Oooh…I’m a very happy girl. I just got a brand-new 100mL bottle of Musc Ravageur on eBay for $168 including priority mail shipping. This is a fragrance that retails for $180 at places like Barney’s New York (and they charge like $25 for shipping to AK/HI which is ludicrous). I cannot believe I got such a fantastic deal. I was willing to pay even more because the seller is shipping via Priority Mail, which is the fastest and best way for items to get to me.
I cannot waaaaait for it to arrive! I’m so excited! YEEEEEEEEE!
Musc Ravageur is very hard to fake. I’ve never heard of fake Editions de Parfum Frederic Malle. Some fragrances like Creed’s Green Irish Tweed are huge sellers and have been targeted by counterfeiters. Many people believe that Cool Water is a ripoff of GIT, and it seems that the counterfeiters just make fake Creed boxes and bottles, and fill them with Cool Water. A lot of people on Basenotes have gotten burned with “Green Frich Tweed” bottles bought on eBay that were marketed as genuine Creed Green Irish Tweed.
wish i had seen this a minute ago..i just posted to another message about michel germain’s sexual about how THIS is the best fragrance ever! it’s unisex but even if it weren’t i would love it! it is the richest, sexiest fragrance ever. i originally bought one of the orignal 10ml spritzers from someone on ebay who imports european items, especially italian, french etc. it is indescribable..i wore it to work and the ladies love it on me…not that it matters to me lol! i’m gay, but even so i love that people notice it on me and are drawn to it. my one female coworker said “that’s what you wear when you want to get in trouble” and then laughed bawdily! you can order it thru barney’s but also right through the editions de parfums website which is my next step…though i have to save up the money for it…it’s slightly more pricey than retail/department store colognes but soooo worth the money! and i think it would play very nicely with pheromones!

i just want to say blazingazn88…i definitely understand your concern..i purchased my first bottle of it from ebay..the small ten ml spray of it and let’s just say..with this scent you would know if you were getting a fake..unless it was a good one and then if it were good i wouldn’t even care…it’s that delicious smelling!!
Oh good God almighty… Musc Ravageur on a man would be sexy as all get-out! I like wearing a lot of “shared” fragrances that could be worn by a woman or a man. MR on the right fella would be devastatingly good…
I loooove MR and I wear it almost every day… except when I FORCE myself to wear something else for variety’s sake…but gosh, I want to smell it all the time. It’s amazingly good. Worth every penny in my estimation.
well i know that when i wear it that my female friends(99.9% of the staff i work with are female of all age ranges up to somewhere in the sixties) compliment me profusely …and i did mention the one lady(she’s in her sixties..she is the coolest most fun fabulous woman ever!!!)told me it smells like what you wear to ‘get into some trouble’! so definitely i think you all(sorry..southern roots)would love it on your men!!
