Last night, I decided to make a little mix with what remained of my a314.
So, this is a bottle that I bought about a year ago (october '07) and well, it magically dwindled down to nothing 
. I take the bottle and begin dripping the contents of it into an empty togo bottle and count about 14 drops before it stops. Then, being the engineer I am ( i love taking stuff apart), I take out my knife and take the dropper top off and poured the remnants of the bottle into the togo bottle. . . and I was surprised by the amount I got. By the time I had gotten every drop out of the a314 bottle, I had procured a little more than 1ml of a314 in the togo bottle. 1ml!! thats about 52 drops of a314!
Has anyone tried this/noticed this?
Ha, I was gonna do the same thing(I work in the IT field) so I was jsut as curious as you. I was gonna do the same, but I didnt know HOW MUCH would be in 1 togo spray.
Gues Visionary or someone could help w/ that one..I can hack into a computer w/ my eyes closed, but suck at math..go figure:o

Well, if there’s about 52 drops in 1 ml, (and reps to you Eldros BTW - I shall remember this come the time it looks like I have run out of A314)… bearing in mind this is a rough estimate… there are 260 drops in 5ml, and - supposing a to-go full of oil didn’t get all gummed up and unable to dispense a spray (this is not an assumption you can make IRL, but just for the sake of argument) with about 40 sprays in a to-go, one spray would dispense about 6.5 drops’ worth of A314… hmm… quite a lot 
Another post elsewhere on the forum by, I think, MarkL, suggests one can get away with putting 20% oil or DPG in a to-go without gumming the works up; one would fill the rest with alcohol-based product and, of course, shake well before each application. In this case 1 ml is indeed 20% of the spray. Whatever else you used to make up the rest of the 5ml, you would dispense (20% of 6.5 drops) or 1.3 drops of A314 with each spray of the to-go. A pretty nice amount.
Elsewhere on the forum, there is another opinion that one drop of A314 is 0.03ml or so. Which would make 1ml - 33.333… drops, 5ml - 166.66… drops, a hypothetical “to-go spray of A314” - 4.166… drops, and if you used 1ml of A314 and mixed up whatever other sprays to make up your 5ml, then one spray of the mix would dispense 0.8333… drops of A314.
btw, my mix consisted of:
~1ml a314 (october '07)
2ml ammo
6 drops taa oil
3 drops dirty
into a togo bottle that had residual ifm.
Results have been pleasant. Not much can make me down, and it smells amazing.
That’s a lot of oil based products for a small inexpensive plastic atomizer, how well does it spray?
sprays on perfectly fine.
I thought 16 spays was in a togo spay bottle
