Lap dancing, $$$ and ovulation

this is some guy’s blog.. is it legit?

while it doesn’t surprise me, i question the hard science. How were they measuring a woman’s cycle? Are they presuming 28 days with ovulation on the 14th day or were they using basal body temperature and menstruation tracking (essentially NFP/Billings method) to figure out who was doing what when?

the 28 days bothers me, because it’s highly inaccurate to presume all woman all the time have a 28 day cycle.

i havent read paper - sluggish browser, sluggish pheroquirk tbh. but chart says ‘days from menstruation’. so implicitly very simple and if all subjects were ovulating at very different number of days following menstruation then one might expect that to dilute the clustering of paydays effect.

(i guess there is a greater than normal chance they are in synch given they work together, particularly given the unusual environment. when cycles sync - is it ovulation or menstruation that syncs?)

Menstruation syncs, but not ovulation. Women on the pill will not ovulate at all. There is also age to factor in all though most lap dancers will be in the same general range.

I also agree with Nunya on the 28 day cycle. Women may basically sync over time but that dosnt mean we all get it the same day LOL. Its like within a period of 1 to 10 days of each other.
