Just got my 1st order!

I started out with the Instant Shine and found it a bit strong, so covered it with Ylang Ylang essential oil. Still too strong, so covered it with lime essential oil for a fruity note. That was pretty nice.

Any other tips welcome also.

Thought I’d bring this here as well!!

For daily, she’ll normally use the customized scent package that I ordered with Instant Shine. She decided that a Neroli/Grapefruit combo was agreeable to her. Usually with IH, though, she is not using IH as much, if at all, after some brutally honest comments that come from her when she wears it… I’m still seeing what she thinks of starting up IH.

When going out for something special, she’ll cover the IS with Sephora Prada and the IS the scent doesn’t seem to affect the Prada. The IS scent seems to complement it. At least, she likes it.
Of course, the mones of Instant Shine are still at work!!

I posted about our scent adventures here:

I’m not familiar with Sephora Prada. Do you happen to know what some of the ingredients in it would be?

Yes, too much honesty can get one in trouble. Ha. I’ll keep that in mind. A bit of humor-tempered sarcasm is probably more effective anyway.

Grapefruit and neroli sounds like a good combo. I will have to try that one.

Thanks again for the help and the road map around the site. The tutoring is appreciated.

There is nothing wrong with essential oils, just be aware they disappear quickly and have to be reapplied, because they are not grounded with any base notes. I don’t know how this would affect the silage of the pheros.

I also don’t like the neroli. I like choclatini and the cookie/grapefruit fragrance packages here at Androtics much better. For a little extra, you can get these scents custom when you order the larger bottles.

@ xev - I like the chocolatini as well and the cookie/grapefruit combo. Sillykitty put me on the path to that combo! Are you still in the Mid west?

For my personal use, I usually go with(In order of preference):
Akuto, Chocolatini, Cookie and/or with grapefruit, and FF22 bringing up the rear.

For the Sephora question:

You can check it out there, but Tisha basically spells out its notes as:
Top Notes
Bergamot, Bitter Orange, Mandarin, Mimosa Absolute.
Middle Notes
Rose absolute, Indonesian Patchouli, Patchouli Absolute.
Base Notes
Labdanum, Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Indian Sandalwood, Benzoin Resinoiden

Hi Xev and 1Alpha,

This gives lots of possibilities. It will be fun to experiment with. For now, today, I used 2 small (as possible) sprays of Instant Shine on both sides of my neck, and 1 spray of ISb. I let them dry and covered with Ylang Ylang again and some jasmine cream that I had, and it lightened up some. The only time I really noticed it after that was when I took some food out of the oven a few hours later. The heat from the oven really turned up the volume even though quite some time had passed since I had applied it. I agree, Xev, I found out, as well, that I had to reapply a few times. The Jasmine cream maybe worked a little longer; I’m not sure, but the oven sure still activated the mones.

I did notice I was slightly headachy yesterday after applying the Instant Shine and a little today also, but just put it down to that I am not accustomed to strong fragrances. I did get quite a bit accomplished today and yesterday, which is why I took so long to get back here.

Interesting about the Sephora fragrance, 1Alpha. A lot of interesting and valuable ingredients. I did check out the website, but breaking the ingredients down into the top, middle and base notes is interesting. Also the mimosa being present is different. I haven’t seen that very often. Cool.

Thanks for the input, both of you.
