Zeph - sorry to hear about your girlfriend. I think all of us went through that at least once in college.

20+ years later I can still remember how it felt.

I wish I could give you a magic formula but there isn’t one. You have gotten some good advice here. Just keep moving forward - you will hit equilibrium again. Do not let it shatter your confidence.

Be sure to remember the part about not medicating it. The old saying of “there are more problems at the bottom of a bottle than solutions” is true no matter what form of medication you would seek …

Mark, since you have seen much more than I have yet to see, would you please tell me what you see that I don’t? Why would you want to hold on to the memories of the not so great times? Personally (and this goes for all relationships so far) I thank the other person for the good times, the bad times, and everything in between, but only try and remember the good. Note that this is different from forgetting the past, I just don’t see why I would want to actively associate the not so good memories with memories of that person. Everytime I thought of that person I would have to relive negative emotion.

I can understand that it might help in not thinking about the person as much (you won’t miss the bad times), perhaps in my limited view, I see it as defensive and rooted in avoidance of the real issue. You miss the good times.

Please show me what I am missing. :slight_smile:

Hey Phya, Thanks for asking your question so politely and suggesting your reasons for questioning the advice I offered.

Once you’ve gotten over the heartache and moved on it’s fine to look back on the good times you shared.

But, at least in my experience, when you are trying to put your heart back together and move on after a breakup, reliving the good times only reminds you of the loss, deepens the pain and drags out the recovery period. By focusing more on the bad times it tends to help to soften the loss, allow you to recover and move on faster.

Plus at the begining you are vulnerable to wanting to get back together with her or just with someone … remembering what went wrong (and later taking some time to really consider it once most of the pain is gone from a “lessons learned” aspect) keeps you from making a similar mistake in the future.

Come Talk To Me Mix 2: 2 sprays, 1 back of neck, 1 left arm
MX200: 3 sprays, 2 back of neck, 1 left arm
TAL: 2 sprays, 1 left arm, 1 back of neck

Yeah, I dunno why I did left arm, I thought I might be sitting next to this cute Asian girl, to her right, my left. But yeah, didn’t happen that way, she sat in front of me. haha.

Temp: Mid 80s.
Setting: Classroom/lecture hall.

Class starts at 7. My target ends up sitting in front of me. Earlier in the day she was extremely shy-ish running off a lot whenever I saw her before this class.

Earlier in the day I had on:
Honesty STRx4: 2sprays back of neck
Gentleman: 2 sprays, back of neck
AMMO: 1 spray, back of neck
MX200: 2 sprays back of neck.

She seemed really evasive, shy and unsure of herself and always seemed like she ran away. But now, with my first mix, she seemed more confident and initiated conversation with me. She was MUCH more talkative and wasn’t as shy or ending convos or running away. Well I guess in a class you can’t run away, but you can certainly just stop talking to someone. She kept talking to me and opening me with various things and topics of that day’s quiz. Seeing and checking to make sure I know things and stuff. Just found that to be a curious turn-around in behavior and thought it was a pretty good hit. Only hit for the night cause I left after quiz. Sorry, not much of a post. =/

Cool report, I’d say, next class, sit next to her, jokingly say something like ‘well, if you’re gonna ask me so many questions, I should just sit next to you.’ :stuck_out_tongue: And then sit there, hopefully that makes her laugh and you’re in. :wink: (Small caveat..she might take that the wrong way, I’d make sure to make it clear through BL or voice tone that it is a joke)

As for your ex, it sounds like to me that you should stop talking to her, at least until you’ve got your feet up underneath you. It’s only more painful talking to your ex about her new man. Do a lot of shit that makes you happy for now. When you’re ready to talk to your ex again, talk to her. But for now, I think you should ignore her and just focus on yourself and your own happiness.

On a side note, if you haven’t already, A314, IH, mx200, and IS has been nice so far today. I’ll probably post a short report tonight.

That was a good report despite your present state. I commend you for taking the time to check in and report for us.

I must say I agree with Phya about not continuing to talk to your ex. It’ll just foster the unhappy feelings you’re having to continue doing so. Personally, I find it easier to move on by removing contact altogether. There may come a time when you’re able to engage her on some level without so many negative feelings, but just not right now.
I don’t think it’s good for you.

After class I had to ask the professor some questions about a quiz and some concepts. A friend (female) had the same questions and one of her friends (male) did too. She was exiting a row, he was following her and we briefly talked about what we needed to know and what we were confused about. They were maybe about 4-5 feet away. As soon as they got closer to me, the both of them were trying to get my attention. The guy was at first kind of cautious since he and I don’t know each other. But after about 2-3 minutes he was talking to me like we’ve been acquainted before. He opened me twice trying to talk to me. Sat down right next to me in the front row while we were waiting for the teacher. It seemed like he was trying to be friends with me out of respect, kinda like the respected older bro in Asian culture. The hyung thing in korean culture. The girl was trying to get me to help her with what I knew even though I already taught her what I knew. Trying to get me to go to the library. Told her that I was lazy and didn’t want to study and she tells me “good, then you can tutor me instead.” In the end, the guy asked me for my cell in case I study. The girl already had mine.

Mmm, I’m kinda liking the socials + 1 - 1.5 shot of AMMO. It seems like a pretty good mix overall, and it also seems to work well with Asians. MX200 + honesty + AMMO. Kinda want to try shine, but I’m out -_-;;

Been wearing this mix lately. Been getting a lot of attention. Random people at school wave and say hi to me. Been going to this restaurant lately and there’s always these 2 workers there. This Thursday one of them walked over to me and opened me and winked at me before I left. Kinda… creepy. Been getting attention from Asian females a lot. Mostly korean though.

Things are getting better… Been doing what Phya and Bella recommended. Helped a lot for me.
Anyways, this is totally random. Anyone know of ways to decrease or increase male and female hormones, testosterone/estrogen? Asked my doctor and said there really aren’t ways, but there might be. Anyone have any ideas?

Good to hear that things are working out. Doesn’t going to the gym increase your testosterone? I’m probably mistaken, but I thought there was a link between fat and estrogen too.

mmm dunno, never been good with attention… went to a party yesterday. Got a pretty good amount of attention. 3 girls opened me randomly.
Was wearing:
MX105: 1x spray back of neck
IG: 1x spray back of neck
Honesty 4x str: 2x spray back of neck
MX200: 2x spray back of neck
CTTM2: 3x spray to hair
Mostly Asians there. I only knew like 3 people there but people would open me, ask me randomly for my name and introduce themselves. Mix lasted a good… 2.5 hours, faded around 3-4 hours. Was hanging around in a really warm part of the house so that probably caused them to wear off faster.

How are you liking mx200 so far, now that you’ve had more time with it?

I feel that mx200 is most effective for me when I back it up with something solid and hard. Like A314, other wise it gets too flowery(?) for me?

yeah I know what you mean. It feels a bit… weak. No matter how much you put on, it just doesn’t feel… right. Like, it feels like it just doesn’t have that kick even though it’s enough for what you need it for. I don’t think I really have a great hang of MX200 quite yet. It’s been hit or miss so far with it, so going to try it with MX105 and maybe a togo spray of AMMO.

Hi Zeph :slight_smile: I’m glad to hear you’re feeling better.

Nice attention getting combos you’ve got going. I haven’t any experience with MX200, but Wolf likes the Instant Gentleman, Honesty, Ammo combo. He wears it socially a lot. Though sometimes swaps out the IG for Scent of Eros, which he also likes. Since he’s older he bumps up the IG to 2 sprays and 2 sprays AMMO/2X. The Honesty goes to the back of his hair and sometimes a spray or two of Shine, right up front. It’s such an attractive mix, really never fails.

So are you saying all this attention is a bit unsettling for you? If so, it’s good for you to get out of your comfort zone and do this. It opens you up too, and that’s a good thing. :wink: I think it will get easier as you get used to it. I mean it’s a burden to have women come on to you and all…lol.

As far as increasing testosterone/estrogen, there are several options. Natural alternatives are, of course, best. Check out some of Mohammed Shah’s posts on testosterone and, I think, Hazard has some posts about it as well. Warren is also very knowlegable about this subject. You might consider having a base line test before you start anything, so you can keep everything in check. Bioidentical hormones are also an option. Though you may have trouble finding a doc who’s really knows about them and who’s willing to prescripe them.
