I’m sure you’ve all heard of the “Law of Unintended Consequences”; where you take an action expecting one thing to happen and something else unexpected also happens. Well in the California elections, we had Proposition 8, which was supposed to ban gay marriage. Well, the voters passed it yesterday. The proposition changes California’s constitution to read “marriage shall only be recognized as between one man and one woman”.
