m rarely the one to initiate conversation.
IHx8 and up = I don’t even give people a chance to be honest… I’m telling them all of my personal business.

Pheros applied to neck / underside of chin = mostly self effects
Applied to chest = equal self effects and effects on others
Applied to hair = mostly effects on others
Applied to wrists = few noticeable effects (but I’m always wearing long sleeves)
Applied to top of head = effects tall people almost exclusively, no significant self effects and few on those within six inches of my height (5’4") unless we’ve been in the same place for a while

My favorite combo so far is MX135x3, two to the chest and neck and one to the hair, and IHx4, two sprays to the hair.

I had an interview on Thursday and wore one spray of MX135 to the wrists, and two sprays of IHx2 to the hair. That’s the combo that irritates people, don’t forget. Eeek! I did okay for an interview, but I doubt that I impressed :frowning:

My little love potion… MX250

I’ve read a few posts about this MX, but for some reason, I had been under the impression that it was MX135+20xcops, instead of Instant Sexiness/A  Where the heck did I get that idea? Also, why the heck isn’t that the case?

EST is still out of stock. I notice several other things are out of stock as well…

Also, I have no points. Whyyy? Wasn’t I supposed to get the 500 points for signing up plus the amount I spent on pheros? cries

I’m gonna be ordering Essence of a Woman soon. Hope it doesn’t stink up whatever box it comes in. And money is tight right now, but… I kinda wanna try out Scent of Eros too. I think it’s like a cucumber melon scent though…? which kinda makes me feel BLEGH. At least it’s not sweet pea. Nausea!

I kinda want a phero that will make others perceive me as ugly… just for fun. Anyone know any? I promise I won’t lace anyone’s perfume with it.

Get in touch with SteveO or Tish and ask?..stop cryin’…hands TL tissue…lol…they’ll fix it…don’t they fix freakin’ everythiing?

Dunno… Maybe 'cause it’s cookie and chocolatint scent…you confused it with MX135? However, TL…I think you’re onto something…
uh oh…I see a custom order in my future…MX135…+ 20xcops…YOWZA!!! :open_mouth: :stuck_out_tongue: Inkling?..lol

EoW is gonna stink…lol…no matter what it comes in…:stuck_out_tongue: Do you know your mailman?..well…he ain’t nevah gonna look at ya the same way after he delievers that box!..lol

Can’t say enough about Scent of Eros…fabulous…absolutely consistent results…and a great feeling wearing it. I adore it!.It smells more, to me, like a light men’s cologne…I can’t quite put my finger on it…but not so cuc/melon. Maybe somebody else could nail down a comparison cologne scent for ya?tht
light man’s cologne scent to it…I prefer the scent to AMO…which like the effects of…but the scent…notsomuch. I…

Hummm…let’s see…you could wear or get near someone on too much say…-none?..then it could get bitchy…oooooh…'n then turn ugly!..lol…ya…a -none OD could do that for ya…let me know how it goes…you should talk to sugarspice…she can help you here…
OH…you meant the other kind of ugly…:stuck_out_tongue:
Ah…nothin’s gonna make you that kinda ugly, sweetheart.

Bella

Oooh mx135 with 20x cops! That would be fantastic! Another I would love to see is Dolly’s tal’d up 216 but in a b version for the tah lovers. Lots of tah & cops with a sprinkle of socials.

Tealeaves a more affordable option for Scent of Eros would be to try it out in gel pack first. It smells to me like a clean floral, sadly it is one of those scents that irritate my sinus.

Has anyone spotted the Planters commercial with the “ugly” girl rubbing on peanuts and men reacting to her? Sometimes I enjoy commercials way too much. :o
