Close your eyes. Imagine a brand new straight from the woodshop curly maple table, polished with honeycomb. On the table is a bowl filled with figs still warm from the sundrying rack. Alongside the figs are a handful of cracked walnuts and nearby someone has poured a short brandy and opened a humidor. The window lets in the dry air from a summer vineyard.
The older Kadota sample I had was one of my favorite scents, ever. The recent full size bottle I have seems to smell a little different, but it’s still very nice (although I’ve gotta wonder if it has a little bit less of this and little more of that).
